Abstract

Depresi adalah gangguan mental yang ditandai dengan beberapa gangguan seperti perasaan sedih hingga berujung pada bunuh diri. Obat antidepresan yang digunakan secara berkepanjangan memiliki efek samping. Sehingga pengembangan dan penemuan obat antidepresan yang memiliki efektivitas lebih tinggi dan efek samping rendah sangat penting untuk dilakukan. Salah satu tumbuhan yang memiliki aktivitas antidepresan adalah pegagan. Saat ini, banyak produk obat herbal ekstrak daun pegagan beredar dipasaran diantaranya dalam bentuk kapsul dengan klaim yang sama sebagai antidepresan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas antidepresan obat herbal kapsul ekstrak daun pegagan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Forced Swimming Test (FST) yang dimodifikasi. 9 mencit dibagi ke dalam 3 kelompok dan masing-masing kelompok diberi tiga macam perlakuan yaitu amitriptilin sebagai kontrol positif, Na-CMC 0,5% sebagai kontrol negatif, dan obat herbal kapsul ekstrak daun pegagan sebagai sampel uji. Data yang didapatkan yaitu berupa data durasi immobility, struggling, dan swimming yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 25 dengan uji One-way ANOVA dan dilanjutkan dengan post hoc LSD sebagai uji lanjutan untuk membandingkan tiap perlakuan. Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu durasi immobility, struggling, dan swimming pada perlakuan kontrol negatif, kontrol positif, dan obat herbal ekstrak daun pegagan berturut-turut kontrol negatif (87,00 detik; 25,33 detik; 127,667 detik), kontrol positif (17,66 detik; 36,33 detik; 186,00 detik), dan sampel uji (74,00 detik; 25,00 detik;140,66 detik). Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa obat herbal kapsul ekstrak daun pegagan memiliki efek antidepresan yang secara signifikan menurunkan durasi immobility dan meningkatkan durasi swimming pada mencit, tetapi tidak mempengaruhi durasi struggling.

Abstract

Acne is an abnormal skin condition caused by excessive production of oil glands (sebaceous glands), which causes blockage of hair follicle ducts and skin pores. Acne occurs due to various factors, one of which is bacterial infection. The bacteria that cause acne are Propionibacterium acnes, Staphylococcus epidermidis, and Staphylococcus aureus. The moringa plant (Moringa oleifera Lamk.) is also known to have potential antibacterial activity against bacteria that cause acne. This research aims to determine the benefits of moringa plant as a new candidate for anti-acne. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review method by collecting data through databases such as Publish or Perish, PubMed, and Google Scholar. The results of this review article show that Moringa oleifera Lamk. leaf extract has been proven to have potential as a new candidate for anti-acne, which is characterised by the formation of an inhibition zone. Moringa leaf 96% ethanol extract using the well method best inhibits the growth of Propionibacterium acnes bacteria. Moringa leaf 96% ethanol extract using the disc diffusion method is more effective on Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. Moringa leaf 70% ethanol extract using the well method is more effective on Staphylococcus epidermidis bacteria.

Abstract

Moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera Lamk.) have Tannin compounds which are secondary metabolites as antibacterial. The purpose of this study is to determine the antibacterial properties of ethanol extract from moringa leaves against Staphylococcus aureus. The research methods began with the extraction of Moringa leaves using sonication with 96% ethanol as the solvent, followed by testing the antibacterial effectiveness of the extract at concentrations of 5%, 10%, and 20%. The extract concentration with the best inhibition zone diameter was formulated into an emulgel, followed by physical evaluation of the formulation and testing its effectiveness against Staphylococcus aureus. The bacterial inhibition zone was measured to determine the antibacterial level of the extract and emulgel formulation. The results of antibacterial effectiveness were evaluated using the One Way ANOVA test with a confidence level of 95%. The yield of the extract was found to be 13.05%. The inhibition zone diameters for the ethanol extract of Moringa leaves at concentrations of 5%, 10%, and 20% were 4.8 mm, 5.3 mm, and 8.1 mm, respectively. The physical evaluation of the ethanol extract emulgel formulation met the criteria for a good emulgel. The emulgel containing 4% ethanol extract from Moringa leaves produced an inhibition zone diameter of 4.8 mm, indicating weak antibacterial effectiveness. There was a significant difference between the treatment groups according to the results of the One Way ANOVA test with a significance value (p=0.000). This study found that Moringa oleifera leaf ethanol extract has the ability as an antibacterial; however, its effectiveness decreases when formulated into an emulgel, likely due to the reduction in extract concentration in the final formulation.

Abstract

Manajemen Risiko merupakan suatu cara dalam mengorganisir suatu risiko yang akan dihadapi dengan cara mengurangi risiko. Menurut Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia Nomor 58 Tahun 2014 Tentang Standar Pelayanan Kefarmasian di Rumah Sakit. Di dalamnya telah diatur mengenai manajemen risiko pengelolaan SediaanFarmasi, Alat Kesehatan, dan Bahan Medis Habis Pakai. Dalam peraturan tersebut, juga telah diatur langkah-langkah melakukan manajemen risiko yang terdiri dari penentuan konteks manajemen risiko, identifikasi, analisa, evaluasi, dan mengatasi risiko. Tujuan dari tinjauan literatur ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses manajemen risiko mutu instalasi farmasi dirumah sakit. Metode dalam penyusunan artikel ini dilakukan dengan penelusuran pustaka melalui Google Scholar dengan kata kunci melalui database elektronik Google Scholar dengan kata kunci “Manajemen Risiko Mutu”, “Quality Risk Management” dan “Quality Risk Management in Pharmaceutical. langkah-langkah dilakukan untuk memanajemen risiko yaitu, mulai dari identifikasi, Analisa Risiko, evaluasi Resiko, Penanganan risiko, Pemantauan Resiko dan Pengkomunikasian Resiko.
