Abstract

This study aims to evaluate visitors' assessments of urban green open spaces based on the Homo Urbanicus theory, encompassing the dimensions of people, opportunity, event, and space. Using data from 178 respondents visiting green open spaces (GOS) in Bandung, the analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings indicate that both male and female visitors generally perceive the provision of primary and supporting facilities in GOS similarly. They equally recognize these facilities as essential without distinguishing between genders. However, concerning comfort, perceptions of primary and supporting facilities differ based on gender. Therefore, park management should design primary and supporting facilities to function generically for both men and women while differentiating comfort elements based on gender-specific preferences.

Abstract

In the era of rapid globalization and digital transformation, Indonesia’s banking sector is expected to play a pivotal role in supporting national economic growth. To stay competitive and maximize their contribution to the economy, banks must continuously enhance their operational performance. Intense competition in terms of growth and market share emphasizes the importance of understanding the key factors that drive banking performance. This study investigates the impact of managerial capabilities and external environmental conditions on the performance of PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk, a state-owned bank in Indonesia, during recent years. The results reveal that both internal managerial factors and external environmental factors significantly influence bank performance, with managerial capabilities playing a more dominant role. These insights highlight the critical importance of strengthening internal management skills while remaining adaptive to external changes. The study provides valuable guidance for banking management in developing effective strategies to improve performance through internal capacity building and environmental responsiveness.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the business management quality of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Cigugurgirang Village by applying appropriate technology, specifically digitalization of business planning. The problems identified include the ineffective use of technology in business management, both for marketing, product, and process innovation, human resource competency, and limited access to capital as well as suboptimal management of the cost of goods sold. The solution to these problems by the Community Service team was carried out by designing a business planning guide using the design thinking approach, including survey activities, workshops, manual template preparation, training, digitalization, and trials. The manual template is accompanied by a guide to filling out business plans. From business ideas and marketing, human resource management, operations and production, to finance, training was provided. Business planning from manual templates was transformed into digital templates using Google Workspace devices, whose documents were stored in the cloud and accessed via Google Drive, utilizing QR codes for MSME users. The digitalization of business planning is expected to further assist MSMEs in increasing the effectiveness of technology use and enhancing business innovation capabilities
