Abstract

Learning at school requires improvement or renewal so that the learning process becomes more interesting and not monotonous, because students need a comfortable learning atmosphere so that they can easily understand the material delivered by the teacher through existing learning conversations. With this innovative learning strategy, the learning atmosphere becomes more pleasant and can increase student learning motivation. This article explains and provides an overview of innovative learning strategies for Tharaha learning materials. These innovative learnings include Unclean, Hadast (major, medium, small) and the ordinances of ablution, tayammum and compulsory bathing. Thaharah learning with innovative learning strategies through games, videos and exercises that help students better understand what is being learned and can increase interest in learning. The purpose of this innovative learning method is for students to feel comfortable and happy in learning, but not neglecting the most important learning material that can be learned in everyday life and practiced. Another goal of this innovative strategy is as a learning reform aimed at attracting students' attention.

Abstract

Community service is an implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education aimed at enhancing students’ social awareness and sensitivity toward their surroundings. Conducted by students of the Faculty of Islamic Studies (FAI) at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta through direct engagement with local communities, this program applies a participatory approach involving four stages: observation, planning, implementation, and evaluation–reflection. The results show that student participation effectively fosters social consciousness by strengthening empathy, concern, and social responsibility. Moreover, the program reinforces relationships between students and the community across the fields of education, economics, and health while internalizing Islamic values that help shape moral, empathetic, and integrity-driven character.

Abstract

Kesadaran kebersihan di pesantren merupakan faktor penting dalam pembentukan karakter santri, namun sering terabaikan dalam praktik sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kesadaran kebersihan santri, faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi, dan peran pengasuh serta guru di Pondok Pesantren Rumah Setia Putra Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik purposive sampling pada mudir pondok, satu ustadz pendamping, dan dua santri sebagai informan utama. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis tematik mengidentifikasi tiga tema utama: "kebiasaan kebersihan rutin," "ketergantungan pada pengawasan eksternal," dan "faktor lingkungan pesantren." Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesadaran kebersihan santri meningkat, namun masih bergantung pada pengawasan eksternal. Faktor yang memengaruhi perilaku kebersihan santri antara lain pengaruh keluarga, pendidikan agama, dan keteladanan guru. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan program pembinaan berbasis nilai-nilai Islam serta sistem keteladanan yang konsisten untuk menumbuhkan budaya kebersihan dan disiplin di lingkungan pesantren.
