Abstract

Abstract

Abstract: Working in rubber factories exposes personnel to a cocktail of airborne contaminants—hydrogen sulfide, organic solvents, and fine dust—that jeopardise health over the long term. A key pathological response to such pollution is the upsurge in reactive oxygen species (ROS), which drives oxidative stress and underlies injury to cells, tissues, and organ systems. The present review compiles biomarker and mechanistic data showing how encounters with factory fumes correlate with elevated ROS levels in exposed workers. Cross-sectional surveys and laboratory experiments consistently report raised indicators such as malondialdehyde (MDA) and 8-hydroxy-2-deoxyguanosine (8-OHdG), establishing a robust link between airborne toxins and molecular damage. Genetic variants that weaken antioxidant enzymes further shape individual risk, reminding us that not every worker faces the same burden even under identical exposure conditions. Consequences typically affect the respiratory tract, heart, and metabolic pathways, reinforcing calls for stronger engineering controls, personal monitoring, and health surveillance in the plant. Early trials of antioxidant supplements show promise for damping ROS pathways, yet the field still lacks evidence-based protocols that tailor interventions to sources and dosages of pollution. By clarifying these oxidative processes, the review aims to guide regulators and industry managers in crafting rules that truly protect workers' lives and livelihoods

Abstract

Abstract

based totally on an preliminary survey carried out through researchers, the range of patients inside the IVI Inpatient Room changed into 25 human beings with case managers who had schooling and JASMINE as many as 25 humans with case managers who had not had training. With BPJS status in 2022 (January- September). based totally on information taken from medical facts, certainly one of them is dissatisfaction with the services of nurses and medical doctors and different case managers for the services of inpatients. This research is expected to help optimize the function of case managers as coordinators of nursing services. Hospitals want a layout or approach so that it will carry out a non-stop provider process. One such version of care is the case manager. Case managers who're generally responsible for the coordination and continuity of affected person care while in health facility. The pattern used became Non- chance sampling with saturated sampling technique (census) which was executed in patients in room IVI as the Intervention institution of 25 humans and the JASMINE room as the manage organization of 25 human beings which changed into carried out in December 2023 to February 2023. As for The consequences acquired from this study are that there's an impact of Case supervisor training on affected person pride in the inner Inpatient Room at Sembiring hospital in 2023, each of which has a p- value of 0.001 zero.05 within the Tangibles, Empathy, Reliability, Responsiveness, assurance categories. the results of the Manova check additionally show a significance fee of 0.001 <0.05, so it may be concluded that there is an effect of case manager schooling on affected person delight within the Rau Sembiring Internist Inpatient Room in 2023.

Abstract

Background: Pumpkin (Cucurbita moschata) is one type of plant that is widely consumed by the people of Indonesia. In addition, pumpkin is often found in traditional markets and supermarkets. Pumpkin contains nutrients that are beneficial to the human body, including -carotene, which is a carotenoid compound. Beta carotene is a provitamin A, it is very useful as an antioxidant, boosting the immune system and treating various diseases. Beta carotene is unstable, especially at high temperatures. Objective: This study aims to determine how pumpkin processing can affect beta carotene levels with the analytical Method: methods used, namely qualitative with Thin Layer Chromatography and quantitative with UV-Vis Spectrophotometry with a wavelength of 448 nm. Result: The results of the qualitative analysis of the positive samples contained beta-carotene compounds. Quantitative results of beta carotene levels of raw yellow pumpkin 34.1849 mg/g, quantitative results of beta carotene levels of steamed pumpkin 29.5544 mg/g, and quantitative results of beta carotene levels of boiled yellow pumpkin 18.0759 mg/g. The results of the validity test obtained linearity r = 0.9997, raw pumpkin filtrate RSD 0.4686%, and steamed pumpkin filtrate 0.6158%, and boiled pumpkin filtrate 3.1446%, raw pumpkin filtrate recovery 103.19% , steamed pumpkin filtrate 101.77%, and boiled pumpkin filtrate 105.27%, LOD 2.5633 and LOQ 7.676 . The results of SPSS analysis with ONE WAY ANOVA statistics showed that p = 0.000 (p <0.05), and this indicated that there was an effect of processing on beta carotene levels on the average beta carotene levels in pumpkin. And Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that UV-Vis Spectrophotometry can be used to determine the beta carotene content of pumpkin (Cucurbita moschata).
