Abstract

Islamic legal thought undergoes dynamic development from the classical to the contemporary era, influenced by social, political, and cultural changes. This study aims to analyse and compare the Islamic legal thought of classical figures, such as Imam Abu Hanifah, Imam Malik, Imam al-Shafi'i, and Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal, with the thoughts of contemporary figures, such as Muhammad Abduh, Rashid Rida, Fazlur Rahman, and Abdullahi Ahmed An-Na'im, in facing modern legal challenges. This research uses a qualitative method with a historical-comparative approach to identify the transformation of Islamic legal thought and its relevance in contemporary legal practice. The results show that classical thought is more oriented towards sharia texts with a systematic methodology of legal istinbath based on ijma', qiyas, and istihsan, while contemporary thought emphasises the reinterpretation of Islamic law through ijtihad, maqasid sharia, and contextualisation of legal norms to remain relevant in modern social dynamics. This study contributes to providing a more comprehensive perspective on the evolution of Islamic law and its implications for the formation of Islamic legal policies in the modern era.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the influence of education and training on the performance of employees of the Secretariat of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) of Barru Regency. The analysis method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis, T test, F test, correlation analysis and determination. The results of the study indicate that the hypothesis of Education on Employee Performance is accepted on the basis of the calculated T value of 2.516 which is greater than the T table value of 1.7340. In addition, the hypothesis of Training on Employee Performance is accepted on the basis of the calculated T value of 2.628 which is greater than the T table value of 1.7340. The results of the F test calculation show that Education and Training have a simultaneous effect on Employee Performance on the basis of the calculated F value of 14.789 which is greater than the F table value of 3.55. Then the results of the correlation coefficient test show that Education and Training on employee performance have a strong relationship, then based on the results of the determination test it shows that the contribution of Education and Training is 58% to the Employee Performance variable.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan otoriter dan kepemimpinan demokratis terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai instansi pemerintahan lingkup Kota Makassar. Fenomena ini penting dikaji mengingat gaya kepemimpinan memiliki peran sentral dalam membentuk iklim kerja yang berdampak pada motivasi dan kepuasan pegawai. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan sampel sebanyak 121 karyawan yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala Likert dan dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, uji t parsial, serta uji koefisien determinasi (R²). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel independen, yaitu kepemimpinan otoriter dan kepemimpinan demokratis, berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai. Kepemimpinan otoriter berkontribusi pada kepuasan kerja melalui ketegasan dan kejelasan instruksi, sedangkan kepemimpinan demokratis memberikan pengaruh yang lebih kuat dengan melibatkan pegawai dalam pengambilan keputusan, membangun komunikasi dua arah, serta memberikan dukungan. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,855 mengindikasikan bahwa 85,5% variasi kepuasan kerja dapat dijelaskan oleh kedua gaya kepemimpinan tersebut, sementara sisanya 14,5% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar     penelitian ini. Kesimpulan penelitian menegaskan bahwa kepemimpinan demokratis lebih efektif dibandingkan kepemimpinan otoriter dalam meningkatkan kepuasan kerja, meskipun dalam konteks birokrasi pemerintahan gaya otoriter tetap relevan untuk menjaga kedisiplinan dan kepastian kerja. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya kombinasi kepemimpinan yang adaptif, yaitu memadukan ketegasan otoriter dengan partisipasi demokratis, agar tercipta lingkungan kerja yang kondusif dan memuaskan bagi pegawai.

Abstract

The Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI) is a legal entity that emerged based on the need for a legal basis and reference for Muslims, especially for judges in the Religious Courts in Indonesia in deciding a case. The presence of the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI), makes it easier for judges to make decisions, and these decisions become jurisprudence within the Indonesian Religious Courts. Before the presence of the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI), judges took references from various classical books scattered across various schools of thought (Safi`I, Maliki, Hanafi, Hambali), so it is not uncommon for different decisions to occur in the same case. The Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI), although not yet equivalent to the Law, has received quite a positive response in meeting basic legal needs, especially in the fields of marriage, inheritance, zakat and wills in Indonesia. This article was written using the library research method, by looking at various books and literature and used as references. In this conclusion, it mentions history, matters regarding the Compilation of Islamic Law up to its position in the legal system and legislation in Indonesia.

Abstract

Instilling the values ​​of monotheism from an early age is an important aspect in the formation of children's character and morals. One method that can be used in the learning process is the group discussion method. This method provides an opportunity for children to actively participate, develop understanding, and strengthen the concept of monotheism through interaction with peers and educators. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the group discussion method in efforts to instill the values ​​of monotheism in early childhood at RA Az-Zahra. The research approach used is qualitative with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study were teachers and students at RA Az-Zahra. The results of the study showed that the group discussion method was effective in improving children's understanding of the concept of monotheism, such as knowing Allah as God Almighty, understanding His greatness through His creations, and instilling an attitude of gratitude and prayer. Group discussions allow children to express their thoughts, listen to the opinions of their friends, and gain a deeper understanding through concrete examples given by the teacher. In addition, this method also helps in building children's self-confidence and improving their communication skills. However, the effectiveness of this method is highly dependent on the active role of the teacher in guiding the discussion and creating a conducive and enjoyable learning environment for children. Thus, the group discussion method can be used as one of the effective learning strategies in instilling the values ​​of monotheism in early childhood. The implication of this study is the importance of improving teacher skills in managing group discussions and developing learning materials that are appropriate to the child's developmental stage. It is hoped that this method can continue to be applied and developed in Islamic religious learning at the early childhood education level.
