Abstract

Herbal plants Herbal plants in Indonesia have an important role in traditional medicine and public health. The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness and mechanism of action of curcumin in chronic inflammatory therapy. This study employs the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology.. This study uses a database from Scopus of 9 Scopus articles from the range of 2020 to 2025. There are three stages carried out in mapping the effectiveness and mechanism of action of curcumin in chronic inflammatory therapy, namely data harvesting, screening data and Data Analysis and Visualization. The results obtained are that curcumin is effective in chronic inflammatory therapy by inhibiting the main inflammatory pathways (NF-ƙB and JAK/STAT), has antioxidant effects, accelerates tissue regeneration, and functions as an immunomodulator. However, the limited bioavailability of curcumin presents a significant challenge in its application. Nanoformulation technology and its combination with compounds like CMPs can enhance its effectiveness in clinical therapy. The implications of this research are directed to researchers, the community and the government

Abstract

The transformation of customary law in the digital era faces complex dynamics in the archipelago, where information and communication technology acts as a catalyst for change in various aspects of social and legal life. This article explores how digital advances affect customary law practices and cultural identities in Indonesia, and analyzes the opportunities and challenges that arise from the integration of technology into customary law systems. Using a qualitative approach, this article examines several cases across the archipelago to illustrate how digital technologies such as web-based applications, data management systems, and social media platforms are accelerating the process of customary law transformation. These transformations include the digitization of customary law administration, increased transparency in dispute resolution, and the potential for the preservation and promotion of local culture globally. However, the use of technology also poses significant challenges, such as the risk of loss of cultural authenticity, shifting traditional values, and unequal access to technology in more remote indigenous communities. This article also discusses how a culturally sensitive and inclusive approach can help address these challenges, by providing recommendations for policies and practices that support equitable and effective technology integration. The results of this study show that while digital technology offers opportunities to strengthen and develop customary law, it is important to pay attention to its impact on the social and cultural structures of indigenous communities. A holistic and participatory approach will be key to ensuring that the transformation of customary law in the digital era goes hand in hand with the preservation of cultural values and community rights.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the complex relationship between deforestation, national development policies, and forest governance challenges in Indonesia. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach through literature review and policy analysis, the research reveals that Indonesia’s development model largely driven by extractive industries such as palm oil, mining, and logging has significantly contributed to the ongoing loss of tropical forest cover. The findings indicate that poor institutional coordination, overlapping regulations, tenure conflicts, and limited community participation are key barriers to achieving sustainable and equitable forest management. Moreover, while programs such as social forestry and customary forest recognition have shown potential in reducing deforestation, their effectiveness depends heavily on legal clarity, local institutional capacity, and consistent support from government stakeholders. This study emphasizes the urgent need for structural reform in forest policy, enhancement of local governance capacity, and multi-stakeholder collaboration to balance economic development with environmental conservation and social justice.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of fintech on the adoption rate of digital financial services in Indonesia. In recent years, the development of financial technology (fintech) has brought significant changes to the financial system, particularly in terms of accessibility, efficiency, and convenience of financial services for the public. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving several respondents who are users of fintech services, and the data were analyzed using SPSS software to examine the relationships between variables. The findings reveal that ease of use, trust in the platform, and service innovation have a significant and positive influence on the adoption rate of digital financial services. On the other hand, cost efficiency is not a primary factor, although it still contributes to users' decision-making. Financial and digital literacy also support adoption, although they are not dominant variables. The study concludes that to enhance the widespread adoption of fintech, an integrated effort is needed through education, improved system security, and the development of features tailored to local needs. These findings are expected to serve as input for fintech developers, regulators, and other stakeholders in building an inclusive and sustainable digital financial ecosystem.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of fast food consumption on the risk of obesity in school children using a qualitative approach through literature studies. Data were obtained from various scientific publications, reports from international health organizations, and relevant national journals in the last five years. The results of the analysis show that the frequency of fast food consumption is closely correlated with an increase in body mass index (BMI) and the prevalence of obesity in children. Factors such as exposure to advertising, school environments close to fast food outlets, and family habits play a major role in shaping these consumption patterns. In addition, low physical activity worsens children's nutritional conditions. Effective prevention strategies include interventions in schools through nutrition education and the arrangement of healthy canteens, restrictions on unhealthy food advertisements to children, and city spatial arrangements that limit the presence of fast food outlets around schools. In conclusion, obesity in children due to fast food consumption is a complex problem that requires a cross-sectoral and collaborative approach to create changes in healthier consumption behavior among school children.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of a balanced diet on the nutritional status of adolescents through a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Adolescents are an age group that is vulnerable to nutritional disorders due to biological, psychological, and social changes that affect their eating habits. The results of the study show that a diet that includes balanced nutrition has a direct impact on nutritional status indicators such as Body Mass Index (BMI), hemoglobin levels, and the risk of obesity or anemia. Low nutritional knowledge and environmental influences such as family economy, culture, and school canteens also influence food choices. Nutrition education that is carried out continuously, both through social media and school curriculum, has been shown to increase awareness and behavior of healthy food consumption in adolescents. Thus, the implementation of adolescent nutrition intervention programs must consider a holistic approach that involves family, school, and community. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for formulating strategies to improve adolescent nutrition preventively and sustainably.
