Abstract

Bullying prevention education is important at the elementary school level because teasing, name-calling, exclusion, or physical actions may be perceived by children as ordinary joking. This community service activity aimed to strengthen elementary school students’ awareness of bullying, including its meaning, physical, verbal, social, and cyber forms, impacts, and prevention. The activity was organized by UMRAH's KKN Group 15 on 14 August 2026, targeting students at MIN 2 Bintan, Pangkil Village, Teluk Bintan District, Bintan Regency, Riau Islands Province, involving 62 students from grades I–VI. An educational and participatory approach was implemented through PowerPoint-based material delivery, a short parody video, an oral quiz, and a reflective Hope Tree (Pohon Harapan) activity. Evaluation was descriptive and based on students’ responses, quiz answers, and written reflections. The activity showed that students were able to identify several forms of bullying, distinguish bullying from joking, and mention appropriate actions when witnessing a peer being bullied. The Hope Tree provided an opportunity for students to express expectations for a safe and respectful school environment. Because no pre-test or post-test was administered and the activity lasted one day, the findings are not interpreted as statistical improvement or long-term behavioral change. The activity indicates that visual and audiovisual education combined with reflection can serve as an initial preventive strategy for strengthening students’ awareness of bullying.

Abstract

This study presents a low-cost and scalable multi-channel power data acquisition system for real-time solar photovoltaic (PV) panel monitoring, addressing the limitations of conventional single-channel approaches that provide only aggregate system measurements. The proposed system enables simultaneous per-panel measurement to support detailed performance analysis and improved fault localization. The system is implemented using an ESP32 microcontroller integrated with multiple calibrated INA219 sensors, which are connected via the I²C protocol to measure voltage, current, and electric power. A modular hardware design supports three independent PV channels, while data handling is achieved through dual-mode operation, consisting of local microSD card storage and wireless data transmission to the ThingSpeak IoT platform for real-time visualization. Calibration results demonstrate high measurement accuracy, with average errors below 1%, a voltage root mean square error (RMSE) of less than 0.07 V, and a current RMSE of less than 7 mA. Field testing conducted over two consecutive days confirms stable and uninterrupted operation, achieving 100% data acquisition reliability. The recorded data clearly reveal per-panel performance differences under real operating conditions, enabling effective identification of mismatch behavior among panels. The proposed system provides an affordable, reliable, and scalable solution for distributed PV monitoring, making it suitable for multi-panel and remote photovoltaic installations. Future improvements will involve temperature-based efficiency analysis and the integration of thermal management strategies to enhance photovoltaic performance.

Abstract

The coastal community of Pengujan Village possesses various economic, social, tourism, and cultural potentials that could be further developed. However, their realization faces several challenges, including the uneven status of legal registration for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), limited avenues for promoting local products, and the need to strengthen the transmission of local culture to the younger generation. This initiative aims to analyze community empowerment efforts through the development of MSMEs, the utilization of local assets, product promotion, and cultural preservation in Pengujan Village, Bintan Regency. The project was carried out by Group 16 of the Student Community Service (KKN) program from Raja Ali Haji Maritime University between August 1 and August 31, 2026, employing a participatory approach that included observation, data collection, mentoring, activity implementation, and evaluation. The results indicate that 34 MSMEs were identified; 13 already possessed a Business Identification Number (NIB) prior to the project, 14 successfully obtained their NIB through the provided mentoring, and 7 are currently in the process of registration. Furthermore, an "MSME Showcase" (Gebyar UMKM) was held on August 29, 2026, at Pengujan Beach, featuring five local MSMEs and serving as a platform to promote their products. This event was integrated with a Malay-language singing festival for children, which saw the participation of 10 contestants. Overall, the MSME Showcase was designated as the flagship program, as it successfully integrated MSMEs, the creative economy, marine and fisheries resources, tourism, and local culture into a cohesive series of activities. While the impact on revenue growth could not be quantitatively measured due to the limited duration of the KKN program, the initiative has established a foundation for improving the understanding of business legality, enhancing product promotion, and fostering community participation in developing local potential.
