Abstract

One of the efforts to boost the local economy is the development of villages with innovation based on local wisdom. The discourse to develop an innovative village already exists in Brebes District. This development effort needs to be focused on one village in advance to serve as a model or reference of other villages that will transform into an innovative village. Cilibur Village was chosen to be developed into an innovative village in the field of cultivation and production of essential oil. Based on the analysis that has been done, it was found that to go to the innovative village, Cilibur Village need science and technology such as: Clove plant rejuvenation, process quality control and essential oil products, good and correct essential oil process, separator design oil and water separator, design Rearrange / modify the cooling pool. Based on the analysis of Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) the priority of the proposed strategy to develop Cilibur village as innovative village of cultivation and production of essential oil are: (1) Training and assistance; (2) Provision of seed and equipment assistance; (2) Cooperation with other parties; (4) Dedication of equipment, and (5) Search alternative buyer.

Abstract

One of the efforts to increase economic development is to increase investment activities inall business sectors in Brebes District, infrastructure support that supports investment becomesan important factor to increase investment. The existence of investment profile becomes the maininformation about the potential of investment development through investment in Brebes Regency.The objective of the research is to provide information about the potential of investment inBrebes Regency by region and by economic sector. Providing information on infrastructure andinfrastructure supporting investment in Brebes Regency. Using quantitative descriptive analysis.The results of the research indicate that potential sectors that are potential to be developed inBrebes district potential sectors to be developed include agriculture, forestry and fisheries withhorticultural crops, manufacturing and large and retail trade sectors; car and motorcyclerepairs with onion, chilli, potato, mushroom, carrot, tofu, cracker, salted egg, soft drinks andbottled water.

Abstract

 The tourism sector is one sector that has a multiplier effect on the economic growth of a region.One area that is aware of the importance and strategic of the tourism sector is Brebes Regency.Although it has a lot of potential and interesting, the tourism potential in Brebes has notcontributed Locally-generated revenue (PAD) as expected. Required research that aims to (1)know the impact of tourism development on socio-economic society; (2) to know the impact oftourism development on Locally-generated revenue (PAD) of Brebes Regency; (3) to know thepotential of tourism market; (4) to know the level of tourism visitors absorption and (5) to knowalternative of tourism development strategy in Brebes Regency. Data collection method of thisresearch is through literature study, interview and observation. The results of this study are: (1)For ease of development, Brebes Regency is divided into 3 tourism zones, which is the 1sttourism zone (North Brebes) focusing on marine tourism theme, 2nd tourism zone (CentralBrebes) focusing on adventure tourism and zone 3 (South Brebes) that focus on resting; (2) Tokeep pace, the tourism sector of Brebes Regency must grow exponentially through variousstrategic breakthroughs. Strategic breakthroughs that can be done by Brebes Local Governmentinclude (a) ticket price adjustment, (b) change of manager from Pemda to Perusda or purelyprivate (c) tax imposition on tourism object not managed by local government (d) adding newtourism object with various interesting themes.

Abstract

 Kabupaten Brebes memiliki cakupan peserta KB aktif pada peringkat bawah di Jawa Tengah, yaitu peringkat ke-33 dari 35 kabupaten/kota dengan prosentasi kepersertaan sebesar 68,4%. Atas kondisi tersebut, untuk mengetahui kebijakan yang perlu dilakukan dalam upaya meningkatkan pelayanan dan kesertaan program Keluarga Berencana di Kabupaten Brebes, maka dilakukan kajian tentang Peningkatan Mutu Pelayanan dalam Rangka Peningkatan Kesertaan Program Keluarga Berencana di Kabupaten Brebes. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Brebes yaitu di Kecamatan Wanasari, Kecamatan Brebes, Kecamatan Jatibarang, Kecamatan Songgom, Kecamatan Paguyangan dan Kecamatan Tonjong. Metode pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari: wawancara, observasi, studi pustaka dan Focus Group Discusion (FGD).Analisis data penelitian menggunakan dinamics system thinking (sistem berpikir dinamis) terhadap permasalahan secara kualitatif. Atas pembahasan model system thinking yang digambarkan melalui Causal Loop Diagram (CLD) dan archetypenya, maka disusunlah suatu strategi untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut. Rekomendasi strategi yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kesertaan KB yang pada akhirnya menurunkan laju pertumbuhan penduduk adalah: (1) Meningkatkan frekuensi dan cakupan penyuluhan dan sosialisasi program KB, (2) Bekerjasama dengan para tokoh dan instansi lain, (3) Melakukan inovasi sosialiasi program KB, (4) Memberikan penyuluhan usia ideal menikah dan (5) Meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan KB.

Abstract

Salah satu upaya strategis dalam mendukung pengembangan industri kopi rakyat di Kabupaten Brebes menjadi produk unggulan daerah adalah melalui pengembangan klaster inovasi kopi. Melalui pengembangan klaster inovasi diharapkan secara akan terjadi inovasi primer dan inovasi sekunder pada produk kopi yang pada akhirnya menghasilkan produk yang kompetitif. Untuk mencapai tujuan di atas perlu dilakukan kajian pengembangan klaster inovasi kopi agar menjadi produk unggulan daerah sehingga dapat memberikan kontribusi yang lebih maksimal dalam peningkatan pendapatan petani dan produk domestik regional bruto (PDRB) Kabupaten Brebes dari sektor perkebunan. Kajian dilakukan di semua wilayah Kabupaten Brebes terutama di 4 kecamatan penghasil kopi, yaitu Salem, Bantarawung, Paguyangan dan Sirampog. Metode pengambilan data dengan menggunakan kuisioner, wawancara, observasi serta diskusi kelompok mendalam. Berdasarkan kajian yang dilakukan diperoleh hasil bahwa (a) Budaya inovasi pada petani kopi di Kabupaten Brebes sudah mulai berjalan. (b) Para pelaku bisnis kopi di Brebes kebanyakan belum bisa menyajikan data volume produksi dan penjualannya. (c) Volume produksi sangat penting ditingkatkan karena akan membawa dampak bagi peningkatan kesejahteraan para pelaku bisnis kopi yang ada di Kabupaten Brebes. (d) Inovasi kualitas produk masih terbatas dan didominasi oleh Kecamatan Sirampog, terutama dari daerah Guci Dawuhan. (e) Dalam model pengembangan klaster inovasi, klaster inovasi tersusun atas subklaster yang terdiri dari subklaster petani, subklaster inovasi primer, subklaster inovasi sekunder dan subklaster lain-lain. (f) Dalam mengembangkan klaster inovasi berbasis managemen diperlukan SDM yang memiliki jiwa agen perubahan. (g) Aspek keuangan atau permodalan, pengetahuan dan pemasaran adalah kendala utama yang dirasakan oleh para pelaku usaha dalam menjalankan bisnis proses kopi di Kabupaten Brebes.

Abstract

Gunung Jaya Village, Salem District, there is a Joint Business Group (KUB) "Lulumpang". Previously, the Lulumpang KUB in Gunung Jaya Village, Salem Subdistrict, Brebes Regency carried out the process of peeling cherry coffee manually using mortar and pestle. This process is time-consuming and labor-intensive, resulting in many broken beans. In addition, stripping the dry skin is also still with lumpang-alu, of course this is very time consuming and hampers the production process. "Lulumpang" also does not have an adequate drying room and drying equipment, so if there is an abundance of harvest, they are overwhelmed. Based on some of the problems faced by KUB Lulumpang as a partner, the pengabdi will handle through 3 stages of service that will be carried out in 3 years, namely year 1 focusing on cultivation and post-harvest technology. In this first year, the service program has been carried out in the form of handling post-harvest technology through training and grants of wet skin peeling tools, namely pulper. In the 2nd year, this service focuses on increasing the production and quality of raosted beans. After the General Soedirman University service team conducted counseling and workshops, the roasted bean production capacity increased 5X and group members increasingly understood the importance of quality control and procedures for saving failed products.

Abstract

MSMEs have an important role in supporting Indonesia's national economy so that support for renewing the productivity and competitiveness of MSMEs is needed. This activity was carried out with the aim of increasing the productivity and competitiveness of Bakpao Adi Jaya products located in Bumiayu District, Brebes Regency. The first step taken in increasing productivity is to analyze the partner's production flow to find sources of inefficiency from production activities which will then be renewed by implementing a lean production system. Results indicated that improvements to the production process increased the efficiency of total production time. Thus, the elimination of waste activities in the production flow resulted in an increase in partner productivity.

Abstract

The existence of an upstream fisheries industry in the form of fish farming, the downstream industry in the form of fish processing has enormous potential to be developed. One of the objectives of fish processing is to provide added value to fishery products and as a solution if there is overproduction of fishery products. One of the Crispy Tilapia producers in Bobosan Village that continues to actively process processed fish products is SARMILA SMEs. As time goes by, market demand is getting higher and these SMEs are increasingly overwhelmed because their products are in great demand by the community. In addition to productivity problems, there are weaknesses in business management aspects, especially supply chain management and raw material inventory. The approach offered to overcome these problems was to provide business management training, supply chain management training, and procurement and training on the use of efficient and technologically appropriate production process equipment, such as high-pressure cookers, spinners, and large-capacity pans. With this method, there was an increase in production capacity to 40% or equivalent to 24.5 kg of products or 30.8 kg of raw materials each week from the previous capacity of 17.5 kg of products or 22 kg of raw materials per week.
