Abstract

Pendidikan Agama Islam yang dilaksanakan secara formal (SMA) merupakan upaya membentuk warga negara dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan agama terutama dalam pembentukan karakter. Tujaun utama dari Pendidikan Agama Islam adalah untuk mengembangkan karakter siswa SMA di Desa Mekar Sari Kecamatan Narmada. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan karakter untuk siswa SMA di Desa Mekar Sari dilakukan secara terorganisir melalui perencanaan yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah hingga melibatkan semua guru dan elemen yang ada dilingkungan sekolah, harapannya supaya pengembangan karakter terhadap siswa SMA di Desa Mekar sari bisa memberikan dampak positif bagi siswa di lingkungan sekolah. Kesimpulannya, pelaksanaan penguatan pendidikan karakter berbasis pendidikan agama Islam di SMA Desa Mekar Sari, Kecamatan Narmada telah berjalan dengan baik berkat perencanaan yang matang, pelaksanaan yang terorganisir, serta dukungan dari seluruh elemen sekolah dan masyarakat. Namun, terdapat pula kendala dalam pelaksanaannya, seperti keterbatasan sumber daya dan waktu.

Abstract

Education is a guide in the growth of children, guiding all of their natural abilities so that they, as human beings and members of society, can achieve the highest possible level of safety and happiness. During adolescence, humans cannot be called adults, but they cannot be called children either. Adolescence is a transitional period from childhood to adulthood, marked by various physical, cognitive, and psychosocial changes. Early marriage is a marriage contract conducted at an age below the legal requirement. Law No. 16 of 2019 amending Law No. 1 of 1974 on marriage states that marriage is only permitted if both the man and woman have reached the age of 19. This socialization activity aims to provide students with an understanding of the importance of education and the negative impacts of marriage conducted under the legal age. This outreach program uses lecture, discussion, and question-and-answer methods. Participants in this socialization program were approximately 50 students from grades IX MTS and XII MA, who gathered in one room to actively participate in the socialization. Based on the results of this socialization session, some students were less active in discussions but still followed the event attentively. Meanwhile, some students actively participated both in discussions and in answering questions from the presenter. The students understood the importance of education, knew the legal age for marriage, and were aware of the negative consequences of marrying underage.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of school climate on student learning motivation through a quantitative literature review approach. The quality of education is influenced by non-academic factors, one of which is school climate, which includes students' perceptions of teacher support, relationships between students, fairness, safety, and academic expectations, all of which can foster students' enthusiasm for learning and participation. Student motivation is a key driver of engagement and effectiveness in learning, and students with high motivation tend to have high achievement. The results of the two studies reviewed show a significant positive influence between school climate and student learning motivation. A conducive, supportive and positive school climate can foster intrinsic motivation and increase students' self-efficacy, while motivated students will contribute to a more dynamic and productive school atmosphere. Thus, creating a positive school environment is crucial to improving students' learning motivation and the overall quality of education.
