Abstract

Tradisi Aggalara’ di Kabupaten Jeneponto merupakan salah satu warisan budaya yang kaya akan nilai-nilai spiritual dan sosial. Meski begitu, tradisi ini mengalami sejumlah tantangan signifikan, terutama akibat pengaruh modernisasi dan pergeseran nilai di kalangan generasi muda. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif, menggunakan metode seperti wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan dokumentasi lapangan untuk mengidentifikasi berbagai tantangan dalam melestarikan tradisi Aggalara’. Berdasarkan Analisis Teori Struktural Fungsional AGIL dari Talcott Parsons, hasil penelitian mengungkapkan empat tantangan utama: (1) dominasi budaya populer yang membuat minat generasi muda terhadap budaya lokal semakin menurun, (2) kurangnya regenerasi dalam penurunan nilai-nilai tradisional, (3) pandangan negatif terkait praktik tradisional yang dianggap kuno atau bertentangan dengan keyakinan agama, dan (4) fragmentasi sosial budaya yang menyebabkan pelestarian tradisi ini hanya berlangsung di kalangan terbatas. Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya strategi pelestarian yang berorientasi pada pendidikan budaya, keterlibatan generasi secara lintas umur, dan kolaborasi erat antara para pemangku kepentingan agar tradisi Aggalara’ tetap relevan dan hidup di tengah berbagai perubahan sosial yang berlangsung dinamis.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the management of Village Fund Allocation (ADD) in improving physical development in Pattongko Village, Central Sinjai District, Sinjai Regency. Physical development funded by ADD is expected to be able to improve the quality of village infrastructure, such as roads, irrigation canals, and other public facilities, which has a direct impact on community welfare. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. The informants consisted of village heads, village officials, and local community leaders. The results of the study show that the management of ADD in Pattongko Village has been quite effective, characterized by community participation in the planning and implementation of development. However, there are still several challenges, such as the limited capacity of village officials in administrative management and delays in disbursement of funds. However, the physical development carried out, especially in the agricultural infrastructure sector, has had a positive impact on increasing community accessibility and productivity. This study suggests increasing training for village officials and optimizing the role of the community in supervising development programs.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the role of entrepreneurship education in improving the competence of students of the Office Administration Education Study Program, State University of Makassar. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with interview and observation techniques as a data collection tool. The research participants consisted of students, lecturers in entrepreneurship courses, and alumni who have entered the business world. The main findings of this study show that entrepreneurship education contributes significantly to developing managerial skills, creativity, and independent and innovative attitudes in students. In addition, project-based learning and hands-on practice in the business world have a positive impact on students' readiness to start a business or enter the world of work. In conclusion, entrepreneurship education in the Office Administration Education Study Program, State University of Makassar can improve student competence, especially in terms of practical skills and entrepreneurial attitudes necessary to succeed in the professional world. Therefore, entrepreneurship education needs to continue to be strengthened and adjusted to the needs of the job market and industry.

Abstract

The formation of entrepreneurial character is one of the important focuses in vocational education to prepare students to face the world of work and become independent entrepreneurs. SMKN 1 Gowa as one of the vocational schools in Gowa Regency has implemented various learning strategies to foster entrepreneurial character in students. This study aims to describe and analyze the strategies for forming entrepreneurial character applied at SMKN 1 Gowa. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the strategies applied include project-based learning, direct practice in student business units, and integration of entrepreneurial values in learning activities. This strategy has been proven to be able to foster an independent, creative, responsible, and confident attitude in students. This study recommends that schools continue to strengthen hands-on experience-based entrepreneurial learning practices and increase collaboration with external parties to enrich students' learning experiences.

Abstract

Inclusive education is an approach that aims to ensure access and equity in education for all children, including children with special needs (ABK). However, its implementation at the school level still faces various challenges. This study aims to analyze the role of inclusive education in the empowerment of ABK in Makassar City. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation in several inclusion schools. The results of the study show that inclusive education encourages independence, social participation, and to a limited extent supports the academic potential of ABK. Supporting factors include school commitment, parental support, and cross-sector cooperation. The main obstacles are the limited number of accompanying teachers, lack of training, and social stigma. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that inclusive education has the potential as a tool for empowering ABK, but it still requires systemic strengthening and school culture transformation.

Abstract

UMKM Sambal Pecel Kanaya, sebagai usaha lokal yang bergerak di bidang kuliner, menghadapi tantangan dalam meningkatkan daya saing produknya, baik di pasar lokal maupun digital. Branding yang kuat dan tepat menjadi salah satu kunci untuk memperkenalkan produk kepada konsumen dan memperluas jangkauan pasar. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membantu UMKM Sambal Pecel Kanaya dalam menyusun dan menerapkan strategi branding yang efektif untuk meningkatkan daya saing produk mereka. Mitra pengabdian ini adalah pengelola UMKM Sambal Pecel Kanaya yang memerlukan dukungan dalam hal pengembangan identitas merek dan pemasaran produk secara digital. Metode yang diterapkan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi pelatihan pembuatan identitas merek yang menarik dan konsisten, serta pendampingan dalam penerapan pemasaran digital melalui media sosial dan platform e-commerce. Hasil yang dicapai dari pengabdian ini adalah peningkatan pemahaman tentang pentingnya branding, serta peningkatan citra produk dan keterlibatan konsumen baik di pasar lokal maupun digital. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap pertumbuhan UMKM Sambal Pecel Kanaya, baik dalam segi penjualan maupun pengenalan merek yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Pernikahan dini merupakan praktik yang masih sering terjadi di berbagai wilayah di Indonesia, termasuk Kabupaten Gowa, dan berdampak serius terhadap pemenuhan hak anak, khususnya hak atas pendidikan, kesehatan, dan perlindungan hukum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk perlindungan hak anak terhadap praktik pernikahan dini melalui pendekatan sosio-yuridis di Kabupaten Gowa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan dokumentasi terhadap dokumen hukum dan kebijakan terkait. Informan penelitian terdiri dari pejabat Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak, tokoh masyarakat, orang tua, dan anak yang menjadi korban pernikahan dini. Data dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlindungan hak anak terhadap praktik pernikahan dini dilakukan melalui tiga pendekatan utama: hukum formal, edukatif, dan sosial-kultural. Namun, implementasinya masih terbatas akibat lemahnya penegakan hukum di tingkat desa, resistensi budaya, dan rendahnya literasi masyarakat tentang hak anak. Diperlukan sinergi antara pemerintah, tokoh masyarakat, dan lembaga pendidikan untuk membangun sistem perlindungan anak yang lebih adaptif dan partisipatif. Penelitian ini menyarankan pendekatan yang lebih holistik dan berbasis komunitas untuk menanggulangi praktik pernikahan dini secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Quality public services are the main demands in the implementation of government, especially at the village level as a government unit that deals directly with the community. However, the quality of public services is often still faced with the problem of managing staff personnel that is not optimal. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the management of the personnel of the village apparatus in improving the quality of public services in Mangadu Village, Takalar Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation of village officials and service user communities. The data analysis technique is carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that the management of the personnel of the village apparatus has been implemented, but it has not been fully effective. This is characterized by the limited number of apparatus, the mismatch between the placement of employees and competencies, and the lack of optimal coaching and development of apparatus. This condition has an impact on the quality of public services, especially in terms of speed and timeliness of services. Nevertheless, the attitude of the apparatus and the disclosure of service information are considered quite good by the public. This research contributes to the development of public administration science by strengthening the understanding of the importance of effective personnel management as a determining factor for improving the quality of public services at the village government level.

Abstract

Social conflict is a phenomenon that often occurs in people's lives due to differences in interests, values, perceptions, and ineffective communication. If not managed properly, social conflicts have the potential to cause prolonged tensions and disrupt community harmony. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of empathic communication as a social conflict resolution strategy in Sombalabella Village, Takalar Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The data collection technique was carried out through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation of village officials, community leaders, and residents involved in the process of resolving social conflicts. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman interactive model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that empathic communication applied through an attitude of listening, understanding the feelings and viewpoints of the conflicting parties, and open dialogue is able to reduce tension and encourage the achievement of mutual agreement. The effectiveness of empathic communication is supported by the active role of village officials and community leaders as well as a strong deliberation culture, although there are still obstacles in the form of limited communication skills and the emotional condition of the conflicting parties. This research contributes to the development of social communication science by emphasizing the importance of empathic communication as a humanist and participatory approach in the resolution of social conflicts at the local community level.

Abstract

Kepala desa memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk kualitas pelayanan publik di tingkat desa, termasuk dalam hal meningkatkan etos kerja perangkat desa. Etos kerja yang tinggi sangat diperlukan untuk menciptakan tata kelola pemerintahan desa yang efektif, transparan, dan bertanggung jawab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kepala desa dalam meningkatkan etos kerja perangkat desa di Desa Bulu Kamase, Kecamatan Sinjai Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala desa dan perangkat desa sebagai informan kunci. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala desa berperan aktif dalam membentuk etos kerja yang positif melalui gaya kepemimpinan partisipatif, pembinaan rutin, pemberian motivasi, serta pengawasan langsung terhadap pelaksanaan tugas. Lingkungan kerja yang kondusif, sistem pembagian tugas yang jelas, dan apresiasi terhadap kinerja juga menjadi faktor pendukung dalam peningkatan semangat dan tanggung jawab kerja perangkat desa. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adalah agar kepala desa terus mengembangkan kompetensi kepemimpinan yang responsif dan humanis, memperkuat sistem manajemen sumber daya manusia, serta mendorong partisipasi aktif seluruh perangkat dalam pembangunan desa. Dukungan pelatihan dan pengawasan dari pemerintah daerah juga diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas aparatur desa secara berkelanjutan.   The village head plays a strategic role in shaping the quality of public services at the village level, including in improving the work ethic of village officials. A strong work ethic is essential for creating effective, transparent, and accountable village governance. This study aims to analyze the role of the village head in improving the work ethic of village officials in Bulu Kamase Village, South Sinjai District. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research subjects included the village head and village officials as key informants. The results show that the village head plays an active role in shaping a positive work ethic through a participatory leadership style, regular coaching, motivation, and direct supervision of task implementation. A conducive work environment, a clear task division system, and appreciation for performance are also supporting factors in improving the work enthusiasm and responsibility of village officials. The recommendations from this study are for the village head to continue developing responsive and humanistic leadership competencies, strengthening the human resource management system, and encouraging the active participation of all officials in village development. Training and supervision support from the local government are also needed to continuously improve the capacity of village officials.
