Abstract

This research study aims to analyze the similarities and differences in the storyline in the drama scripts Amplop-amplop Laknat by Asmudin and Penyesalan by Nora Adeliana. This study uses a qualitative approach using the content analysis method with a network analysis technique that includes three components, namely: 1. data reduction; simplifying the drama script, 2. data presentation; conducting structural analysis of the drama script, and 3. withdrawal; drawing conclusions about the plot and presentation of the plot in the drama script using a comparative study. The data collection method is carried out using the literature observation technique. The collected data are analyzed using a structural study of the work's intrinsic elements to be studied more deeply using a comparative study of the storyline. The study results show that both drama scripts have similarities in terms of story ideas and differences in terms of the presentation of the storyline. The benefits of this study are that it will help gain a deep understanding of the structure of the script text and increase the knowledge of structural reviews in comparative studies on the plot and presentation of the plot of drama scripts.

Abstract

Dalam sastra, politik adalah cara untuk mengatakan apa yang sebenarnya terjadi pada masa lalu. Fakta dapat dipublikasikan dalam bentuk tulisan, seperti novel. Novel Eka Kurniawan "Cantik Itu Luka" menggabungkan elemen romansa, sosial, dan politik. Buku Cantik Itu Luka menggambarkan sejarah perpolitikan Indonesia dengan benar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan hal ini. Politik adalah upaya untuk menetapkan peraturan yang dapat diterima oleh sebagian besar warga untuk membawa masyarakat ke arah kehidupan bersama yang harmonis, menurut Miriam Budiarjo (2008: 15). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini menemukan kata-kata, kalimat, dan paragraf dalam buku Cantik Itu Luka yang mengandung elemen sejarah politik. Selain itu, studi ini berfokus pada sejarah politik di masa kolonial hingga pascakemerdekaan serta masa pemberontakan PKI.  Kata Kunci: Sejarah politik, Kolonial, PKI.

Abstract

Studi ini berfokus pada unsur teks naskah lakon karya Samuel Becket Waiting for Godot dan proses alih wahana dari naskah tersebut ke bentuk pementasan teater Waiting for Godot sutradara Choki Lumban Gaol berdasarkan kajian intrinsik dan alih wahana sebuah naskah drama/lakom. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis unsur teks dalam naskah drama Samuel Becket Waiting for Godot serta proses transformasi atau alih wahan dari naskah drama. Analisis isi dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis jalinan atau mengalir. Model analisis jalinan atau mengalir terdiri dari tiga bagian: reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Kajian intrinsik dan konsep alih wahana, yaitu analisis proses transformasi dari naskah drama ke dalam pertunjukan teater, digunakan untuk menganalisis data yang terkumpul. Hasil penelitan menunjukkan bahwa elemen teks dalam naskah drama dan pementasan teater berubah dan diubah. Selain itu, dalam proses alih wahana, narasi diubah menjadi dialog, bahasa diubah, dan latar tempat dikurangi. Sebuah pemahaman baru tentang bagaimana naskah drama berubah menjadi pementasan teater diberikan melalui penerapan teknik alih wahana.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah metode design thinking berbantuan media smart box dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks pidato siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Caringin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-eksperimen, yang membandingkan dua kelompok yang dipilih secara tidak acak. Semua siswa kelas VIII masuk kedalam populasi penelitian. Sampel dipilih secara sengaja (purposive sampling), yaitu kelas VIII-9 sebagai kelompok eksperimen (32 siswa) dan VIII-10 sebagai kelompok kontrol (32 siswa). Data dikumpulkan melalui tes awal (pretest), tes akhir (posttest), dan observasi. Hasil uji statistik dengan independent t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi <0,001, lebih kecil dari 0,05, yang menunjukkan ada perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok. Selain itu, uji N-Gain menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan menulis teks pidato dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,68 setelah penerapan metode design thinking berbantuan smart box. Abstract

Abstrak: Kehidupan sosial masyarakat kerap kali berada di bawah pengaruh kekuasaan hegemonik yang tidak hanya hadir dalam Lembaga resmi seperti pemerintahan, tetapi juga melalui budaya, agama, dan tradisi yang menuntut kepatuhan individu terhadap norma-norma dominan. Ketegangan antara kehendak pribadi dan tekanan sosial melahirkan berbagai bentuk resistensi, baik terbuka maupun tersembunyi. Sastra sebagai refleksi realitas sosial hadir sebagai medium ekspresif yang merekam dan merespons kondisi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap bentuk-bentuk resistensi terhadap hegemoni kekuasaan dalam novel Ajaklah Tuhan ke Tanah Jawa karya Sekar Ayu Asmara dengan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui studi pustaka dan analisis data interaktif Miles & Huberman. Hasil kajian menunjukkan adanya dua bentuk resistensi: (1) resistensi terbuka, seperti pemberontakan terhadap penindasan spiritual dan kemanusiaan, perlawanan perempuan terhadap kekerasan seksual, dan pembangkangan terhadap penjajah kolonial; serta (2) resistensi tertutup, yang meliputi simbolisasi seni sebagai perlawanan, penolakan mental dan spiritual terhadap dominasi kekuasaan, kepatuhan semu terhadap norma sosial, dan kesadaran kritis terhadap ideologi penjajah. Penelitian ini bermanfaat memperkaya pemahaman bahwa sastra merupakan ruang simbolik yang efektif dalam menyuarakan kritik sosial terhadap kekuasaan yang menindas.Kata kunci: resistensi, hegemoni kekuasaan, sosiologi sastra, novel Abstract:Social life is often influenced by hegemonic power, which is not only present in official institutions such as government, but also through culture, religion, and traditions that demand individual compliance with dominant norms. The tension between personal will and social pressure gives rise to various forms of resistance, both overt and covert. Literature, as a reflection of social reality, serves as an expressive medium that records and responds to such conditions. This study aims to uncover forms of resistance to hegemonic power in the novel Ajaklah Tuhan ke Tanah Jawa (Invite God to Java) by Sekar Ayu Asmara using a sociological approach to literature. The method used is descriptive qualitative through literature study and Miles & Huberman's interactive data analysis. The results of the study show two forms of resistance: (1) open resistance, such as rebellion against spiritual and humanitarian oppression, women's resistance to sexual violence, and defiance against colonial oppressors; and (2) closed resistance, which includes the symbolisation of art as resistance, mental and spiritual rejection of power domination, pseudo-compliance with social norms, and critical awareness of colonial ideology. This research enriches our understanding that literature is not merely an aesthetic product, but an effective symbolic space for voicing social criticism against oppressive power. Keyword: resistance, power hegemony, literary sociology, novel

Abstract

This study aims to explore how curriculum components can be the key in creating more appropriate literature learning at SMAN 1 Cikarang Utara using the Merdeka curriculum. Using a qualitative approach, this study investigates how curriculum elements such as learning objectives, lesson content, teaching methods, and evaluation are implemented in the daily context of the teaching and learning process. The results of the study indicate that the main factor in achieving adaptive learning is the ability to choose flexible learning methods and implement assessments that are tailored to the needs of each student. This study provides recommendations for schools to improve the quality of local literature learning that can be adjusted to the individual needs of each student. Abstract

The low level of students' response writing skills indicates a gap between the demands of the Merdeka Curriculum and the practice of Indonesian language learning in junior high schools. This study aims to test the effectiveness of the Genre-Based model assisted by selected short stories from Kompas 2021 in improving the response writing skills of seventh-grade students at public junior high schools in Jakarta. The method used was an experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design involving two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class, each consisting of 30 students. Data were obtained through a response text writing test assessed based on seven assessment indicators, then analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, independent t-tests, and N-Gain. The results showed an increase in the average score of the experimental class from 58.70 to 84.57, while the control class increased from 57.43 to 68.87, with N-Gain scores of 63.28% (sufficiently effective category) and 25.39% (ineffective category), respectively. The t-test showed a significant difference between the two classes (Sig. < 0.05), so it can be concluded that the application of the Genre-Based model assisted by selected short stories from Kompas 2021 is effective in improving the response text writing skills of seventh-grade students at public junior high schools in Jakarta.

Abstract

Low literacy levels in schools have a significant impact on students' difficulties in expressing ideas through speech writing . This study aims to measure the effectiveness of the YouTube-assisted “Copy the Master” method on speech writing skills. Using a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest pattern, the research involved 60 eighth-grade students divided into experimental and control classes . Data were collected through tests and observations, then analyzed using the N-Gain test and Independent Sample T-test . The results showed that the experimental class achieved an N-Gain value of 57.16 (moderately effective), significantly outperforming the control class, which scored 24.47 (ineffective). Statistical tests confirmed a significant difference with a p-value < 0.01. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of expert modeling with audiovisual media, which helps students fully understand structure and linguistic style . It is concluded that this method serves as an effective alternative for improving writing competence in the digital era.
