Abstract

This research investigates technology integration in Islamic boarding school education at the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School Blokagung, Banyuwangi. The aim is to understand the implementation of social media for da'wah and education, technology-based assessment systems, and library digitalization in the context of Islamic boarding schools. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study at the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School, Blokagung, involving teaching staff, Islamic boarding school managers and students as the main informants. Data collection techniques will be collected through interviews and participatory observation in daily activities at the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School Blokagung. The research results show that integrating technology with traditional values ​​can improve the quality of education and expand the positive impact of Islamic education in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This study highlights the importance of strengthening the role of teachers in curriculum management reform through a transformational leadership approach at MA Darussalam. The aim of the research is to conduct an in-depth analysis of strategies for empowering teachers within the context of curriculum reform, enabling them to become not only implementers but also designers and drivers of instructional change. A qualitative approach was employed, using a case study method to contextually understand the dynamics of leadership and teacher participation in curriculum management. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, with purposive sampling of informants consisting of the school principal, the vice principal of curriculum affairs, and teachers from various subject areas. Data analysis was conducted thematically to identify patterns of roles, collaboration, and the influence of leadership on enhancing teacher participation. The findings reveal that participatory transformational leadership encourages active teacher involvement in curriculum development, enhances professional motivation, and fosters a learning ecosystem that is more adaptive and responsive to the socio-religious context of the madrasah. The study recommends the implementation of a leadership model based on collaboration and reflection as a sustainable and relevant strategy for curriculum reform in pesantren based madrasahs.

Abstract

Strategi Kepala Madrasah merupakan faktor penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan peningkatan budaya religius madrasah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan strategi kepala madrasah mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengawasan dan kendala dalam membangun budaya religius. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui Observasi, Wawancara dan Studi Dokumentasi. Prosedur analisis data adalah Reduksi Data, Data, dan Verifikasi. Sedangkan subjek penelitiannya adalah Kepala Madrasah, Wakil Kepala Madrasah, Guru, dan Peserta Didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Strategi kepala madrasah dalam mengembangkan budaya religius (2) Kendala yang dihadapi kepala madrasah dalam membangun budaya religius di madrasah, kondisi guru di madrasah namun masih terkendala oleh tenaga pendidik, kurangnya tenaga ahli, sedangkan kondisi lingkungan siswa juga mempengaruhi siswa yang baru berkembang, padahal pihak lembaga sendiri telah memaksimalkan pembelajaran ekstrakurikuler dan kebutuhan lainnya, sehingga pengembangan budaya religius di MTs Al-Huda Sukorejo Banyuwangi.
