Abstract

Abstract

This paper examines social media-based public relations strategies in the development of SMK Nurul Jadid to increase student participation. Driven by the challenges of low enrollment and lack of school visibility, this paper aims to analyze the implementation of public relations strategies through digital platforms, their impact on increasing student enrollment, and the role of social media in enhancing student engagement. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with school officials, participant observation of the school's social media activity, and social media content analysis. The results indicate that SMK Nurul Jadid utilizes Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok to build a positive image, attract prospective students, and collaborate with stakeholders. Published content focuses on school activities, student achievements, and available facilities. However, this paper identifies challenges in consistent content creation due to limited resources. The implications of this paper emphasize the importance of a structured social media management program, training the management team, using alumni testimonials, and regular evaluations. This paper concludes that social media-based public relations strategies have significant potential to increase student participation and strengthen the school's branding, but require more structured and consistent management.

Abstract

This study aims to explore effective Public Relations (PR) strategies in building and maintaining a positive image of Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Jadid in the public eye. With a qualitative approach and a case study design, this study employed participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation to collect data. The results indicate that the PR strategies implemented by Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Jadid involve digitalization, alumni networking, and community activities. Digitalization increases interaction and strengthens relationships with audiences, while alumni networking supports reputation and saves resources. Community activities are important for building emotional closeness with the surrounding community. Although challenges in terms of consistency, adequate resources, and innovation remain, the combination of digital and physical strategies, along with transparent documentation, has a positive impact on the madrasah's image. This study recommends that madrasahs continue to balance digital approaches with physical activities to remain relevant and increase public trust.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the inhibiting factors in implementing adaptive curricula within inclusive Islamic education in Indonesia. The focus is to identify challenges faced by Islamic educational institutions in accommodating students with special needs. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation at several institutions. The findings reveal five main obstacles: limited resources, lack of teacher training, insufficient parental support, inadequate infrastructure, and misalignment between the curriculum and students’ needs. These factors significantly hinder the effectiveness of adaptive curriculum implementation. The study recommends improving teacher training quality, providing sufficient resources, and developing a more flexible and inclusive curriculum. These efforts are expected to contribute to the advancement of more inclusive and high-quality Islamic education that is responsive to the diversity of learners.
