Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam yang terkandung dalam tradisi pantun Melayu. Inti permasalahan yang dikemukakan adalah bagaimana pantun, sebagai bagian dari tradisi lisan masyarakat Melayu, berfungsi sebagai sarana pendidikan yang tidak terlepas dari konteks ajaran Islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi literatur dan observasi lapangan di beberapa komunitas Melayu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pantun Melayu mengandung nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam yang tinggi, seperti nasihat moral, ajaran tentang keimanan kepada Allah, serta panduan hidup yang sesuai dengan etika Islami. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pantun tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai hiburan, tetapi juga sebagai media dakwah dan pendidikan yang efektif, memperkuat hubungan antara budaya lokal dan nilai-nilai keislaman.

Abstract

Teaching and learning activities are interactions that have educational value. In it, there is an educational interaction between teachers and students, when teachers deliver lessons to students in class. The learning materials that teachers provide will provide less encouragement (motivation) to students if the delivery uses inappropriate strategies. The learning process in class seems too rigid and less enjoyable, this also makes the lesson less meaningful, because mastery of the amount of material does not necessarily guarantee understanding of the material they have mastered. Student motivation in learning is very important and is the basis for students to achieve the expected learning competencies. The research methodology used in this study is descriptive qualitative research using the library research method. With the Role Playing Method, students can play an absolute part in the development of social human life. Role playing is often intended as a form of activity where learners imagine themselves as if they were outside the classroom and play the role of others. So that students can directly feel the situation and conditions in their surroundings. So, the Role Playing method can increase student motivation and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Aqidah tauhid serves as the fundamental foundation in shaping a strong Islamic character rooted in faith-based values. Within the context of Malay society, tauhid is not a standalone concept but is closely intertwined with local cultural values such as politeness, respect for elders, and social responsibility. Rich in local wisdom, Malay culture holds great potential as a medium for internalizing tauhid values among the younger generation. Islamic education that combines aqidah teachings with cultural approaches is considered more effective, as it engages both the emotional and social aspects of students. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach through literature review of relevant scientific articles. The findings reveal that the synergy between aqidah tauhid and Malay culture strengthens the development of religious, honest, and noble character in students. The local cultural context helps learners to understand Islamic values in a more grounded and relatable manner. Culturally-based education not only preserves cultural identity but also serves as an effective means of instilling sustainable spiritual values.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberantas buta aksara Al-Qur’an melalui pelaksanaan program “Pendampingan Intensif Maghrib Mengaji” di Rumah Tahfiz Ar-Raudah, Desa Ulupulau, Kecamatan Bantan, Kabupaten Bengkalis. Program ini dirancang secara partisipatif dengan melibatkan anak-anak, orang tua, dan guru ngaji sebagai subjek utama dalam proses pemberdayaan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara rutin setiap hari setelah maghrib, memanfaatkan waktu berkumpulnya keluarga untuk menciptakan suasana belajar yang kondusif. Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah metode Iqra’ untuk memperkenalkan huruf hijaiyah, makhraj, dan tajwid secara bertahap, serta penguatan tajwid yang dijadwalkan khusus setiap malam Rabu. Selain itu, monitoring dan evaluasi dilakukan secara berkala untuk mendokumentasikan perkembangan peserta dan menyesuaikan strategi pembelajaran sesuai kebutuhan individu. Hasil pelaksanaan program selama tiga bulan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan baca tulis Al-Qur’an peserta, khususnya dalam penguasaan huruf hijaiyah dan dasar-dasar tajwid. Program ini juga berhasil meningkatkan motivasi belajar, memperkuat peran keluarga dan masyarakat dalam pendidikan agama, serta membentuk karakter religius generasi muda. Pendekatan kolaboratif dan terstruktur yang diterapkan terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi Al-Qur’an di tingkat komunitas pedesaan dan dapat dijadikan model untuk wilayah lain dengan permasalahan serupa. Abstract

The Kenduri Nasi tradition, held during the month of Sha'ban, is a tangible manifestation of the acculturation between Malay culture and Islamic teachings. This tradition not only strengthens social bonds but also functions as a medium for internalizing Islamic educational values such as shukr (gratitude), ukhuwwah (brotherhood), and social awareness. Using a qualitative approach through a literature review, this study explores the embedded Islamic values within Kenduri Nasi and its role in preserving local cultural identity. The findings reveal that Kenduri Nasi serves as a contextual medium for transmitting religious values across generations through culturally rooted practices. This tradition exemplifies a positive syncretism between Islamic teachings and Malay customs, making it relevant for character education based on local wisdom. It also provides a meaningful model for integrating religious teachings into everyday life in a way that is both accessible and culturally sensitive.

Abstract

The Yasin recitation tradition is a deeply rooted religious practice in Muslim communities, particularly in Indonesia. This activity is typically performed routinely in mosques, prayer rooms (surau), and homes, involving the recitation of Surah Yasin, tahlil (recitation of the Quran), and communal prayer. From an Islamic educational perspective, this tradition is not merely a ritual worship but also a means of moral, spiritual, social, and cultural development for Muslims. This article aims to examine the meaning, value, and relevance of the Yasin recitation tradition in shaping the character and religious awareness of the Muslim community. The Wirid Yasin tradition is a religious practice deeply rooted in the life of the Malay ethnic group. Beyond being a spiritual ritual, this tradition contains significant educational dimensions. This study aims to uncover the Islamic educational values contained within the Wirid Yasin tradition. Using a descriptive qualitative method, the research findings indicate that Wirid Yasin is not merely the recitation of holy verses, but a means of internalizing the values of aqidah (faith), ukhuwah Islamiyah (Islamic brotherhood), and character education (akhlak). This tradition functions as an effective non-formal educational institution in maintaining social cohesion and the spiritual strengthening of the Malay community. Abstract

Pendidikan Islam tidak hanya berlangsung melalui jalur formal, tetapi juga melalui proses kultural yang hidup dalam masyarakat. Seni tradisional memiliki potensi strategis sebagai medium internalisasi nilai karena memadukan dimensi kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik secara simultan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses internalisasi nilai pendidikan Islam melalui seni Zapin Meskom di Bengkalis serta menjelaskan tantangan internalisasi nilai-nilai keislaman yang terkandung dalam syair, gerak, dan praktik sosialnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) terhadap literatur lima tahun terakhir yang relevan dan terindeks SINTA, dilengkapi dengan dokumen budaya lokal. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Zapin Meskom berfungsi sebagai media ta’dib yang menginternalisasikan nilai akidah, ibadah, akhlak, muamalah, dan estetika religius melalui mekanisme pembiasaan, keteladanan, relasi guru–murid, serta pengalaman estetis kolektif. Nilai-nilai tersebut terintegrasi dalam praktik seni sehingga membentuk kesadaran religius dan identitas sosial masyarakat Melayu-Islam Bengkalis. Namun, proses internalisasi nilai menghadapi tantangan berupa komersialisasi budaya, pergeseran orientasi generasi muda, dan desakralisasi makna seni. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Zapin Meskom memiliki kontribusi penting sebagai model pendidikan Islam berbasis budaya lokal dan merekomendasikan penguatan kesadaran pedagogis agar fungsi edukatif seni tradisional tetap berkelanjutan di tengah dinamika sosial kontemporer
