Abstract

The differences in educational patterns between the Meccan and Medinan phases have not been fully understood, particularly in the context of their application in the modern era. There is a lack of comprehensive studies on the dynamics of Islamic education during these two phases as a foundation for developing current educational systems. This research aims to re-examine these aspects as references and foundations for organizing education in both the present and the future. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach and library research or bibliometric analysis, which processes data based on literature. The library sources for this article include books, classical texts, and journals. Education is one of the mechanisms of life aimed at developing individual potential through teaching, training, and experience. Islamic education propagated by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) brought about a significant transformation in Arab society. The Prophet successfully transformed society from a state of ignorance characterized by idol worship and tribal conflicts into a unified community founded on faith, knowledge, and noble character. It can be concluded that the Islamic education introduced by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), both during the Meccan and Medinan periods, employed a highly comprehensive and profound approach.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to explore Ziauddin Sardar’s epistemology in integrating modern science and Islamic values, focusing on Tauhid (Oneness of God), Khilafah (Stewardship), and Worship as foundational principles for the Islamization of science and their implications for Islamic higher education in Indonesia. Methodology: This research employs a qualitative descriptive-analytical method using a literature review approach. Primary sources include Sardar’s works on epistemology and the Islamization of science, while secondary sources comprise academic books, journal articles, and historical analyses. The study utilizes content analysis and comparative framework analysis to examine Sardar’s integration model within contemporary educational contexts. Main Findings: The study finds that the separation between science and Islam is influenced by historical, sociological, and political factors rather than Islamic teachings. Sardar’s epistemology provides a structured approach to integrating science with Islamic principles. His model offers a framework for curriculum development in state Islamic universities, promoting an interdisciplinary and ethical approach to knowledge. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study connects Sardar’s epistemology with the practical challenges of Islamic higher education in Indonesia, offering a structured framework for curriculum development. Unlike previous studies, it bridges Islamization theory with contemporary educational policy, providing a relevant and applicable model for integrating Islamic values into scientific disciplines.

Abstract

In response to contemporary educational advancements, the purpose of this study is to investigate andconstruct an efficient, all-encompassing, and flexible framework for evaluating Islamic ReligiousEducation (PAI). Library research is the method employed, which involves examining a variety ofliterature sources, including books, scholarly journals, and pertinent documents. To obtain a thoroughgrasp of PAI learning evaluation, the analytical method entails a review of the literature that looks atideas, theories, and earlier research findings. According to the study's findings, a comprehensive andgenuine method should be used to evaluate PAI learning, taking into account cognitive, emotional, andpsychomotor components. The three primary phases of this evaluation are follow-up, implementation,and planning. It has been demonstrated that incorporating more interactive techniques with technologybasedassessment improves student motivation for learning and the overall efficacy of training.Additionally, a methodical assessment helps Islamic educational institutions create better learningstrategies and raise educational standards.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberantas buta aksara Al-Qur’an melalui pelaksanaan program “Pendampingan Intensif Maghrib Mengaji” di Rumah Tahfiz Ar-Raudah, Desa Ulupulau, Kecamatan Bantan, Kabupaten Bengkalis. Program ini dirancang secara partisipatif dengan melibatkan anak-anak, orang tua, dan guru ngaji sebagai subjek utama dalam proses pemberdayaan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara rutin setiap hari setelah maghrib, memanfaatkan waktu berkumpulnya keluarga untuk menciptakan suasana belajar yang kondusif. Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah metode Iqra’ untuk memperkenalkan huruf hijaiyah, makhraj, dan tajwid secara bertahap, serta penguatan tajwid yang dijadwalkan khusus setiap malam Rabu. Selain itu, monitoring dan evaluasi dilakukan secara berkala untuk mendokumentasikan perkembangan peserta dan menyesuaikan strategi pembelajaran sesuai kebutuhan individu. Hasil pelaksanaan program selama tiga bulan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan baca tulis Al-Qur’an peserta, khususnya dalam penguasaan huruf hijaiyah dan dasar-dasar tajwid. Program ini juga berhasil meningkatkan motivasi belajar, memperkuat peran keluarga dan masyarakat dalam pendidikan agama, serta membentuk karakter religius generasi muda. Pendekatan kolaboratif dan terstruktur yang diterapkan terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi Al-Qur’an di tingkat komunitas pedesaan dan dapat dijadikan model untuk wilayah lain dengan permasalahan serupa. Abstract

The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has brought human civilization into a new era known as the century of technological excellence. In this context, local cultures such as Malay culture face significant challenges and opportunities to remain relevant, adaptive, and sustainable amid disruptive digital modernization currents. This research aims to examine the position of Malay culture in the face of AI dominance and explore strategies for preservation, identity strengthening, and integration of cultural values into the future digital ecosystem. The method in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach with literature study, participatory observation, and in-depth interviews with cultural figures, academics, and technology-based creative industry players. The study results show that Malay culture has great potential to develop in line with AI through revitalizing local wisdom values such as syarak customs, Kitabullah sharia, buddhist philosophy, and the principles of deliberation and mutual cooperation. These values can be integrated into developing ethical algorithms, digital narratives, and AI-based educational systems rooted in local characters. However, there are significant challenges in the form of low digital literacy among the Malay community, limited technological resources, and the dominance of global content that does not represent local identity. Therefore, collaboration between educational institutions, governments, cultural communities, and technology actors is critical to creating an inclusive, humanistic, and culture-based AI ecosystem. This study concludes that Malay culture can survive and has an excellent opportunity to pioneer the creation of AI models based on local values. With the right strategy, the century of AI excellence is not a threat, but a momentum to display the uniqueness and wisdom of Malay culture on the global stage.

Abstract

Salah satu model evaluasi yang banyak digunakan adalah CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) yang dikembangkan oleh Daniel Stufflebeam, yang dirancang untuk menilai suatu program secara menyeluruh dengan mempertimbangkan konteks, masukan, proses, dan hasil. Melalui evaluasi ini, jurnal ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan mendalam mengenai bagaimana faktor konteks, sumber daya, proses pelaksanaan, dan hasil pembelajaran berkontribusi terhadap pencapaian tujuan pendidikan agama di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan pada riset ini yakni literature review. Analisis evaluasi model CIPP dalam program pendidikan kelas percepatan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan informasi ataupun sumber yang telah diteliti berupa penjelasan atau pembahasan mengenai teori-teori yang terkait dengan temuan atau topik penelitian tersebut. Evaluasi metode CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) adalah pendekatan komprehensif yang digunakan untuk menilai efektivitas suatu program atau kebijakan pendidikan. Evaluasi ini berfokus pada tiga aspek utama, yaitu kebutuhan, tujuan pemenuhan, dan karakteristik individu yang menjadi sasaran program. Dengan menerapkan model evaluasi CIPP secara optimal, para pemangku kebijakan, pendidik, dan akademisi dapat memperoleh wawasan yang lebih mendalam untuk mengembangkan metode pengajaran dan kebijakan yang lebih inovatif dan sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman.
