Abstract

Career development of senior high school students is an important aspect in shaping their readiness to face the world of work. However, many factors influence how students develop their careers, both in terms of internal and external factors. This article aims to analyze the factors that influence the career development of senior high school students through a systematic literature review (SLR) approach. This method is used to identify, evaluate, and synthesize findings from 10 relevant studies consisting of 5 international articles and 5 national articles. The studies were selected based on criteria of suitability with the topic and methodology used. The results of the analysis indicate that the main factors influencing the career development of senior high school students include family support, school involvement, socio-cultural factors, personal motivation, and access to career information and training. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that a holistic approach involving various parties is essential in students' career development. Further studies are expected to identify more effective strategies in strengthening career development among senior high school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kepribadian dan kebudayaan dalam pengembangan sosial dan akademik di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR), dengan melakukan penyaringan artikel berdasarkan kriteria tertentu. Dari total 231 artikel yang ditemukan, dilakukan pemfilteran terhadap artikel yang dipublikasikan dalam lima tahun terakhir, menghasilkan 91 artikel yang relevan. Selanjutnya, artikel-artikel tersebut disaring berdasarkan tema pendidikan, menghasilkan 34 artikel yang sesuai. Kemudian, filter lebih lanjut diterapkan untuk mengidentifikasi artikel yang berkaitan dengan kepribadian dan pendidikan, sehingga diperoleh 16 artikel yang relevan untuk dianalisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa baik kebudayaan maupun kepribadian memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap perkembangan sosial dan akademik siswa. Kepribadian, terutama aspek eksternal dan internal, berperan penting dalam interaksi sosial dan motivasi belajar, sementara kebudayaan berkontribusi dalam membentuk sikap dan perilaku siswa di lingkungan pendidikan. Kesimpulannya, pemahaman yang lebih dalam mengenai keduanya dapat membantu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih efektif dan inklusif.

Abstract

The therapeutic relationship is at the core of effective counseling, where a strong alliance between counselor and client builds trust and supports positive change. This process involves empathy, mutual understanding and openness. However, building an effective relationship is often faced with various barriers, both on the part of the counselor and the client, such as communication gaps, resistance, or differences in values. Contextual barriers, such as cultural differences or limited facilities, can also affect the quality of this relationship. Counselors should be able to overcome such barriers with a flexible approach, improve interpersonal skills, and demonstrate empathy and active listening. In addition, it is important to build clients' trust by creating an environment that is safe and sensitive to their cultural background. The purpose of this article is to discuss the barriers in the therapeutic relationship and strategies to overcome them, with the aim of increasing the effectiveness of the counseling process and providing greater positive impact for clients. The research method in this article uses a literature study which is to obtain references that are in accordance with the direction and purpose of this article. Through this article, it is expected to be able to know and expand the reading on how to build therapeutic relationships in counseling.

Abstract

Guidance and Counseling Administration (BK) plays an important role in the smoothness and effectiveness of services provided to students. The completeness of BK administration includes various components such as recording student data, documenting activities, and planning BK programs. Although BK administration is often considered a routine administrative task, its completeness affects the quality of counseling services received by students. This article aims to review the importance of completeness of administration in BK, by discussing the main components that must be present in good and efficient BK administration. In addition, this article also explores the obstacles that are often faced in implementing BK administration in schools and how to solve these problems. Technology also plays an important role in facilitating completeness of administration, by providing a more structured and easily accessible system. Through existing literature, this article emphasizes that the completeness of good BK administration not only supports the counselor's duties in carrying out their functions, but also contributes to improving the quality of guidance services that are more optimal for student development.
