Abstract

The implementation of Merdeka Curriculum provides new challenges in education, especially for students who must adapt to project-based learning and a more flexible approach. In this context, Guidance and Counseling (BK) services play a strategic role in supporting students to overcome adaptation challenges while optimizing their potential. This research uses the literature study method to analyze the BK service transformation strategies that are relevant to the needs of the Merdeka Curriculum. Data sources include research articles, policy documents, and reports related to the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum and the role of counseling services in schools. The results showed that BK services need to be transformed through technology-based approaches, such as online counseling, student needs surveys, and collaboration between BK teachers, subject teachers, and parents. Other recommended strategies are improving the professional competence of counseling teachers through continuous training and strengthening the integration of counseling services with the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile. The implementation of these strategies not only helps students adapt to Merdeka Curriculum but also contributes to improving students' independence skills, creativity, and critical thinking ability. With an innovative and collaboration-based approach, counseling services can be a catalyst in creating a learning ecosystem that is more adaptive and supports the maximum development of student potential.

Abstract

Guidance and Counseling (BK) programs in higher education have a strategic role in supporting student well-being, especially in the midst of academic, social, and emotional challenges. This study aims to evaluate the current condition of the BK program, identify the main obstacles, and formulate optimization strategies that are more targeted. A qualitative approach through literature study and document analysis was used to examine the effectiveness of counseling services in higher education. The results showed that counseling programs in higher education still face limitations, such as minimal budget, lack of professional counselors, and low accessibility of services. Recommended optimization strategies include the implementation of digital technology for online counseling, improving counselors' competencies through continuous training, a student needs-based approach through regular surveys, and collaboration between units in higher education to raise awareness of the importance of counseling services. The optimization of counseling programs has significant implications for students and educational institutions. Improved service quality can support students' mental well-being, improve their adaptability, and prepare them for the world of work. For institutions, this optimization contributes to the reputation and attractiveness of the campus, while increasing student retention rates. This research confirms the importance of continued investment in counseling programs to create an academic environment that supports students' mental health and success.

Abstract

Guidance and Counseling (BK) Program in Junior High Schools (SMP) has a strategic role in supporting the holistic development of students, covering academic, personal, social, and career aspects. This article aims to analyze the transformation of BK program in SMP, with a focus on the impact of program implementation and the implications of its development for the education system. Through a literature review of various recent studies and policies, this article identifies fundamental changes in the approach, methods, and objectives of BK program that are adjusted to the challenges of the modern era, such as digitalization, diversity of student needs, and increasing complexity of adolescent problems. The results of the analysis show that the transformation of BK program involves the integration of technology in counseling services, a collaborative approach between counselors, teachers, and parents, and an emphasis on the development of 21st century skills. The positive impacts of this transformation include increasing the accessibility of BK services, strengthening students' adaptability to environmental changes, and contributing to the achievement of national education goals. However, challenges remain, including the lack of counselor training related to technology, disparities in resources between schools, and the need to address the stigma against counseling services. This article emphasizes the importance of evidence-based development strategies to improve the effectiveness of BK programs in junior high schools, including strengthening counselor competencies, providing adequate infrastructure, and formulating policies that support innovation in BK services. With this approach, BK programs can play a more significant role in shaping young generations who are ready to face global challenges.

Abstract

Guidance and Counseling Administration (BK) plays an important role in the smoothness and effectiveness of services provided to students. The completeness of BK administration includes various components such as recording student data, documenting activities, and planning BK programs. Although BK administration is often considered a routine administrative task, its completeness affects the quality of counseling services received by students. This article aims to review the importance of completeness of administration in BK, by discussing the main components that must be present in good and efficient BK administration. In addition, this article also explores the obstacles that are often faced in implementing BK administration in schools and how to solve these problems. Technology also plays an important role in facilitating completeness of administration, by providing a more structured and easily accessible system. Through existing literature, this article emphasizes that the completeness of good BK administration not only supports the counselor's duties in carrying out their functions, but also contributes to improving the quality of guidance services that are more optimal for student development.

Abstract

The management of Guidance and Counseling (BK) implementation in schools has a strategic role in supporting the optimal development of student potential. This research aims to analyze effective strategies in the management of guidance and counseling implementation based on literature studies from various scientific articles. Using the literature study method, this research examines the concepts, practices, and challenges in the management of guidance and counseling in schools. The results show that effective BK management involves optimizing all resources, such as educators, infrastructure, funds, and information systems, by referring to the POAC principle (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling) as stipulated in Permendikbud Number 111 of 2014. The competence of counseling teachers is an important element to ensure that counseling services are relevant to students' needs, while inter-stakeholder collaboration and the fulfillment of adequate infrastructure are key to the success of the counseling program. Continuous evaluation is also needed to improve the effectiveness of counseling services. This study concludes that the implementation of planned and systematic management strategies can support the implementation of more effective counseling, thus making a significant contribution to the development of students' character, achievement and skills. Thus, counseling services can be an important pillar in achieving national education goals.

Abstract

The rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in online learning has reshaped education, with AI-driven feedback as a key innovation. This paper systematically reviews its role in enhancing student motivation through the lens of Self-Determination Theory (SDT). Using a PRISMA-based Systematic Literature Review (SLR), 20 journal articles were selected from Scopus and Web of Science. VOSviewer supported bibliometric and thematic analyses, mapping keyword co-occurrence and research trends. Results show that AI-driven feedback enhances competence through timely, specific guidance; promotes autonomy through adaptive personalization; and fosters relatedness through interactive features and gamification. Challenges include affective satisfaction, ethical concerns, data privacy, and balancing teacher technology roles. AI-driven feedback can enhance intrinsic motivation in online learning when integrated with sound pedagogy and teacher support. Future research should explore long-term impacts and refine strategies for human AI balance. Keywords: AI-driven feedback, adaptive learning, student motivation, online learning
