Abstract

This study examined the effect of skill and personality on employee productivity at PT Sumber Permata Mineral Site North Morowali. The research uses a quantitative approach, with a sample selected through non-probability sampling techniques involving 76 respondents. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and the distribution of questionnaires directly to the respondents. The quality of the research instruments was tested using validity and reliability tests. The analytical method employed is multiple linear regression analysis, followed by hypothesis testing using partial tests (t-statistical test), simultaneous tests (F-statistical test), and the coefficient of determination to determine the contribution of independent variables to the dependent variable. The results of the study indicate that (1) Skill has a significant partial effect on work productivity, (2) Personality has a partial and significant effect on work productivity, and (3) Skill and personality simultaneously have a significant effect on work productivity. However, the combined contribution of skill and personality to employee work productivity is relatively weak, with a percentage of 47.7%. This suggests that other factors, accounting for 52.3%, may also influence employee work productivity at PT Sumber Permata Mineral Site North Morowali.

Abstract

This community service aims to enhance students’ understanding and interest in science through interactive learning based on experiments and technology at SDIT Tazkia Insani Majalengka. Science education at the elementary school level is a crucial foundation for building students’ understanding and interest in natural sciences. This activity combines direct experimental methods and the use of virtual laboratories to provide a comprehensive learning experience. Students participate in experiments to deepen their understanding of scientific concepts. This approach enables students to develop observation, analysis, and problem-solving skills while utilizing modern technology. The results of the service showed an increase in students’ enthusiasm and understanding of science material. This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to create quality education. Keywords: Science Learning; Interactive Learning Media; Experiment;, Technology; Learning Interest

Abstract

Science education at the primary school level plays a crucial role in forming students' initial scientific understanding. However, chemistry learning is often constrained by limited facilities and concerns about the environmental impact of experiment waste. This community service program aims to address these issues through the implementation of a Zero-Waste Chemistry Class by applying safe, simple, and non-hazardous Green Chemistry-based experiments. The target of this activity was students of SD IT Tazkia Insani in Majalengka Regency. The methods included preparing simple experiment kits and guides (Making Milk Glue), socialization, mentoring, and evaluation using test instruments based on three OECD (2023) science literacy indicators. The program results show that the application of eco-friendly experiments was highly effective in enhancing overall science understanding, with 57.14% of students achieving the Very Good category and 42.86% achieving the Good category. Furthermore, the activity successfully fostered an understanding of eco-friendly chemistry awareness among students, with the Good category dominating (42.86%). This program is expected to be an innovative, meaningful, and sustainable science learning model, aligning with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) points 4 (Quality Education) and 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). Abstract

This study discusses the problem of operational efficiency in warehouses in the Bekasi Raya area which is not yet optimal due to the lack of structured warehouse management systems and inconsistent implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The purpose of this study is to analyze the warehouse management system implemented and evaluate the extent to which SOPs contribute to increasing efficiency. The urgency of the study lies in the vital role of Bekasi Raya as a national industrial and logistics area that demands an effective and professional warehousing system. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach through observation, in-depth interviews, and SOP document studies in five purposively selected warehousing companies. The results of the study indicate that although most warehouses already have SOPs, their implementation is not optimal due to lack of training, periodic evaluations, and the lack of integration of SOPs with technology-based management systems. In conclusion, SOPs that are implemented consistently and integrated with the warehouse management system can significantly increase efficiency. Digitalization, periodic training, and ongoing supervision are needed to support maximum efficiency in warehouse operations.
