Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagimana kelayakan mudul ajar menggunakan aplikasi Kahoot sebagai media evaluasi hasil belajar siswa dan bagaimana respon peserta didik terhadap modul ajar yang akan dikembangkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model penelitian pengembangan instrumen tes. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa tes dan angket. Sedangkan teknis analisis data yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi ahli materi, lembar validasi ahli bahasa, angket respon penilaian peserta didik dan analisis butir soal. Hasil validasi dari ahli materi mendapatkan perolehan rata-rata sebesar 4,2 dengan kriteria baik. Hasil validasi dari ahli bahasa mendapatkan perolehan rata-rata sebesar 3,9 dengan kategori baik. Validitas dari hasil uji coba diperolah uji coba pertama dengan soal post test, reliabilitas yang diperoleh pada tahap pertama sebesar 65,1% dengan kategori cukup. Pada penilaian peserta didik memperoleh persentase akhir sebesar 88,1% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Disimpulkan bahwa modul ajar teks eksposisi menggunakan aplikasi Kahoot sebagai media evaluasi hasil belajar siswa yang dikembangkan sangat layak sebagai media evaluasi yang baik digunakan dalam pembelajaran teks eksposisi.

Abstract

The meta-analysis method in this research was used to determine how problem-based learning activities influence problem-solving abilities. Analysis is carried out based on material units and levels/classes. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the mechanical material unit had an effect size of 0.83 in the high category, for the electric magnetic material unit it had an effect size value of 1.12 in the very high category, for the optical wave material unit it had an effect size of 1.66 with very high category, for thermodynamic material units it has an effect size of 1.41 in the very high category, and for fluid material units it has an effect size of 1.56 in the very high category. Then for class X it has an effect size of 1.19 in the very high category, for class XI it has an effect size of 1.35 in the very high category and for class In conclusion, for the optical wave material unit, it has an effect size of 1.81 which has a very high influence on students' ability to solve problems and for class XI level it has an effect size of 1.35 which has a very high influence on students' ability to solve problems.

Abstract

Fusarium oxysporum has been the enemy in agriculture due to the wide range of infections in the whole crop and postharvest. Botanical extracts in traditional medicine systems were considered valuable sources for discovering new antifungals. Thus, exploration to get antifungals from eco-friendly botanical extracts as an alternative to synthetic fungicides needs to be expanded. Therefore, this study aims to test the antifungal potential of seven eco-friendly botanical aquadest extracts against F. oxysporum in vitro. The antifungal potential test was done on PDA media and the mycelial growth data was collected every two days for seven days. There were three antifungal phenomena were observed. The pandan leaf extract had a 4% fungal inhibition zone (phenomenon I). The extract of banana leaf, Hibiscus flower, papaya leaf, guava twig (phenomenon II), orange peels, and betel leaf (phenomenon III) had no values of fungal inhibition zone. Thus, pandan leaves extract revealed a fungal inhibition while other six botanical extracts had not enough antifungal potential in vitro.

Abstract

The culinary business is currently experiencing rapid growth, marked by the emergence of food businesses, both local, national, and internationally recognized brands. One of the food trends that is popular among the millennial generation is fast food. The method used in this study is meta-analysis, which involves analyzing and combining data from 16 journals obtained through Google Scholar that relate to culinary trends among millennials. Consumption of fast food has become a trend among young people, especially millennials, due to its practicality, speed, and modern appeal. The results of this study show that excessive consumption of fast food can lead to various health risks such as obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and other degenerative diseases.

Abstract

Eksplorasi senyawa aktif dari tanaman terutama dari lada hitam (Piper nigrum) dan bawang bombai (Allium cepa L.) dibutuhkan untuk mengatasi infeksi tuberkulosis (TB) sebagai alternatif dari antibiotik yang tersedia saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi aktivitas anti-Mycobacterium dari ekstrak P. nigrum, A. cepa, dan kombinasinya serta mengidentifikasi profil metabolitnya. Metabolit yang berasal dari tanaman ini diekstraksi menggunakan teknik maserasi dengan etanol 70%. Ekstrak A. cepa menunjukkan hasil ekstraksi yang lebih tinggi yaitu 19,18% daripada P. nigrum (8,15%). Di antara lima formula yang berbeda (F1-F5), F5 (hanya mengandung ekstrak P. nigrum) menunjukkan aktivitas anti-Mycobacterium terkuat dengan zona penghambatan 12±0 mm dengan metode difusi cakram. Ekstrak tersebut juga menunjukkan minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) terkuat dibandingkan dengan formula lain, dengan nilai MIC sebesar 0,312 mg/mL. Selain itu, semua formula menunjukkan nilai minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC) lebih besar dari 10 mg/mL. Analisis LC-MS/MS mengidentifikasi bahwa kedua ekstrak tanaman ini memiliki profil metabolit yang berbeda, beberapa di antaranya telah dilaporkan sebagai agen antimikroba. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak yang berasal dari P. nigrum lebih aktif daripada ekstrak A. cepa dan kombinasinya. Ekstrak P. nigrum sangat menjanjikan untuk studi dan pengembangan lebih lanjut sebagai agen anti-Mycobacterium berbasis tanaman. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu (1) Untukmengetahui kemampuan menganalisis unsur intrinsik cerpen; (2) Untuk mengetahui kemampuan menganalisis unsur intrinsik cerpen “Selamat Tinggal Sahabatku” Karya Maman Syahman sebelum menggunakan metode inquiry ; dan (3) Untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh yang signifikan setelah adanya penerapan metode Inquiry terhadap kemampuan menganalisis unsur intrinsik cerpen “Selamat Tinggal Sahabatku” Karya Maman Syahman oleh siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pulau Rakyat Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022, Kecamatan Pulau Rakyat, Kabupaten Asahan.Adapun rancangan eksperimen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah One group pretest posttest design, yaitu eksperimen yang dilakukan pada satu kelompok saja tanpa kelompok pembanding. Hasil penelitian yaitu (1) Kemampuan menganalisis unsur intrinsik dalam cerpen “Selamat Tinggal Sahabatku” Karya Maman Syahman sebelum menggunakan metode diskusi kelompok memiliki nilai rata-rata sebesar 71,4. Nilai tertinggi adalah 80, nilai sedang adalah 75 dan nilai terendah adalah 65. (2) Kemampuan menganalisis unsur intrinsik dalam cerpen “Selamat Tinggal Sahabatku” Karya Maman Syahman sesudah menggunakan metode diskusi kelompok memiliki nilai rata-rata sebesar 80,4. Nilai tertinggi adalah 90, nilai sedang adalah 80 dan nilai terendah adalah 75. (3) Ada pengaruh yang signifikan metode diskusi kelompok terhadap kemampuan menganalisis unsur intrinsik dalam cerpen “Selamat Tinggal Sahabatku” Karya Maman Syahman sesudah menggunakan metode diskusi kelompok, pada taraf signifikan 5% yaitut hitung> t tabel, yakni 7,14 > 2,06 maka terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan metode diskusi kelompok terhadap kemampuan menganalisis unsur intrinsik dalam novel oleh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pulau Rakyat Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022.

Abstract

This study examined the effect of skill and personality on employee productivity at PT Sumber Permata Mineral Site North Morowali. The research uses a quantitative approach, with a sample selected through non-probability sampling techniques involving 76 respondents. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and the distribution of questionnaires directly to the respondents. The quality of the research instruments was tested using validity and reliability tests. The analytical method employed is multiple linear regression analysis, followed by hypothesis testing using partial tests (t-statistical test), simultaneous tests (F-statistical test), and the coefficient of determination to determine the contribution of independent variables to the dependent variable. The results of the study indicate that (1) Skill has a significant partial effect on work productivity, (2) Personality has a partial and significant effect on work productivity, and (3) Skill and personality simultaneously have a significant effect on work productivity. However, the combined contribution of skill and personality to employee work productivity is relatively weak, with a percentage of 47.7%. This suggests that other factors, accounting for 52.3%, may also influence employee work productivity at PT Sumber Permata Mineral Site North Morowali.

Abstract

This article examines the usefulness of the Cake App in students’ English vocabulary learning. A mixed-methods approach was used to collect data regarding 121 respondents, and questionnaires and interviews were used accordingly, which aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the Cake App in improving English vocabulary. The findings suggest that the Cake app is a potential tool for vocabulary development since many users reported having enjoyable experiences and making considerable vocabulary increases. The interview findings indicate that users exhibit increased confidence in using new terminology after consistent practice with the interactive aspects of the Cake program. The use of repetition-based learning techniques and contextualization in the films enhanced users' retention of newly acquired vocabulary. Conversely, other limitations were identified, including the lack of a structured curriculum and the significance of video resources. Several users also experienced technical difficulties, including reliance on a steady internet connection. The study results suggest that while the Cake App has the potential to contribute to vocabulary development, more improvements are necessary to maximize its effectiveness as a tool for language learning. The interviews showed that the majority of users deemed the word repetition and speaking practice elements beneficial, improving their comprehension and confidence in using new language. Several users stated that the app assisted them with academic assignments and daily conversations. Nonetheless, there are several challenges were also recognized. Some users saw the app's information as occasionally monotonous particularly owing to the extensive materials provided without a defined learning framework. Moreover, technological limitations pose a significant barrier, particularly for those with limited internet usage or unreliable connections. Several participants said that they are prone to forgetting the stuff they have learned if it is not promptly documented. Consequently, the implementation of an automated note-taking tool or offline mode might enhance the app's efficacy for users seeking to optimize their learning results. These enhancements would not only optimize the Cake App’s effectiveness but also position it as a more comprehensive and structured tool for digital language learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan instrumen asesmen kompetensi minimal (AKM) yang valid secara teoritis, praktis, serta valid dan reliabel secara empiris. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah R&D dengan model ADDIE. Data validitas diperoleh dari hasil validasi 3 dosen ahli Fisika FMIPA UNP, data praktikalitas diperoleh dari guru dan siswa SMAN 13 Padang dan data uji coba terbatas diperoleh dari 25 siswa SMAN 13 Padang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan validitas instrumen, praktikalitas, dan butir-butir instrumen AKM. Instrumen AKM ini telah tervalidasi dan dinyatakan valid dengan nilai rata-rata 0,95. Hasil uji praktikalitas oleh guru memperoleh rata-rata 94,66% dengan kategori sangat kuat dan praktikalitas oleh siswa memperoleh nilai rata-rata 85,22% dengan kategori sangat kuat. Seluruh butir yang diuji dinyatakan valid dan reliabel secara empiris. Reliabilitas instrumen AKM sebesar 0,913 dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa instrumen AKM dapat digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan literasi membaca dan literasi numerasi siswa.
