Abstract

Abstract: Abstract: This research aimed to discover the percentage of the proximate analysis results in the coal and to discover its effect on the calorific value of the coal it was conducted by obtaining the coal samples to be analyzed, and the samples were then processed to produce the samples ready to testing. The results have shown that variations of adhesive had a significant effect on moisture, ash content, volatile matter, fixed carbon, temperature of combustions while not affected the rate and density and compressive strength. The best treatment from this study was obtained from treatment charcoal and with compostions 50% coal : 50 sengon charcoal with sampel code KH (pulaubalang) and resulting from this treatment briquettes were moisture of 5.99 % ; ash content 6,92 % ; volatile matter 11,42% fixed carbon 75,65% burning rate of 3,74 g/minute; fire ignition 6: 36 minute; density of 0,23 g/cm3; compressive strength of 38,22 kg/cm2. Briquets with composition 50% coal : 50 sengon charcoal with sampel code KP (balikpapan) and resulting from this treatment briquettes were moisture of 6,96 % ; ashcontent 4,73 % ; volatile matter 11,92% fixed carbon 76,39% burning rate of 2,61 g/minute; fire ignition 6: 57 minute; density of 0,21 g/cm3; compressive strength of 24,70 kg/cm2.

Abstract

Abstrak Kematangan emosional memainkan peran penting dalam kehidupan, maka penting diketahui bagaimana perkembangan dan pengaruh emosional terhadap penyesuaian pribadi dan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik role playing untuk meningkatkan kematangan emosional siswa SMAS YKPP Dumai. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen. Subjek penilitian ini dipilih secara purposive sampling, sampel diambil sebanyak 8 siswa yang memiliki kematangan emosional rendah. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji analisis statistik non parametic uji wilcoxon dan n gain ternomalisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai Asymp sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,012 < α (0,05) yaitu adanya pengaruh antara bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik role playing terhadap kematangan emosional siswa. Hasil penelitian terdapat perbedaan hasil skor siswa sebelum dan sesudah diberikan treatment. Dimana setelah diberikan treatment 86% siswa berada dalam kategori kematangan emosional tinggi dan 14% di kategori sedang.

Abstract

The high unemployment rate among university graduates demonstrates the need to enhance entrepreneurial competencies. Although entrepreneurship programs have been provided, many students struggle to apply the knowledge. Creativity is believed to be a key factor that can encourage entrepreneurial attitudes through the creation of innovative ideas. This study aims to determine the effect of creativity on the entrepreneurial attitudes of Economics Education students in Pekanbaru. The study employed a quantitative approach with a sample of 170 students from the University of Riau and Sultan Syarif Kasim State Islamic University, selected through a purposive random sampling technique with the Slovin formula. Data collection was carried out using a Likert scale questionnaire, and data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression. Pre-requisite tests showed that the data were normally and linearly distributed. The results implied that creativity had a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial attitudes. Thus, the higher the students' creativity, the more positive their attitudes towards entrepreneurship.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning by using problem based learning models and discussion methods. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were high school students. The data for this study were obtained by test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure learning outcomes and observations are used to analyze teacher and student learning activities. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics. The results of the study indicate that problem based learning models and discussion methods can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning. Thus, the use of problem based learning models and discussion methods can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the factors influencing a Grade X student’s difficulties in peer relationships and to examine the effectiveness of individual counseling and group counseling interventions in addressing these issues. Using a qualitative case study design, the research involved one primary student participant, supported by classmates and a school counselor as additional informants. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña’s analytical model. The findings reveal that the student’s social challenges stem from an interplay of internal factors such as withdrawal tendencies and low self-confidence and external factors related to negative peer perceptions and group dynamics. The individual counseling sessions facilitated self-awareness and improvement in basic communication skills, while group counseling provided emotional support and opportunities for social learning through direct peer interaction. Both interventions proved effective in enhancing the student’s social adjustment and preventing maladaptive coping strategies, such as the desire to transfer to another class. These findings underscore the importance of integrated school counseling approaches in helping students overcome social relationship barriers

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of humanistic counseling in addressing delinquency among 12th-grade vocational students caused by family pressure. The research used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that humanistic counseling: emphasizing empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness, helped the student understand emotions, develop self-awareness, and improve behavior. After several sessions, the student showed positive changes such as reduced absenteeism and increased responsibility at school. The study concludes that humanistic counseling is effective in addressing student delinquency rooted in family pressure and highlights the importance of an empathetic and supportive counselor–client relationship.
