Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the significant positive influence between the Sociodrama Method on the Creativity of Class VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Paranginan, Humbang Hasundutan Regency, Academic Year 2024/2025. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method and the type of research is a pre-experimental design with the form of "One group pretest-posttest". The population is all students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 3 Paranginan who are Protestant Christians consisting of 2 classes totaling 47 people and a sample of 47 people was determined using the Nonprobability Sampling technique, namely Purposive Sampling. Data were collected with a closed questionnaire of 30 items. The results of the data analysis show that there is an influence of sociodrama on students' learning creativity as expected, as evidenced by the significant test obtained a calculated t value> t table (α = 0.05; dk = n-1 = 46) which is 9.524> 2.021, thus there is a significant influence between variable X and variable Y. Thus, H0 is rejected and Ha, namely there is a positive and significant influence between the Sociodrama Method on the Learning Creativity of Class VIII Students in the 2023/2024 Academic Year, is accepted.

Abstract

The study aims to determine whether the educational crossword puzzle game can create, build, and change students' learning motivation and the learning process in class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Satu Atap Tampahan. The research method used is quantitative with a pre-experimental design type in the form of One group pretest-posttest. The population of all classes VIII is 90 people and a sample of 31 people using purposive sampling. The closed questionnaire instrument consists of 20 items. The results of the data analysis show that there is an influence of the educational game method used by the teacher on students' learning motivation, as evidenced by the significant test obtained a value of t count> t table, namely 6.669> 2.042, it is concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the positive and significant relationship between the professional competence of Christian Religious Education (CRE) teachers and the learning outcomes of class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Balige in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research uses a quantitative method with a descriptive inferential approach. The population of the study consists of all class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Balige, totaling 149 students. The sampling method used is random sampling, with a sample size of 54 students. The research instruments used are a closed questionnaire to measure the professional competence of teachers and UH (Ulangan Harian or Daily Test) scores to measure student learning outcomes. The data analysis results show that: a) the correlation test obtained a value of rcount = 0.293, which is greater than rtable = 0.226, indicating a positive relationship between the two variables; b) the significance test yielded a value of tcount = 2.210, which is greater than ttable = 2.000, meaning the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the professional competence of CRE teachers has a significant relationship with student learning outcomes. Therefore, improving teachers’ professional competence is expected to enhance student learning outcomes. This study contributes to the development of education and can serve as a reference for teachers and schools to improve the quality of teaching.

Abstract

Era digital membawa transformasi signifikan dalam pola belajar, pola pikir, dan pembentukan spiritualitas umat Kristen. Spiritualitas dewasa yang matang tidak hanya menuntut kedalaman pemahaman iman, tetapi juga kemampuan melakukan refleksi diri, pengambilan keputusan etis, serta kedewasaan emosional. Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk spiritualitas orang percaya agar bertumbuh secara integral meski hidup dalam kompleksitas digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi strategi PAK yang efektif untuk mendorong perkembangan spiritualitas dewasa yang matang, melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi teknologi, pendampingan pastoral digital, pembelajaran reflektif, dan penguatan komunitas virtual mampu memperkuat struktur spiritualitas dewasa. Studi ini memberi kontribusi teoretis dan praktis bagi guru PAK, gereja, serta pendidik Kristen dalam merancang program pembinaan iman yang relevan dengan kebutuhan generasi modern.
