Abstract

This research aims to develop a classroom action research module equipped with examples of classroom action research on Christian education. This is motivated by the importance of teachers doing classroom action research to improve learning poses and improve learning outcomes in accordance with the goals of the field of study. From the results of the analysis of the needs of teachers for the importance of knowledge of implementing classroom action research, information was obtained that from 297 teachers of Christian education, 98% stated that it was very important to do classroom action research in the field of Christian education, but did not understand how to do it, it was needed modules as a guide to carrying out classroom action research and examples of classroom action research in the implementation of Christian education. This research uses a 4D model development approach with stages of define, design, develop and disseminate. The results of the research are in the form of classroom action research modules equipped with examples in the learning of Christian Education class VII with the title "Improving the learning outcomes of Christian education through the application of role playing methods at the junior high school level." The results of this study have not been as expected, because in the example of special classroom action research has not been completed until the stage of disseminate because teachers and students teach and learn online due to the Covid-19 pandemic. That is, the modules that have been developed that are followed by examples of their use are constrained, so that only to the limit of product revision. However, this module and example is expected to be able to provide a good understanding for teachers and supervisors of Christian education and become a guide to implement classroom action research to improve the learning process and improve learning outcomes as one of the fields of study aimed at forming the character of a nation that obeys God's orders expressed in a plural social life and respect each other's children.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the positive and significant influence of the Social Competence of Christian Religious Education Teachers on Student Learning Motivation in class XI of SMK Negeri 1 Raya. The method used is a descriptive quantitative research method, with a population of 237 students and a sample taken of 25% so that the sample for this research is 59 students using Random Sampling techniques. The instrument used in this research used a closed questionnaire of 33 questions, of which 20 questionnaire items were for variable X and 20 items were for variable Y which had been tested on 33 students outside the research sample. The results of the research show that there is a positive and significant influence between the Social Competence of Christian Religious Education Teachers on Student Learning Motivation in class XI of SMK Negeri 1 Raya. 1) Test the relationship between rcount > rtable, namely 0.574>0.226; 2) Significant test tcount>ttable, namely 5.292>2.021; 3) Determination test, namely 32.94%; 4) The regression equation is obtained from Y ̂= 14.91+0.69X ; 5) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable = (α= 0.05, dk numerator k = 19, dk denominator = n-2 = 59-2 = 57) namely 27.87> 1.40. Thus Ha, namely that there is a positive and significant influence between the Social Competence of Christian Religious Education Teachers on Student Learning Motivation in class XI of SMK Negeri 1 Raya is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the influence of the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) learning model on the learning motivation for Christian Religious Education and Character Education of class V students at SD Negeri 3 Pasar Pangururan for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The research hypothesis is that there is a positive influence between the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) learning model on the learning motivation for Christian Religious Education and Characteristics of class V students at SD Negeri 3 Pasar Pangururan for the 2023/2024 academic year. Quantitative and descriptive research methods. The population of all class V students at SD Negeri 3 Pasar Pangururan for the 2023/2024 academic year who are Protestant Christians is 62 people. This research is population research. The research instrument is a closed number. The results of data analysis obtained: a) The value of rcount=0.561>rtable=0.254 shows that there is a positive influence between the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) learning model and students' motivation to learn Christian Religious Education and Character. b) Regression equation. c) The determination test shows that the magnitude of the effect is 31.47%. d) Hypothesis testing obtained Fcount=26.756>Ftable=3.15 so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The research concludes that there is a positive influence between the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) learning model on the learning motivation for Christian Religious Education and Character Education of class V students at SD Negeri 3 Pasar Pangururan for the 2023/2024 Academic Year

Abstract

The research aims to determine the influence of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on interest in studying Christian Religious Education and Characteristics of class IV students at SD Negeri 3 Pasar Pangururan for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research hypothesis is that there is a positive influence between the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on interest in studying Christian Religious Education and Characteristics of class IV students at SD Negeri 3 Pasar Pangururan for the 2023/2024 academic year Quantitative and descriptive research methods. The population of all class IV students at SD Negeri 3 Pasar Pangururan for the 2023/2024 academic year who are Protestant Christians is 60 people. This research is population research. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire. The results of data analysis obtained: a) The value of rcount=0.583>rtable=0.254 shows that there is a positive influence between the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model and students' interest in learning Christian Religious Education and Character. b) Regression equation. c) The determination test revealed that the magnitude of the effect was 33.99%. d) Hypothesis testing obtained Fcount=29.896>Ftable=3.15 so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The research concluded that there was a positive influence between the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on interest in studying Christian Religious Education and Characteristics of class IV students at SD Negeri 3 Pasar Pangururan for the 2023/2024 Academic Year.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out whether the Professional Competence of Christian Religious Education Teachers has a positive influence on the Character of Class IX Students of SMP Negeri 1 Baktiraja, Humbang Haunjungan Regency, Academic Year 2023/2024. The research method used is a quantitative method with an inferential approach. The population is all 143 Protestant Christian students in Class IX of SMP Negeri 1 Baktiraja, Humbang Hasundutan Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year and a sample of 51 people was determined using random sampling techniques. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 36 items, namely 18 items for variable the following data: 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) positive relationship test obtained rxy = 0.527 > rtable(=0.05,n=51) = 0.297. b) Testing a significant relationship obtained tcount= 4.340 > ttable(=0.05, dk=n-2=49)= 2.021. 2) Influence test: a) Regression equation test, obtained the regression equation Y ̂="28.09"+0.53X. b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 27.8%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable=(=0.05, dk numerator k=20, dk denominator=n-2=51-2=49) namely 18.81 > 1.51. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the positive and significant influence of the Make a Match Type Learning Model on Learning Motivation for Christian Religious Education and Character of Class VIII Students of SMP N1 Pollung for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach. The population is all students in class VIII of SMP N Pollung for the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 121 people and a sample of 92 people was determined according to the Krejcie and Morgan table. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 36 items. The results of data analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence of the Make a Match Type Learning Model on Learning Motivation for Christian Religious Education and Character of Class VIII Students of SMP N1 Pollung for the 2023/2024 Academic Year: 1) Correlation Test obtained a value of rxy = 0.546 > rtable( =0.05,n=92) = 0.207, thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable Another(r2) =29,8 % is influenced by other factors that can increase student learning motivation. b) Test the regression equation, obtained the regression equation Y=36.99+0.52X. b) 3) Test the hypothesis using the t test to obtain tcount > ttable, namely 6.187 > 1.980. Thus, Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the positive and significant influence of the Exemplary Christian Education Teacher on the Character of Class X Students of SMK Negeri 1 Raya, Simalungun Regency in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The research method used was a quantitative method with descriptive statistics. The population was 159 Protestant Christian students of class X of SMK Negeri 1 Raya, Simalungun Regency in the 2023/2024 Academic Year and a sample of 40 people was determined using a random sampling technique. Data were collected using a positive closed questionnaire of 39 items, namely 20 items for variable X and 19 items for variable Y. The results of the data analysis showed that there was a positive and significant influence of the Exemplary Christian Religious Education Teachers on the Character of Class X Students of SMK Negeri 1 Raya, Simalungun Regency in the 2023/2024 Academic Year, as evidenced by the following data analysis: 1) Analysis requirements test: a) Positive relationship test obtained rxy value = 0.479> rtable ( = 0.05, n = 40) = 0.312. b) Significant relationship test obtained tcount = 3.364> ttable ( = 0.05, dk = n-2 = 38) = 2.021. 2) Influence test: a) Regression equation test Y ̂="2.85" + 0.79X. b) Regression determination coefficient test (r2) = 22.9%. 3) Hypothesis testing using the F test obtained Fcount > Ftable = ( = 0.05, df numerator k = 13, df denominator = n-2 = 40-2 = 38) which is 11.3 > 2.00. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the positive and significant influence of the talking stick learning model on the active learning of Christian Religious Education for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Siborongborong for the 2023/2024 academic year. The method used in this research uses a quantitative approach with inferential descriptive data analysis. The population is all students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Siborongborong for the 2023/2024 academic year, 256 Protestant Christians and a sample of 48 people, namely 20%, was determined using random sampling. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 40 items. The results of data analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence of the talking stick learning model on the learning activity of Christian Religious Education for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Siborongborong for the 2023/2024 academic year: 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) test a positive relationship with a value of rxy = 0.550 > rtable(α=0.05,n=48) = 0.284, thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable dk=n-2=46)= 2.021, thus there is a significant relationship between variable b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 30.3%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable=(α=0.05, dk numerator k=24, dk denominator=n-2=48-2=46) namely 19.95 > 1.51. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the Influence of the Recitation Method by PAK Teachers on the Learning Activity of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 4 Sibolga in the 2023/2024 Academic Year, with the hypothesis that there is a positive and significant influence of the recitation method by PAK teachers on the learning activity of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Sibolga in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. With a population of all class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Sibolga who are Protestant Christians totaling 121 people with a sample of 37 people, this study uses a descriptive method with a random sampling technique. Data were collected with a closed questionnaire of 40 items compiled by the author based on variable indicators according to expert theory. The questionnaire trial was conducted on 30 students of SMP Negeri 4 Sibolga in the 2023/2024 Academic Year using 46 questionnaire questions and after being tested, the results of the validity of the questionnaire trial were found to be rcount = -0.352 - 0.609 (there were 6 question items that had a validity of less than rtable 0.361 so that invalid questionnaires were discarded. Thus, the valid questionnaires amounted to 40 questions. And the reliability of the questionnaire trial which was at a value of 0.899 had been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the data analysis showed that there was a positive and significant influence between the Recitation Method by PAK Teachers on the Learning Activity of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 4 Sibolga in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. With the relationship test, it was obtained that rcount> rtable, namely 0.706> 0.325, with a significant relationship test of tcount> ttable, namely 8.319>2.021, with a linear regression test Y ̂ = α+bx = 23.39+0.355X. This equation shows that in a constant state of 26.98, for every addition of variable X (recitation method) by one unit, there will be an increase in variable Y (student learning activity) by 0.355 from (variable X), coefficient of determination 49.84%. This means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The significant effect test with Fcount>Ftable (34.735>4.08) means that there is a positive and significant effect between the recitation method by PAK teachers on the learning activity of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Sibolga in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. This study suggests that teachers always increase the use of the recitation method in the teaching and learning process, so that class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Sibolg are more active in participating in class learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop and produce effective image media on the material of loving others like loving oneself in Christian Religious Education and Character Education learning for grade IV elementary school Merdeka Curriculum. This study uses a development method with the ADDIE approach model. The research location in North Tapanuli Regency consists of Elementary School 173290 Butar, Pagaran District, Elementary School 173291 Butar, Pagaran District, Elementary School 173292 Butar, Pagaran District, Elementary School 178492 Pagarbatu, Elementary School 174573 Hutaraja. The study was conducted in May - August 2024. Data collection used a validation questionnaire and a response questionnaire. The validation questionnaire was used for language expert lecturers, media experts, and material experts. The response questionnaire was used for PAK teachers for grade IV elementary school and grade IV elementary school students totaling 11 elementary school students for small groups and 76 students for large groups. The data analysis used in this study is qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study are in the form of image media products of loving others like loving oneself in the subject of Christian Religious Education and Character Education for grade IV of elementary school, Merdeka curriculum. The results of the study indicate that the products made are valid and suitable to be used as learning media. The assessment is based on validation experts, teachers, and students, namely language experts obtained an assessment percentage of 100% (very valid), material experts 100% (very valid), media experts 100% (very valid), religious teachers 96% (very valid) and finally students in small groups obtained results of 96.9% (very good) and large groups 96.36% (very good).
