Abstract

Arabic is a compulsory subject that must be taught to Islamic schools, especially in MTs. Mujahidin Tumbang Sangai schools. In learning Arabic, the main thing that needs to be taught to students is their writing skills. The role of an active teacher and good mastery of materials is also a must. The reason is, students will be bored and saturated if the material provided by the teacher is not interesting. Then there needs to be learning methods and media such as games to facilitate students' understanding of Arabic lessons. The focus of this study is: 1). How is ludo learning media used in improving writing skills in grade VII MTs. Mujahideen Tumbang Sangai? 2). What are the advantages and disadvantages of using Ludo learning media in improving writing skills in grade VII MTs. Mujahideen Tumbang Sangai?             The objectives of this study are: 1). Knowing the application of ludo learning media in improving writing skills in grade VII MTs. Mujahidin Tumbang Sangai 2). Knowing the advantages and disadvantages of using Ludo learning media in improving writing skills in grade VII MTs. Mujahidin Tumbang Sangai             The research used from this scientific research is qualitative scientific research. Data collection techniques using observations, interviews, and documentation. Anilisis data used in this study using miles and Hubberman version that there are 4 stages that must be done, among others data collection ( data collection), data reduction (data reduction), data display (data appearance), data conclution drawing (conclusion). The validity of using source triangulation.             The results of the research can be: 1). the use of ludo learning media between lian easy to use, increase the creativity of teachers in delivering materials, fun in learning Arabic, and improve students' Arabic writing skills. 2). The advantages of using ludo learning media has a positive impact for students in learning Arabic, eliminating saturation, improving students' cognitive scores, motivating students to learn Arabic. The shortcoming is to cause noise due to the enthusiasm of students in playing ludo permianan so as to disturb other classes in learning, the lack of conduciveness of the class.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the creativity and independence of students through social activities such as the distribution of free food to the community around the campus. Student involvement in this program is designed to provide practical experience in planning, organizing, and implementing social activities that have a positive impact. Students involved in this program not only learn about the importance of empathy and social responsibility but also develop managerial, communication, and creativity skills. Through a participatory approach, students are encouraged to identify community needs, design innovative solutions, and implement them independently. The results of this program show that students actively participating in these social activities experience significant improvements in creativity and independence. Additionally, this program successfully strengthens the relationship between students and the surrounding community, creating a beneficial synergy for both parties. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating social activities into higher education curricula as an effort to equip students with relevant skills to face future challenges. Thus, this mentoring program not only provides direct benefits to the community receiving assistance but also shapes students' character and capabilities more comprehensively.

Abstract

This research provides an understanding of why the Discovery-Inquiry learning method as a means to deliver the classification of living things. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, descriptive by conveying clearly what is meant by discovery-inquiry and why it is appropriate when implemented in the material of the diversity of living things. Education is a planned and conscious effort to create a learning atmosphere and learning process in which students actively develop their potential, discovery-inquiry is an option in its delivery. Discovery-inquiry is a learning process where a concept is not presented in its final form, but students must organize their own learning by finding out these concepts. Meanwhile, the classification of living things classifies living things based on certain characteristics. So, of course it is very related to the discovery-inquiry method which requires students to play a greater role than the teacher by finding and ensuring the object under study whether it is in accordance with the theory or finding something new.

Abstract

Plastic waste is one of Indonesia’s most critical environmental challenges, comprising approximately 17% of the nation's 64 million tons of annual waste. This study explores the impact of a recycling workshop that transformed plastic waste into handicrafts, conducted at the Malang Waste Bank and involving students from Universitas Kristen Cipta Wacana Malang. Using an activity-based participatory approach, the workshop aimed to enhance students’ environmental awareness, practical recycling skills, and understanding of circular economy principles. Data were collected through observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed a significant increase in students’ knowledge of the 3R concept (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), along with improved technical skills in sorting, melting, and crafting recycled products such as bags, hats, and wallets. The workshop also encouraged environmental entrepreneurship by demonstrating that waste can be transformed into valuable and marketable items. This initiative exemplifies how community-based, hands-on learning experiences can foster sustainability values in higher education and support the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy framework.
