Abstract

In implementing the Independent Curriculum, there are times when the role of education will experience obstacles in the implementation process. An obstacle is something that contributes to difficulties in the learning and learning process. This research seeks to reveal what obstacles teachers face in implementing the Independent Curriculum in Social Sciences Learning at SD Negeri 1 Lambheu. The aim of this research is to describe teachers' obstacles in implementing the independent curriculum in science and science learning. The approach used in this research is qualitative and descriptive research type. The subjects in this research were class IVa, IVb and V teachers. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques are carried out by data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that from observation and interview data teachers are still having problems in implementing the independent curriculum in science and science learning at SD Negeri I Lambheu. The teacher's obstacles are in planning, implementing and assessing learning. Due to lack of training and experience, teachers are hampered in compiling teaching modules, such as incomplete teaching module components, such as not including ATP, inappropriate learning objectives, meaningful understanding, as well as teachers having difficulty in determining methods, models, media, not utilizing technology, no LKPD, reading materials and the learning process are not yet as expected by the independent curriculum, teachers are limited in obtaining references, lack of tools and materials, material coverage is too broad and determines assessments that are in accordance with learning objectives. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded, namely: The ability to carry out learning using the Independent Curriculum is in the quite good category. However, teachers experienced several obstacles in implementing the Independent Curriculum at SD Negeri 1 Lambheu

Abstract

The problem formulation in this research is about the role of the principal in improving the quality of education based on national education standards at SD Negeri 1 Kualasimpang. This research aims to determine the role of the Principal in order to improve the quality of education at SD Negeri 1 Kualasimpang and can serve as a guide for other school principals. The research design used was descriptive qualitative. Using interview sheets with 3 sources, namely the principal, teachers and school operators, as well as observation sheets used to find out school facilities and infrastructure. From the research results it can be concluded that in improving the quality of education the school principal carries out his role as 1) educator, the school principal creates a conducive work climate and provides advice. 2) managers, school principals plan quality education programs, prepare and make school plans, and lead schools, 3) administrators, school principals manage finances, plan the curriculum, and manage facilities and infrastructure, 4) supervisors, school principals plan, implement, and realizing educational supervision, as well as supervising the work carried out by educational staff, 5) leaders, school principals know the school's vision and mission, and the ability to make decisions, 6) innovators, school principals establish harmonious relationships with the surrounding community, and become role models for the school community , 7) motivator, the school principal provides sanctions according to existing regulations, and regulates the implementation of an adequate work atmosphere. Based on the results of interviews, observations and documentation obtained, the school principal can be said to have carried out his role well.

Abstract

In social studies learning, student learning outcomes are still relatively low due to the lack of student involvement in the teaching and learning process. The formulation of the problem in this research is how teacher activities, student activities and learning outcomes apply the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model to social studies learning theme 8 subtheme 1 learning 3. This research aims to improve teacher activities, student activities and students' social studies learning outcomes class IV of SD Negeri 39 Banda Aceh City. This research uses the classroom action research (PTK) method with the Kemmis McTaggart model research design, this research uses three cycles. The subjects in this research were 26 class IVA students, consisting of 15 men and 11 women. The data collection techniques used are observation and tests. The data analysis technique uses qualitative descriptive analysis. Observation results show that there was an increase in teacher activity in cycle I with an average value of 2.3 (fair), in cycle II with an average value of 3.1 (good) and in cycle III with an average value of 3.6 ( Good). Student activity also increased, namely in cycle I with an average score of 2 (fair), in cycle II with an average score of 2.85 (good) and in cycle III with an average score of 3.57 (good). Student learning outcomes became better, namely in cycle 1 they got an average score of 50.3 with a completion percentage of 46.1%, in cycle II they got an average score of 71.1 with a completion percentage of 69.2% and in cycle III they got a score an average of 77.6 with a completion percentage of 88.4%. This improvement has reached indicators of success or completion, from the results of the data analysis it can be concluded that the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model in social studies subjects theme 8 subtheme 1 learning 3 can increase teacher, student activity and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research focuses on teachers' efforts to instill the values of peace and character in students at SD Negeri 52 Banda Aceh, with special emphasis on character formation. Character plays an important role in individual interactions in family, school, and society. Character includes knowledge, attitudes, motivation, actions, and skills. Teachers play a very important role in forming positive character traits in students, promoting peace, tolerance and non-violent conflict resolution. This qualitative research uses observation and in-depth interviews to explore how teachers implement and teach the values of peace and character at SD Negeri 52 Banda Aceh. A total of five teachers, principals, and students from grades 4, 5, and 6 were involved as research subjects. This research found that teachers' efforts to implement the character value of peace involve acting as role models, promoting positive behavior, and respecting diversity. They cultivate an environment where peace and harmonious relationships are cultivated. Factors that encourage the implementation of peace character values include teacher example, strengthening positive behavior, and respect for diverse opinions. Teacher integrity and professionalism influence the formation of student character. Their commitment to the profession and interactions with students, parents and colleagues have a significant impact on the development of students' character.

Abstract

The aim of this research is, to describe the implementation of the school literacy program at SD Negeri 51 Banda Aceh and the supporting and inhibiting factors for implementing the school literacy movement program at SD Negeri 51 Banda Aceh. The approach used in this research is a qualitative descriptive research type approach. The research subjects were the principal, class teacher and class VI students at SDN 51 Banda Aceh. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusions. The results of the research show that the implementation of the School Literacy Movement at SDN 51 Banda Aceh was carried out based on the habituation stage, development stage and learning stage. The supporting factors at SDN 51 Banda Aceh are in the form of libraries, reading books, magazines and reading corners. There are also inhibiting factors, such as students' poor reading habits and libraries that are not running well because there is no special staff to manage the library..

Abstract

This research aims to improve social studies learning outcomes after implementing the Jigsaw learning model assisted by Audio Visual Media to improve student learning outcomes in diversity material in Class IV Ranto Panyang Meureubo in 2022/2023. This research is a type of classroom action research carried out in two cycles and in Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation/evaluation, and reflection. Each cycle is carried out in 2 meetings consisting of 1 meeting to teach the material, 1 meeting to carry out evaluation. The research subjects were 30 grade IV students at SD Negeri Ranto Panyang 1 Meureubo for the 2022/2023 academic year, consisting of 10 male students and 20 female students. The instrument used in this research is an observation sheet to determine teacher and student activities during the learning process and test learning outcomes. From the results of the analysis, it was found that in cycle I the average score obtained by students was 76.83 and 20 students (66.67%) completed the learning process and 10 students (33.33%) did not complete. . In cycle II the average score obtained by students was 84.5 and 26 students who completed it (86.67%) and 4 students who did not complete it (13.33%). Student activity increased from cycle I to cycle II. This can be seen from the average score in cycle I which was obtained at 69 and in cycle II obtained an average score of 87.5%. Based on these results, the application of the jigsaw type cooperative learning model assisted by audio-visual media can increase teacher and student activity in learning as well as student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims: 1) to find out student activities through the application of the learning model make a match on the material on the diversity of traditional houses in Indonesia class IV SD Negeri 13 Simeulue Timur 2) to find out student learning outcomes through the application of the make a match learning model on material on traditional diversity in Indonesia class IV SD Negeri 13 Timur.The approach in this research is qualitative and The type is descriptive.The research subjects were 21 grade IV students of SD Negeri 13 Simeulue Timur. In collecting this data using observation sheets of student activity instruments, as well as tests of student learning outcomes. Data were analyzed using the percentage formula. Based on the results of research data analysis, it can be concluded that student activity when applying the make a match learning model in learning at the first meeting was still with good criteria, namely the average value of 3.05 and at the second meeting increased, namely 3.70 with very good criteria. In the first meeting the results of learning completeness were incomplete with a percentage value of 66.66% and at the second meeting it increased to 90.47%. So in this study it can be concluded that the application of the make a match model in class IV SD Negeri 13 Simeulue Timur can increase student activity and student learning outcomes for the better.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model to the skills of drawing illustrations for class V at SD Negeri 36 Banda Aceh. The approach used is qualitative with a descriptive type. The subjects were taken by 28 fifth grade students at SD Negeri 36 Banda Aceh. Data collection techniques are observation and performance appraisal. Data were analyzed by data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of research at SD Negeri 36 Banda Aceh the application of the Project Based Learning learning model can improve students' skills towards learning success, because student skills are an important basic element to achieve the success of a project. In this study the students were active in learning activities which could be seen from the actions of the students with the interaction between fellow students in participating in ongoing learning. The application of learning models can be very effective in the learning process because it is more interesting which requires all students to be active in groups, interact with classmates and dare to appear in front of the class, this can reduce student boredom during the learning process. So that the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model can be used in illustration drawing skills.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to find out the application of the problem-based learning model to the critical thinking skills of grade VI SD 51 Banda Aceh students and what are the teacher's obstacles in applying the PBL model. This study used a qualitative approach with participatory observation data collection techniques and unstructured interviews. data analysis techniques through data collection, data reduction, data display, and verification. The results obtained by 4 out of 5 groups were at a very high level on the criteria for critical thinking ability, the remaining 1 group was at a high level on the criteria for students' critical thinking ability, besides that the application of the problem based learning (PBL) model to students' critical thinking skills in social studies learning was running smoothly. smoothly and optimally also the learning objectives are achieved. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the application of scout extracurricular activities to the social values of students at SD Negeri 1 Lambheu. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The research subjects were 1 school principal and 1 Scoutmaster at SD Negeri 1 Lambheu, Aceh Besar District. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of data analysis, from data reduction, data collection and drawing conclusions, based on the description of the research results at SD Negeri 1 Lambheu and discussion of ethical values in scout extracurricular activities at SD Negeri 1 Lambheu, researchers can draw conclusions about the values -the social values of students in Scout extracurricular activities at SD Negeri 1 Lambheu, including: (1) Discipline, (2) Independence, (3) Cooperation, (4) love of the motherland, (5) Responsibility, (6) Please help , (7) Religious, (8) Honesty and (9) Tolerance
