Abstract

The market is a collection of all buyers and sellers interacting socially in selling and purchasing goods. The existence of markets, especially traditional markets, supports economic activities that can contribute to the economic growth of the surrounding community. The traditional market is the center of buying and selling transactions directly in the community. One of its functions is as a center for the socio-economic activities of the local community. The traditional market of Landungsari Village is an economic forum for the Landungsari community in buying and selling transactions between buyers and sellers. Market development must adjust to the development of the surrounding community. The problem in the traditional market of Landungsari Village is that there is no social feasibility study in developing and realigning the Landungsari Market in the surrounding community. The service aims to solve the problems by conducting a social feasibility study survey of the development and improvement plan and realignment of the Landungsari Market. In its implementation, the service team partnered with the Landungsari Market Manager and the Landungsari Village Government. The result of the service was that 76% of the subjects expected an improvement in the cleanliness of the Landungsari Market, and 100% of the subjects also expected the provision of evacuation routes, symbols, and disaster mitigation tools.

Abstract

This community service aims to improve students' understanding of Arabic language learning by integrating local folklore as a learning medium. This program is implemented by the Arabic Language Education Study Program FPBS UPI in collaboration with the Malaysian Teacher Education Institute (IPG). The methods used include focus group discussions and ethnographic approaches to explore students' needs and adapt folklore from the origins of Bandung City into teaching materials. The results of the community service show that the use of folklore not only improves students' understanding of Arabic vocabulary and structure but also enriches their insight into local culture. The impact of this program is seen in the increasing involvement of students in the learning process and the creation of more contextual and relevant learning. This culture-based approach provides an innovative alternative in foreign language learning oriented towards society's benefit.

Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa Arab di era digital menuntut inovasi media yang interaktif dan kontekstual agar sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik abad ke-21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi potensi Lumi Education dalam pengembangan buku digital interaktif serta merumuskan strategi implementatif yang efektif dalam proses pembelajaran. Kesenjangan penelitian yang diangkat adalah masih terbatasnya pemanfaatan platform digital interaktif seperti Lumi Education secara spesifik dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, terutama yang mengintegrasikan pendekatan integratif, kontekstual, dan adaptif. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi pustaka dan analisis konten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Lumi Education mampu mendukung penguasaan keterampilan berbahasa Arab secara menyeluruh melalui konten H5P yang variatif dan mudah digunakan. Strategi implementasi mencakup strategi integratif yaitu penggabungan keterampilan bahasa dengan literasi digital dan nilai karakter, kontekstual yaitu pengaitan materi dengan kehidupan nyata siswa, serta adaptif yaitu penyesuaian konten dengan gaya dan kemampuan belajar individu. Lumi Education terbukti menjadi platform strategis dalam mentransformasi pembelajaran bahasa Arab menjadi lebih efektif dan bermakna.

Abstract

Ineffective strategies for teaching listening skills (mahārat al-istimā’) at Pondok Pesantren Tahfidz Qolbul Qur’an Putri make the learning environment passive and boring. However, a gallery walk based on the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) approach can be an innovative strategy for teaching mahārat al-istimā’. This study aims to describe the implementation of the gallery walk for teaching mahārat al-istimā’, reveal students’ responses to the gallery walk, and the impacts of the gallery walk on students’ mahārat al-istimā’. This study employed a qualitative-descriptive approach. Data collection in this study includes observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The results of this study show that gallery walks successfully provide positive impacts and responses in mahārat al-istimā’ teaching by creating an active, collaborative, and enjoyable learning atmosphere with a student-centered concept. Students become more focused, enthusiastic, and motivated in listening. The students also show positive responses through their social interactions and understanding of the material. Thus, the gallery walk based on the CLT approach can be an innovative and effective strategy in improving the quality of teaching mahārat al-istimā’ in Islamic schools.

Abstract

Abstrak—Pelanggaran lalu lintas sudah banyak terjadi untuk saat ini. Salah satu pelanggaran yang terjadi, disebabkan oleh pengendara sepeda motor. Banyak dari pengendara sepeda motor tidak menggunakan helm saat bepergian, sehingga dapat meningkatkan risiko kematian jika terjadi kecelakaan. Salah satu penyebab banyaknya pengendara sepeda motor melanggar peraturan lalu lintas yaitu tidak adanya pengawasan dari polisi lalu lintas secara real-time.Oleh karena itu, pada Tugas Akhir ini dibuat sebuah sistem deteksi pelanggaran helm pada kendaraan roda dua menggunakan algoritma SSD yang dapat mempermudah pendeteksian pelanggaran tidak menggunakan helm pada saat mengendarai sepeda motor. Cara kerja sistem ini yaitu kamera yang telah dipasang di tempat yang ditentukan, akan mendeteksi motor yang lewat. Jika kamera mendeteksi pelanggaran pada tempat yang telah dipasangi kamera, maka nantinya akan mengirimkan pesan notifikasi ke pihak kepolisian. Dari hasil penelitian tugas akhir sistem deteksi pengendara tanpa helm pada kendaraan roda dua menggunakan algoritma SSD  memperoleh nilai mAP@50IOU 79,2% dan AR@100 61.4% dengan variabel konfigurasi yang digunakan adalah rasio data train 90%  dan data test 10% , learning rate 0.004, epochs 1, dan batch size 24.Kata kunci —  deteksi sepeda motor, deteksi helm, SSD

Abstract

This study investigates the language ideology that informs policy and practice in military educational institutions, with a particular focus on Arabic instruction for military personnel. It explores how beliefs about Arabic as a strategic foreign language are embedded within institutional policies and pedagogical approaches. Employing a qualitative case study at the Language Education and Training Center under the Indonesia’s Ministry of Defense, data were gathered through document analysis, interviews, and classroom observations. The findings indicate that Arabic is ideologically positioned as a language of strategic significance for international defense cooperation, aligning with the national motto Trigatra Bangun Bahasa. The Arabic curriculum, guided by the Ministry of Defense Regulation No. 1 of 2024, reflects an instrumental ideology that links language learning with defense objectives and intercultural competence. This study underscores the dynamic interplay between ideology, policy, and pedagogy in shaping linguistic competence in military settings. Hence, it contributes to broader discussions on how institutional language policies articulate forms of strategic nationalism in multilingual contexts.
