Furthermore , another 97.3% is influenced by other variables that were not examined in this study

Abstract

This study aims to see the extent to which students' self-confidence in improving mathematical communication skills. The study also examines several other aspects that can improve students' mathematical communication skills. The research method used in this study is the Systematic Literature Review (LSR) using 3 steps, namely the stage of collecting articles on Google Scholar and Sinta. At this stage, 35 research articles were obtained, then the second stage was carried out, namely identification. In this second stage, elimination was carried out on the articles obtained because the articles did not match the focus of the research according to the stated research objectives. The next stage is the stage of critical analysis of the five articles that have been obtained. Based on this analysis, it was concluded that good mathematical communication skills occur if the characteristics of the student's self-confidence are in the high and medium categories, while students with low self-confidence characteristics have an impact on poor mathematical communication. In addition, good mathematical communication can also occur by paying attention to gender equality and providing new learning experiences so that students can explore all the abilities that exist in each of them. This learning experience can be done by using a project-based learning model and is related to everyday life

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of understanding of the material of plane and spatial shapes through the architecture of the Grand Mosque of Syahrun Nur Sipirok. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. This research data was obtained by using observation and structured interviews. The data analysis technique used is triangulation using four steps, namely 1) Description, 2) Reduction/Focus, 3) Selection, 4) Conclusion. The study began with the identification of the problems found and then determined the focus of the problem, namely finding the concept of learning geometry through an in-depth study of the architecture of the Grand Mosque of Syahrun Nur. Data were obtained from 11 respondents who were visitors to the Mosque who were still high school students, based on the results of interviews conducted with respondents, it can be concluded that learning carried out by the method of direct introduction to learning objects is more effective in increasing students' understanding of the material of plane and spatial shapes than conventional learning which only focuses on theories and examples that are abstract and difficult to interpret. Analysis carried out on tourist objects around us can make learning more enjoyable so that the set learning objectives are achieved optimally.

Abstract

The development of the Rafflesia flower as an ecotourism object in Mandailing Natal has great potential to provide economic, social, and environmental benefits to the local community. The Rafflesia flower, known for its uniqueness and rarity, can become a major attraction for tourists interested in rare flora and biodiversity. This research explores the potential of Rafflesia flower ecotourism in Mandailing Natal, the factors influencing its success, and the management and conservation strategies needed to ensure its sustainability. The findings indicate that the development of Rafflesia flower ecotourism can increase local income, create jobs, and empower communities through active involvement in tourism management. In addition, conservation-based ecotourism can support the preservation of the natural habitat of the Rafflesia flower and raise environmental awareness. Tell However, there are several obstacles and challenges that must be addressed, including habitat limitations, lack of public awareness, limited funding and infrastructure, as well as the risks of climate change and natural disasters.
