Abstract

The low level of student self-confidence is usually indicated by the attitude of students who do not dare to express opinions during learning. If this is allowed to continue, this will, of course, impact low student learning outcomes. This research aims to produce a cognitive behavior counseling guide product and self-management techniques to increase the self-confidence of Class X high school students. This research is classified as a development research developed using the 4D model. The subjects involved in this research were five experts. Data collection in this research was carried out using observation methods, interviews, and the distribution of questionnaires with research instruments in the form of questionnaires. The quality of the guidebook is tested using an acceptance test with guidance and counseling experts and testing the level of effectiveness with direct students. Acceptance testing uses the Lawshe formula by calculating CVR and CVI. The effectiveness test used the t-test using SPSS version 23. The results of the acceptance test showed that the level of suitability of the cognitive behavior counseling guidebook for self-management techniques to increase self-confidence in class X high school students was categorized as very suitable in terms of usefulness, accuracy, and feasibility. Meanwhile, the effectiveness test shows that implementing the cognitive behavior guidebook on self-management techniques effectively increases self-confidence in class X high school students. Based on the results of this analysis, it can be concluded that the cognitive behavior counseling guidebook can increase the self-confidence of class X high school students.

Abstract

Many students do not have motivation and discipline in the learning process, including students who do not want to complete their assignments on time, like to procrastinate and procrastinate, do not want to complete their assignments, do not focus on carrying out the learning process and even tend to be very lazy. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral  counseling with cognitive restructuring techniques to improve learning discipline and learning motivation. The research design used is a pretest-posttestnonequivalent control group design. The data collection methods used by the researcher include questionnaires, observation methods, and interview methods. In this study, the normality test was carried out with the Shapiro wilk normality test with the help of SPSS 23.0 for Windows. The hypothesis test conducted with MANOVA is the result of a multivariate test on Wilks' Lambda informing that the F value is 2.963. To determine the effectiveness of the treatment given, the size effectiveness (ES) formula is used, while the result of the calculation of size effectiveness (ES) is 0.408. When viewed based on the criteria for the level of effectiveness in the effect size test, which is 0.2< ES ≤ 0.8 is categorized as moderate or quite effective. So it can be concluded that cognitive counseling with simultaneous cognitive restructuring techniques is quite effective in improving learning discipline and student learning motivation.

Abstract

Gangguan skizofrenia berdampak signifikan pada kemampuan individu dalam kehidupan pribadi, keluarga, dan masyarakat. Sekitar 70% klien skizofrenia di Rumah Berdaya adalah kepala rumah tangga dan/atau ibu rumah tangga yang sering menghadapi tantangan dalam menjalankan fungsi sosial dan keluarga, yang jika tidak diatasi dapat memengaruhi masa depan anak-anak mereka melalui toxic parenting. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan klien skizofrenia melalui terapi kerja pembuatan dupa untuk meningkatkan pendapatan berbasis ekonomi digital. Hingga saat ini, kurangnya yang mengkaji pemberdayaan ekonomi berbasis terapi kerja untuk klien skizofrenia menciptakan kesenjangan pengetahuan yang perlu diatasi. Pengabdian ini melibatkan 30 klien skizofrenia dan 11 pengelola di Rumah Berdaya. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kesehatan mental klien, keterampilan dalam memproduksi dupa berkualitas, dan pemahaman tentang kewirausahaan serta pemasaran produk berbasis digital. Implikasi pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan terapi kerja berbasis ekonomi digital dapat menjadi model pemberdayaan yang efektif bagi klien skizofrenia.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the nature of books that tend to be complex so that students have difficulty understanding the material taught, especially in Indonesian language lessons on vocabulary of adjectives. At this stage, elementary school students should not only be required to understand basic words, but also master more complex vocabulary including words with affixes. The purpose of this study is to develop a picture story book media based on reading literacy to enrich the Indonesian vocabulary of fifth grade elementary school students. The development model used is ADDIE (analysis, planning, product development, implementation and evaluation). The subjects of the study were 30 fifth grade students. Data collection methods were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The instruments used were expert validation questionnaire sheets, and evaluation questions. Data analysis techniques used were qualitative and quantitative. The results of the study showed that there were differences in students' Indonesian vocabulary before and after implementing Picture Story Books Based on Reading Literacy. It can be concluded that Picture Story Books Based on Reading Literacy are effective in Enriching the Indonesian Vocabulary of Fifth Grade Students. The implications of this study show the importance of using attractive visual media to support the learning process in elementary schools.

Abstract

Students' understanding of poetry in elementary schools remains suboptimal. This is caused not only by limited learning time but also by the lack of supporting media that can present the material effectively and engagingly, which makes it difficult for students to understand the meaning and elements of poetry in depth. The purpose of this study was to analyze the use of picture cards based on local wisdom in poetry learning in fourth-grade elementary schools. This research is a development research using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of this study were 34 fourth-grade elementary school students. Data collection methods included interviews, questionnaires, and tests using instruments such as interview guidelines, questionnaires, and learning outcome test questions. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive, qualitative, and quantitative. The study found an increase in student engagement in the learning process, as well as a significant difference in students' poetry learning outcomes before and after using picture cards based on local wisdom. Thus, the use of this media is effective in improving students' understanding of poetry material. The implications of this study indicate that picture cards based on local wisdom can be an innovative alternative to support more interesting, contextual, and meaningful learning for students.
