Abstract

Background: One of the families at risk experiencing stunting, namely Mother which has child age toddler or those who are breastfeeding. Age toddler as stages development enough children​ prone to to various attack diseases, including diseases caused by deficiencies​ or excess intake nutrition. Purpose: To analyze the effect of home visits and video-based health counseling on mothers' roles in managing stunting among toddlers. Method: Quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test approach. Population study is mother who has toddlers in the Wajo Regency. Samples selected use purposive sampling technique. Data collected use questionnaire structured to measure knowledge, attitudes, and practices mother, and sheet observation to monitor growth children. The interventions provided in the form of visit home and education health video- based. Data analysis was performed using statistical tests in pairs to see difference before and after intervention. Results: Showed a significant improvement in mothers’ knowledge, attitudes, and practices following the intervention. Average scores showed an increase between the pre-test and post-test. Statistical test results showed a p-value < 0.05 for all variables, indicating that the intervention had a significant effect. In addition, there were indicators of improved child growth, such as weight and height. Conclusion: Visit home and education health proven video based effective in increase role mother in stunting management. Intervention This can recommended as a strategy in a child-based stunting prevention program public.

Abstract

Background: Pulmonary outpatients often experience recurrent respiratory symptoms requiring continuous support. Limited consultation time, increasing digital health use, and the need for symptom monitoring highlight the importance of AI-assisted nursing care in outpatient pulmonary services. Purpose: This study analyzed the effect of AI-assisted nursing care on digital health literacy, symptom management, and continuity of care among pulmonary outpatients at Bhayangkara Surabaya Hospital. Methods: A quasi-experimental study with a two-group pretest-posttest design involved 70 pulmonary outpatients (35 intervention, 35 control). The intervention group received AI-assisted nursing care; the control group received standard care. Data were collected using the Digital Health Literacy Instrument, a symptom management questionnaire, and the Nijmegen Continuity Questionnaire. Analysis used paired t-test, Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test, independent t-test, and Mann-Whitney U Test. Results: The intervention group showed significantly greater improvements than the control group. Digital health literacy was significantly higher (t = 9.11, p < 0.001), symptom management improved significantly (Z = −7.84, p < 0.001), and continuity of care differed significantly between groups (t = 8.99, p < 0.001). Change scores were substantially greater in the intervention group, particularly for continuity of care (18.95 vs. 2.26), with small effect sizes across all outcomes. Conclusion: AI-assisted nursing care can strengthen digital nursing support for pulmonary outpatients. Integrating structured digital education, chatbot interaction, symptom tracking, reminders, and nurse monitoring improves digital health literacy, symptom management, and continuity of care in outpatient pulmonary services.

Abstract

Effective nursing care services are an indicator of healthcare service quality. The use of electronic medical records (EMRs) plays a crucial role in improving the quality of nursing care services. Complete and accurate nursing care documentation has significant implications for the quality of nursing care provided. Objective: This study aims to analyze the impact of implementing electronic medical records on nurses' performance through nurses' workload and the completeness of nursing care documentation. Method: This study employed a quantitative research design with a cross-sectional approach. A total sampling technique is applied involving 85 respondents as the sample. Data analysis was conducted using path analysis to determine the relationships between research variables. Results: Statistical regression tests (Model 1 and Model 2) showed that the implementation of electronic medical records significantly affects nurses' workload, the completeness of nursing care documentation, and nurses' performance. Path analysis results indicated that electronic medical records have a direct impact on nurses' performance (0.225). Additionally, the effect of electronic medical records on nurses' performance through workload was 0.178, while its effect on performance through the completeness of nursing care documentation was 0.108. Conclusions: The study concludes that there is no significant indirect effect of electronic medical record implementation on nurses' performance through workload and completeness of nursing care documentation.
