Abstract

Orang tua memiliki peran penting dalam mendampingi anak menjalani pembelajaran daring selama masa pandemi COVID-19. Berbagi peran antara mendampingi anak belajar dan melakukan kewajiban bekerja memunculkan tantangan tersendiri bagi orang tua. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara sistem pembelajaran daring dengan kesehatan mental. Sampel penelitian adalah orang tua yang memiliki anak dengan tingkat pendidikan SD sebanyak 32 orang. Variabel sistem pembelajaran daring dinilai berdasarkan kemampuan menggunakan teknologi dan penilaian orang tua pada efektivitas pembelajaran daring. Kesehatan mental diukur menggunakan alat ukur Impact of Event Scale-Revised (IES-R). Hasil uji Chi-square menunjukkan bahwa nilai sig. variabel kemampuan menggunakan teknologi dan variabel efektivitas pembelajaran daring adalah 0.023 dan 0.038, nilai tersebut kurang dari 0.05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antar variabel kemampuan menggunakan teknologi dan efektivitas pembelajaran daring terhadap kesehatan mental. Ketergantungan antara variabel kemampuan menggunakan teknologi dengan kesehatan mental sebesar 25% dan ketergantungan antara variabel efektivitas pembelajaran daring dengan kesehatan mental sebesar 28%.

Abstract

Wabah COVID-19 telah menyebar dari China ke belahan dunia lainnya. Wabah ini tidak hanya membawa risiko kematian akibat infeksi virus, tetapi juga memunculkan tekanan psikologis yang berisiko mengangggu kesehatan mental. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dan nilai ketergantungan atribut antara sistem pembelajaran daring terhadap kesehatan mental mahasiswa selama masa pandemi COVID-19. Sistem pembelajaran daring dibatasi menjadi dua aspek yaitu efektifitas sistem pembelajaran daring (ESPD) dan kemampuan menggunakan teknologi (KMT). Kesehatan mental berfokus pada tekanan psikologis akibat situasi Pandemi yang diukur menggunakan Impact of Event Scale Revised (IES-R). Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah chi-square test dan dependency degree. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektifitas sistem pembelajaran daring dan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menggunakan teknologi berhubungan secara negatif terhadap kesehatan mental mahasiswa dengan nilai ketergantungan atribut antara variabel ESPD terhadap kesehatan mental sebesai 21.875% sedangkan ketergantungan untuk variabel KMT terhadap kesehatan mental sebesar 18.75%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diperoleh gambaran bahwa dari 32 mahasiswa 12.15% memiliki gejala PTSD Parsial, 84.4% gejala PTSD sedang dan 3.1%  terdiagnosa terkena PTSD. Prediksi dari hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan bahan pertimbangan untuk meningkatkan kesehatan mental mahasiswa saat menjalankan pembelajaran daring.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji validitas konstruk instrumen The Centrality of Religiosity Scale (CRS-15) yang telah diadaptasi ke dalam bahasa Indonesia. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 205 mahasiswa Muslim di Yogyakarta dan Pekanbaru. Partisipan terdiri dari 117 (57,1%) laki-laki dan 88 (42,9%) perempuan dengan rentang usia 18-31 tahun (Mage= 21). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) first order dengan menggunakan software Lisrel 8.80. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pengukuran religiusitas lima dimensi telah memenuhi kriteria Goodness of Fit Statistics: Chi-Square χ2 (80) =90.69, p=0.194 (p>0.000), RMSEA=0.026 (p<0.06), Non-Normed Fit Index (NNFI)/TLI = 0.984, Comparative Fit Index (CFI) = 0.988, Standardized RMR = 0.0576. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa butir-butir dalam pengukuran ini secara valid mengukur dimensi religiusitas (T>1.96), dengan rentang R2 berkisar diantara 0.06 – 0.61. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) Second Order dapat dilakukan peneliti selanjutnya untuk memastikan apakah dimensi intelektual, ideologi, ibadah publik, ibadah individual dan pengalaman/penghayatan valid membentuk konstruk religiusitas.

Abstract

Loneliness is a mental health issue. The aim of this research is to understand how adolescents recognize, feel and overcome loneliness. The research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach, involving 38 adolescent (21 girls and 17 boys) who experienced loneliness in three junior high schools (SMP) in Pekanbaru. The data was obtained through online interviews using Google Form. Data analysis uses thematic analysis techniques. The results showed that junior high school adolescents used various coping strategies to overcome loneliness. The most commonly used strategy in grades 8 and 9 is focusing on emotions, while in grade 7 focuses more on problems. The results of this research provide an overview of loneliness and how to overcome it from an adolescent perspective so that it can help the process of counseling and therapy for loneliness in adolescents. Further research is needed to understand the factors that influence adolescents' coping strategies in overcoming loneliness.

Abstract

Help-seeking behavior is an important and fundamental strategy for successful learning when knowledge and understanding are not able to solve problems. This descriptive qualitative research aims to obtain an overview of the patterns of help- seeking behavior applied by students of the psychology faculty of UIN SUSKA. The respondents of this study were 112 students representing semesters 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11. Data collection was carried out using an open ended questionare. The data obtained were then coded to create categories and analyzed. Furthermore, the answers are determined based on their frequency and the effect is seen if it is related to the GPA value. The results showed that the pattern of student behavior in seeking help was as follows: tends to optimize external sources such as asking friends and lecturers. When facing difficulties, students will emphasize instrumental help, namely by reading books or not asking for help at all. The type of assistance that is often needed is material assistance in the form of reference loans, providing assistance to do and asking others to show how to do the task. The figures who are often asked for help are friends. The reason for choosing figures is based on cognitive considerations, such as providing solutions, having the competence to help. The strategy used to optimize the help that has been obtained is to make time arrangements. Keywords: help-seeking, academic difficulties

Abstract

Internet use has become an essential part of modern life. However, when used excessively and without control, it may develop into Problematic Internet Use (PIU). PIU is characterized by maladaptive behaviors that disrupt individuals’ psychosocial functioning, academic performance, and daily life. This article aims to provide a comprehensive review of the literature on PIU, including its definitions, conceptual development, psychological aspects, and contributing factors. Findings show that PIU is not merely about screen time but involves a preference for online interaction, emotional regulation, and poor self-control. Personal factors such as low self-esteem and psychological distress, along with social influences and early life experiences, contribute to the risk of developing PIU. A deeper understanding of PIU is expected to serve as a foundation for preventive and intervention efforts to help individuals, especially adolescents and young adults, use the internet in a healthy and adaptive manner. This study can provide a comprehensive conceptual understanding of Problematic Internet Use (PIU). In addition, it can serve as a foundational reference for anyone who wishes to conduct further research or gain a deeper understanding of PIU.Keywords - Mental Health, Online Behavior, Problematic Internet Use.
