Abstract

Perubahan kajian bahasa dari pendekatan diakronis ke pendekatan sinkronis sebagai tonggak awal dari pendekatan linguistik modern. Ada banyak/beberapa pendekatan linguistik. Hal itu tergantung bidang ilmu yang melatarbelakangi linguistic yang bersangkutan. Pada umumnya ada dua pendekatan dalam kajian linguistik, yaitu pendekatan secara diakronis dan pendekatan secara sinkronis. Terlepas dari pendekatan yang digunakan oleh pakar linguistik ada beberapa tipe bahasa yaitu bahasa isolatif, aglutinatif dan bahasa inflektif, Dalam kaitannya dengan klasifikasi verba, maka dalam verba bahasa Indonesia ada tiga klasifikasi verba, yaitu: verba keadaan, proses dan verba tindakan.

Abstract

Jika kita membicarakan tentang kata pada umumnya, kita mendeskripsikan tentang bentuk dan fungsi kata seperti kita membahas tentang klas atau kategori kata yang meliputi kata kerja, kata benda, kata sifat, kata keterangan, kata ganti dan lain sebagainya. Kita tahu dalam pembentukan kata seperti infleksi dan derivasi, di mana kedua proses itu termasuk proses afiksasi. Di sisi lain, deskripsi tentang kata dari sudut semantik tidaklah sederhana. Banyak aspek tentang kata mesti dipertimbangkan seperti dari sudut fonologis, morfologis dan sintaksis dan sebagainya

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the forms and meanings of compound words in Balinese. The data were collected from Balinese speakers, literature, and the researcher’s intuition as a Balinese speaker. In data analysis, it implemented distributional and referential (identity) methods. The research results were presented in formal and informal manners. The results found that Balinese compounds have noun, verb, and adjective classes. Noun compound words have these construction patterns: noun + noun, noun + verb, and noun + adjective. Verb compound words only have verb + noun patterns. Adjective compound nouns have adjective + adjective and adjective + pre-categorical patterns. Furthermore, there are eleven meanings found in compound words, such as utility, place, time, jurisdiction, similarity in forms, to be like habitat, opposite mixed nature, like its origin, resemblance, and intensity.

Abstract

Hands on is a learning design aimed at involving students in finding information, asking questions, engaging in activities, discovering, and concluding. Known as authentic learning or experiential education, hands on creates an active learning environment. The aims to describe the emergence and benefits of hands on conducted at SOS Children’s,Bantas, this qualitative study with a descriptive method seeks to illustrate how hands on can facilitate students in gaining knowledge from direct learning experiences and to clarify the benefits of hands on activities. Data was collected through observation and interviews. Findings show that hands on appeared in student activities, including actively asking questions, engaging directly with objects during learning, and developing critical thinking, independence, and activeness in students.
