Abstract

Efforts to improve the quality of learning in primary schools today cannot be separated from the contribution of digital learning media. Technology can make learning more engaging and interactive for students. It supports them in developing creative and innovative skills, which are indispensable to face challenges in the ever-advancing digital age. The purpose of this study is to implement the utilization of technology to improve the quality of learning in primary schools. This research applied a mixed approach with descriptive method, combining quantitative and qualitative data to gain a more comprehensive insight. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires given to students to assess the extent to which technology is used in the learning process, in-depth interviews with teachers to get their viewpoints and experiences, and a literature review that strengthens the theoretical basis. The research findings show that the majority of students are at a moderate to high level of technology use, while teachers and schools are proactively implementing various methods to integrate technology in teaching, although they still face challenges such as lack of facilities and understanding from students. This study provides practical recommendations for schools and policy makers in maximizing technological innovation for the betterment of basic education quality.

Abstract

Early childhood development, particularly in the age range of 26 years, is a crucial period for shaping the foundational abilities and potential of children. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach through library research or literature review. This study examines various research findings related to the issues being investigated. During this stage, children undergo rapid growth across various developmental domains, including physical, cognitive, social-emotional, and language development. Physical development involves improvements in motor skills and overall health. Cognitively, according to Piaget, children enter the sensorimotor and preoperational stages, characterized by the use of symbols and language, although their thinking remains egocentric and concrete. Social-emotional development encompasses the ability to manage emotions, build social relationships, and interact with the surrounding environment. Meanwhile, language development is significantly influenced by stimulation from close environments such as family, school, and community. The family and school environments play a central role in providing positive stimulation essential for supporting the childs overall growth and development. Therefore, synergy between various developmental aspects and environmental support is key to optimizing holistic early childhood development.

Abstract

Technological developments and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic have accelerated the adoption of distance learning (PJJ) at various levels of education. However, the implementation of PJJ presents challenges in classroom management, such as limited interaction, low learning motivation, and technical barriers. This article aims to identify challenges and formulate strategic and applicable solutions in the management of PJJ classes. The research was conducted through a literature study with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the study show that PJJ classroom management requires technological skills, adaptive pedagogical approaches, effective communication, and collaboration between teachers, students, and parents. Strategies such as the use of digital media, active learning, and humanist and empathic approaches are the keys to success. With the implementation of these strategies, PJJ can create an inclusive and meaningful learning environment even though it is conducted online.
