Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap pertunjukan Rejung pada tradisi begareh dalam malam bujang gadis pada tradisi perkawinan masyarakat Besemah, Pagar Alam, Sumatera Selatan. Rejung adalah pertunjukan musik tradisi berupa pantun yang ditembangkan dan diiringi dengan gitar sebagai media hiburan dalam tradisi perkawinan pada malam bujang gadis. Pada malam bujang gadis terdapat tradisi begareh, yaitu berkumpulnya muda-mudi untuk membantu pekerjaan dalam upacara perkawinan. Pada saat ini Rejung dijadikan sebagai media mencari pasangan. Tradisi begareh memiliki keunikan, yaitu kebebasan mengungkapkan perasaan melalui pantun untuk merayu pasangan. Rejung digunakan sebagai media komunikasi yang memiliki makna komunikasi verbal dan komunikasi musikal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, pengamatan, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Rejung menjadi media komunkasi dan interaksi antara pemuda dan pemudi dalam mencari pasangan dalam tradisi perkawinan masyarakat Besemah di Pagar Alam. Keyword : Rejung, begareh, Malam bujang gadis, Besemah, Pagar AlamDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/aksara/v19i1.pp1-14

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menyosialisasikan pentingnya menjaga kesehatan sebagai bagian dari implementasi nilai-nilai dalam Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P8), khususnya pada dimensi kesehatan jasmani dan mental. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui pendampingan pembuatan dan penyebaran video animasi edukatif bertema gaya hidup sehat di lingkungan sekolah. Tujuannya adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman peserta didik tentang pentingnya kebiasaan hidup sehat, seperti menjaga pola makan, rutin berolahraga, menjaga kebersihan diri dan lingkungan, serta menjaga kesehatan mental. Pendekatan kegiatan mencakup beberapa tahapan, yaitu sosialisasi tentang konsep kesehatan menyeluruh, pelatihan pengembangan konten edukatif, serta evaluasi terhadap pemahaman peserta didik setelah menyaksikan video. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap positif peserta didik terhadap pentingnya menjaga kesehatan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Evaluasi yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta didik mampu menyebutkan kebiasaan-kebiasaan sehat dan berkomitmen untuk mulai menerapkannya. Kegiatan ini berhasil memberikan kontribusi dalam penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila dengan menanamkan nilai-nilai tanggung jawab terhadap diri sendiri melalui pemeliharaan kesehatan fisik dan mental, serta mendorong peserta didik untuk menjalani gaya hidup sehat secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand and examine the relationship between the impact of company size, profitability and leverage on earnings management. This study aims to examine the industry consisting of 95 food and beverage industries listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, and 43 industries were selected as samples using purposive sampling technique. The data was collected through the Indonesia Stock Exchange source, and using the official website of each industry. This research method uses a quantitative approach, involving descriptive statistics, classification assumption tests and multiple regression analysis tests using SPSS version 24. From the results of the study, it was found that company size has a significant negative impact on earnings management, profitability, which uses the ROA proxy, has a significant positive impact on earnings management, and leverage, which uses the DER proxy, has no impact on earnings management.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to socialize the concept of a sustainable lifestyle in Proyek Penguatan Profil PelajarPancasila (the project to improve the reinforcement value of Pancasila for students) by highlighting the importance of waste managementand planting trees. The activity was carried out to increase students' skills and awareness in managing organic waste as part of the effort to improve the reinforcement value of Pancasila, especially in terms of environmental issues. The approach includes several stages, which aresocialization of the importance of a sustainable lifestyle and the understanding of waste and plants. The results of this activity show an increase in students' awareness of the importance of waste management and planting trees as well as the implementation of a sustainable lifestyle. The data shows that students acquire an improved understanding of a sustainable lifestyle. Students are increasingly aware of themany things they can do to foster a sustainable lifestyle, which they can incorporate into their daily routines. This activity managed to contribute to improving the reinforcement value of Pancasila by grounding it in the context of environmental issues as well as enhancing students' practical skills in using everyday tools to minimize the damage to the environment to maintain a sustainable lifestyle.

Abstract

Instagram has become one of the most influential digital platforms for the construction and dissemination of lifestyle meanings, particularly through the presence of social media influencers. Among various lifestyle narratives, luxury is one of the most dominant and ideologically loaded representations circulated by influencers. This study examines how luxury is represented, constructed, and naturalized in the Instagram content of female Indonesian influencers using Roland Barthes’ semiotic framework. The object of this research consists of visual and textual Instagram posts that display luxury-related lifestyles, including fashion, travel, leisure, and consumption practices. The main problem addressed in this study concerns how signs of luxury operate at the levels of denotation, connotation, and myth to shape audience perceptions of success, femininity, and social status. The objective of this research is to reveal the ideological meanings embedded in influencer content and to explain how luxury is transformed into a normalized and desirable lifestyle. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method with semiotic analysis. Data were collected through purposive sampling of Instagram posts from selected female Indonesian influencers with significant follower engagement. The findings show that luxury is represented not merely through high-priced commodities but through symbolic systems involving aesthetics, body presentation, spatial settings, and narrative captions. At the mythological level, luxury is naturalized as the result of personal effort, self-discipline, and modern femininity, thereby obscuring structural inequalities and reinforcing consumerist ideology. This study concludes that Instagram influencers function as cultural agents who reproduce dominant myths of success and luxury in digital culture.

Abstract

STEM learning at the school level and in pre-service teacher education still faces problems related to low student engagement and limited development of critical thinking skills, which are largely caused by the use of conventional and less contextual learning media. These conditions highlight the need for innovative learning media that integrate technology, meaningful learning experiences, and problem-solving challenges. This study aims to design and develop STEMphoria as a web-based educational game that supports STEM learning while fostering critical thinking skills among students and pre-service teachers. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method, consisting of needs analysis, game concept design, prototype development, and limited initial testing. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and user perception questionnaires, while the data analysis technique used was descriptive qualitative analysis to evaluate the feasibility of the product and users’ responses to the developed game. STEMphoria was designed using a game-based learning approach integrated with thematic narratives, progressive problem-solving challenges, and virtual experiment simulations to enhance users’ cognitive engagement. The results of the study indicate that the resulting product, in the form of the STEMphoria game design and prototype, is perceived as engaging and challenging, and is able to provide immediate feedback on players’ decisions. Preliminary trials suggest that STEMphoria has the potential to serve as a relevant and contextual alternative learning medium to support the development of critical thinking skills in STEM education. Further research is required to examine the effectiveness of STEMphoria more comprehensively in formal instructional settings.

Abstract

Penjelasan materi safety pada setiap kunjungan menjadi hal yang wajib dan sangat penting, HSE (Health Safety Environment) merupakan salah satu langkah awal tentang pengenalan perusahaan sebagai tanggung jawab atas keselamatan dan kesehatan seluruh pegawai dan juga visitor maupun pegawai baru. Berdasarkan data kunjungan pada tahun 2021 hingga tahun 2022, terdapat 24 hingga 50 orang jumlah visitor dalam waktu satu hari yang datang ke PT. Sumitomo Wiring Systems Batam Indonesia. Berdasarkan data tersebut membuat penyampaian HSE Induction harus dilakukan terus menerus. Permasalahan dalam penyampaian informasi tentang HSE Induction yang belum memaksimalkan media yang menarik, interaktif dan media pembelajaran aplikatif dalam penyampaian HSE Induction. Solusi dari masalah ini dapat diselesaikan dengan menggunakan media audio visual seperti motion graphic dengan menggunakan pengembangan produk multimedia Villamil-Molina dan juga analisis produk menggunakan metode EPIC Model. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah video motion graphic HSE Induction, dan analisis menggunakan EPIC Model mendapatkan nilai 4,38 masuk pada kategori “Sangat Setuju” hal ini menunjukan HSE Induction sangat efektif sebagai media informasi untuk menyampaikan HSE Induction oleh perusahaan.
