Abstract

Desa Batukarut terletak di Kabupaten Bandung, yang merupakan wilayah dengan tingkat urbanisasi cukup tinggi akibat dekatnya dengan Kota Bandung. Lokasi ini membuat desa rentan terhadap pengaruh budaya perkotaan, termasuk perilaku negatif seperti penyalahgunaan narkoba dan pergaulan bebas. Mayoritas penduduk Desa Batukarut kemungkinan besar adalah generasi muda (remaja dan dewasa muda), yang menjadi kelompok paling rentan terhadap masalah narkoba dan seks bebas. Sebagian besar masyarakat di Desa Batukarut mungkin memiliki tingkat ekonomi menengah ke bawah. Kondisi ini dapat membuat remaja rentan terjerumus ke dalam penyalahgunaan narkoba sebagai bentuk pelarian dari tekanan ekonomi. Universitas islam Nusantara menjawab permasalahan ini dengan melaksanakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan tema utama sosialisasi dan penyuluhan bahaya narkotika dan obat-obat terlarang serta perilaku seks bebas. Dengan Metode pengabdian Service Learning , kegiatan PKM ini mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat akan besarnya bahaya narkoba dan pergaulan bebas.

Abstract

Batukarut Village experiences problems regarding low basic literacy, lack of textual understanding of religion, lack of facilities and infrastructure, limited family support, and undirected community potential. The focus of community service is to increase the ability to write Indonesian at the elementary school (SD) level, increase the ability to read and write the Koran, develop interest in reading and writing, empower families and communities and strengthen character and cultural identity. The service method is Service Learning by implementing student learning under the guidance of lecturers. The results of service that have an impact on society are awareness of methods, motivation and consistency in learning to write Indonesian, write and read the Al-Quran for children and teenagers in Batukarut Village with learning methods to improve achievement and morals

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low level of student engagement and suboptimal learning outcomes in the subject of Integrated Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS). The aim of the research is to describe and analyze the implementation of management in interactive learning to improve IPAS learning outcomes among Grade V elementary school students. A qualitative approach with a case study method was used. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The research subjects consisted of school principals, Grade V teachers, and students from two public elementary schools in Cianjur Regency. The data analysis process followed the Miles and Huberman model, involving data reduction, coding, categorization, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings indicate that effective interactive learning management involves three main components: (1) lesson planning focused on students’ learning needs; (2) lesson implementation that promotes active interaction between teachers and students through the use of various media and methods; and (3) evaluation that emphasizes formative feedback and reflection. The application of interactive learning management has been shown to positively contribute to increased student motivation and improved IPAS learning outcomes. This study provides both theoretical and practical contributions to the development of instructional strategies in elementary schools and emphasizes the importance of learning management as a foundation for creating meaningful, student-centered education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) pada siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi merupakan pendekatan yang menyesuaikan proses, konten, dan produk pembelajaran berdasarkan karakteristik individu siswa, seperti minat, kesiapan belajar, dan profil belajar mereka. Studi ini dilaksanakan di dua sekolah dasar, yaitu SDN Cinangsi dan SDN Mulyasari, yang berada di Kecamatan Naringgul, Kabupaten Cianjur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar IPA siswa. Siswa menjadi lebih aktif, antusias, dan termotivasi dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Guru juga menunjukkan peningkatan dalam kemampuan merancang strategi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Peningkatan hasil belajar ditunjukkan melalui nilai evaluasi siswa yang mengalami peningkatan setelah penerapan strategi berdiferensiasi dibandingkan dengan sebelum penerapan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dapat menjadi solusi strategis dalam menghadapi keberagaman di kelas dan meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran. Implikasi dari penelitian ini mendorong praktik pendidikan yang lebih inklusif, adaptif, dan berpusat pada siswa. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran berdiferensiasi direkomendasikan sebagai pendekatan yang relevan untuk diterapkan dalam konteks pembelajaran di sekolah dasar, terutama dalam mata pelajaran sains. Abstract

The background of this research is the low problem solving abilities in learning mathematics, due to the less than optimal implementation of online learning in the last two years. One alternative learning that can be applied related to problem solving abilities is the project-based learning model (Project-Based Learning). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the Project-Based Learning model on students' problem solving abilities in learning mathematics. The method used is a quasi-experimental method with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. This research was conducted at MTs Wasilatul Huda. The population in this study were students of class VIII, with the sample being students of class VIII B as an experimental class using the application of the Project-Based Learning model, while the control class used the Discovery Learning model. The instruments used were tests of problem solving abilities. Based on the results of the analysis of the Mann-Withney test, Cohen's d, it is concluded that the use of the Project-Based Learning model affects problem solving abilities in the medium category.

Abstract

This research is motivated by technological developments that require educators to have the ability to adapt, adapt, and be creative in carrying out the learning process and mathematics subjects which are always considered difficult and boring by some students because of their abstract nature. Therefore, it is necessary to have interactive learning media in the form of e-modules in order to help students understand abstract mathematics learning. This study aims to develop electronic modules (e-modules) assisted by valid smart apps creators. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE design (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects in this study were class VIII students and one of the mathematics educators at MTs Darul Hufadz. The data collection instruments used were validation sheets, student questionnaires and educator questionnaires. The results of the data validation analysis obtained by material experts and media experts, the two experts obtained very valid categories. The results of practicality after using the e-module according to students are in the practical category

Abstract

The research backgoround is low critical thinking skills and motivation student learning, and the unvaibility of accomodating LKPD students critical thingking skills. The aim of this research is develop LKPD based on Guided Inquiry that is valid, practical, facilitating the ability to motivate intelligent thinking, as well as students learning on subject of flat side shapes (cubes and blocks) at junior high school level. Qualitative research approach, development research method with ADDIE research design. The research location is SMP Negeri 2 Kertasari implementation in the 2022/2023 academic year. The research subject are students class VIII and math teacher. Instrument used are documents, personal guidelines, validation sheets, and anwer sheets. The results of the research show that the LKPD has been develop is valid.

Abstract

Elementary education faces transformative challenges in the 21st century, where learning practices are not merely about knowledge transfer but require the development of deep conceptual understanding in students. This research aims to obtain information/overview, identify, and analyze the impact of implementing a deep learning approach in enhancing students' conceptual understanding in elementary schools. The research subjects consisted of fifth-grade teachers and students in elementary schools. This study used a qualitative case study approach with data collection techniques conducted through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The implementation stages were based on the deep learning process: understanding, applying, and reflecting. The results show that the implementation of a deep learning approach, which includes indicators of mindful learning, meaningful learning, and joyful learning, has a positive impact on improving students' conceptual understanding in IPAS (Science, Social Studies, and Arts) learning. Due to limitations in the research subjects, future researchers are advised to expand the scope of subjects and subjects, and to conduct further quantitative research to statistically test the effectiveness of deep learning on improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Classroom management is a crucial aspect in creating an effective and positive learning environment. With effective classroom management, students can feel comfortable, engaged, and motivated to learn, thereby creating optimal conditions for achieving learning objectives. This research uses qualitative field research with a qualitative case study approach. A case study is a detailed examination of a single setting, a single subject, a document repository, or a specific, clearly defined event or case, whether it be an individual, family, or organization. The research findings indicate that: The implementation of classroom management at SMP N 1 Agrabinta was carried out effectively and efficiently by establishing class agreements, creating clear rules, and developing planned and regular lesson schedules to improve student learning discipline. Additionally, by providing consistent support and guidance to students, teachers can create a structured and positive learning environment.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of class quality management in improving the effectiveness of student learning in elementary schools. The background of this study is the low effectiveness of learning caused by various factors, such as lack of student learning motivation, non-varied learning methods, less conducive learning environments, and limited classroom management by teachers. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, which was carried out in two elementary schools, namely SDN Cijati and SDN Tanjungsari. Data collection was carried out using observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation reviews. The results of the study indicate that well-planned and organized class quality management is able to create a more conducive learning environment, increase student involvement in the learning process, and encourage teachers to use more innovative learning methods and media. Supporting factors in the implementation of class quality management include support from the principal, regular teacher training, and parental involvement. Meanwhile, the challenges faced include limited facilities and infrastructure and the level of student heterogeneity. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of systematic and sustainable class quality management contributes significantly to improving the effectiveness of student learning in elementary schools
