Abstract

Decrease in Indonesia's PISA scores in 2015, 2018 and 2022. Creative competence can be improved through creative writing skills. This research aims to develop and test the feasibility of pop-up book media with augmented reality features in improving elementary school students' creative writing skills. The subject of this research is the assessment of media and material practitioners. The method used is the ADDIE model. The data collection techniques are observation, interviews, questionnaires, and scoring. The assessment instrument is a validation sheet from media and material experts. Using quantitative data analysis techniques. The results of the validation and assessment of media and material practitioners obtained a score from media experts of 70% in the appropriate category and from material experts of 85% in the very appropriate category. Thus, it can be concluded that pop-up book media with augmented reality features is very suitable as an alternative solution to support the creative writing skills of elementary school students. Future researchers should be able to use the results of this research as a basis for testing the effectiveness of the augmented reality pop-up book media feature in improving elementary school students' creative writing abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to develop pocket book learning media assisted by Wordwall to improve learning outcomes in natural and social science learning on harmony in ecosystems for grade V students of SDN 2 Sukosono, Jepara Regency. This development is motivated by the limitations of conventional learning media that are less interesting and less effective, as well as the complexity of natural and social science materials that require innovative and interactive media so that students more easily understand the material and are interested in learning. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. Data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires, documentation, observation, and multiplechoice tests. This study used data analysis of normality test, sampled paired T-test and N-Gain test. Based on validation from media experts of 93.6% (very feasible), material experts of 90.5% (very feasible), and the results of teacher and student responses of 100% (very feasible), it shows that the pocket book media assisted by wordwall is feasible to use. This can be seen from the results of the paired sample t-test which shows a significance value of 0.000 which means that the average post-test value increases from the previous pre-test average. The N-Gain test shows a value of 0.4 which is said to be effective in the moderate category. Based on the validity, practicality, and effectiveness tests, the Wordwall-assisted pocket book media proved effective in supporting learning. This media is expected to optimally help students' understanding of Harmony in Ecosystems material and improve learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perbedaan gaya menulis siswa berdasarkan intensitas membaca di kelas V SDN Bringin 02, dengan menggunakan gambar sebagai stimulus dalam kegiatan menulis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui triangulasi metode, yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas tiga orang siswa kelas V yang dipilih berdasarkan tingkat intensitas membaca mereka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan intensitas membaca yang tinggi mampu menghasilkan tulisan yang lebih runtut, ekspresif, serta kaya kosakata. Sebaliknya, siswa dengan kebiasaan membaca yang rendah menunjukkan keterbatasan dalam struktur kalimat dan pengembangan ide. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan budaya literasi dalam pembelajaran menulis di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The issue that requires serious attention is the use of language through mobile phones, which often neglects aspects of politeness in communication. This study aims to (1) examine the use of language politeness among PGSD UNNES student teachers in their interactions with lecturers through short messages and direct communication in online learning, (2) identify violations of the principles of language politeness in short message communication, and (3) develop a language politeness program in online learning as an effort to optimise character education. The research employed the research and development (R&D) method using the Borg & Gall model, with PGSD UNNES students as the subjects. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, rating scales, tests, and performance tasks, and were analysed both descriptively and using the n-gain test. The validation results indicated that the language politeness handbook was deemed feasible to use (media expert score: 57 out of a total score of 75; material expert score: 73 out of a total score of 75). The effectiveness test yielded an n-gain of 0.7 (high category), demonstrating that the handbook effectively improves the language politeness of pre-service elementary school teachers and significantly increases students' understanding and application of polite language after the intervention.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesulitan yang dialami oleh siswa kelas V SD Negeri Randu Garut dalam menulis puisi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi hasil tulisan puisi siswa. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru kelas V, wakil kepala sekolah, serta enam siswa kelas V yang dipilih berdasarkan latar belakang akademik yang beragam (tinggi, sedang, dan rendah). Untuk memperoleh data yang valid dan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan, peneliti menerapkan teknik triangulasi, yaitu dengan membandingkan hasil dari ketiga teknik pengumpulan data tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menulis puisi, terutama dalam aspek pengembangan imajinasi, penggunaan gaya bahasa, dan pemahaman struktur puisi. Faktor utama penyebab kesulitan tersebut antara lain rendahnya minat baca, kurangnya latihan menulis, dan strategi pembelajaran yang kurang bervariasi. Temuan ini juga menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pendekatan pembelajaran yang inovatif, seperti media audio-visual, metode kontekstual, dan kegiatan literasi yang menyenangkan, dapat menjadi solusi efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis puisi siswa. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan kolaborasi antara guru, sekolah, dan orang tua dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung pengembangan keterampilan menulis kreatif di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa terhadap penggunaan bahasa nonbaku dalam interaksi digital melalui media sosial serta dampaknya terhadap keterampilan menulis di lingkungan sekolah. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 5A SDN Kalibanteng Kidul 03 sebanyak 18 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 89% siswa memiliki akun media sosial, dan 83% lebih senang menulis di media sosial dibanding di buku pelajaran. Sebanyak 56% siswa mengaku pernah menyalin gaya bahasa media sosial ke dalam tugas sekolah, termasuk penggunaan singkatan, bahasa gaul, dan pengabaian kaidah penulisan seperti huruf kapital. Di sisi lain, ditemukan bahwa media sosial turut mendorong kreativitas siswa, memperluas kosakata, serta melatih penyusunan pesan digital secara efektif. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan media sosial berdampak nyata pada penurunan kualitas penulisan formal siswa, meskipun memiliki nilai positif dalam aspek ekspresi dan komunikasi. Oleh karena itu, disarankan adanya penguatan literasi bahasa Indonesia baku serta pemanfaatan media sosial secara terarah dalam proses pembelajaran.
