Abstract

Motivation is a solution in increasing the morale of skilled workers in construction in order to maximize worker performance to achieve project goals. The aim of this research is to determine the variables Work Relations (X1), Work Environment (X2), Work Benefits (X3), and Worker Wages (X4) which influence Worker Performance (Y) by knowing the motivation variables and the results. The type of research used is quantitative research methods. The analysis technique used is SPSS. The population in the research is all workers from the Pakalu-Soddange Road Improvement Project, Maros Regency, totaling 31 people. From the percentage point analysis of all respondents, all Work Motivation Variables (X) are Work Relationship Variables (X1) with a percentage result of 49.0%, Work Environment Variables (X2) of 45.2%, Work Benefits Variables (X3) of 38 .7%, Worker Wage Variable (X4) with a percentage result of 64.3% has an effect on Worker Performance (Y). The variable that most dominantly influences work motivation on the performance of workers at the Pakalu-Soddange Road Improvement Project, Maros Regency is the Worker Wage Variable (X4) with a percentage result of 64.3%..

Abstract

Mitigasi bencana adalah serangkaian upaya untuk mengurangi risiko dari bencana, baik dengan melalui pembangunan fisik maupun penyadaran dan peningkatan kemampuan masyarakat dalam menghadapi ancaman bencana. Banjir merupakan bencana yang sering terjadi pada wilayah dengan elevasi atau altitude rendah, seperti wilayah Kelurahan Berua, Kecamatan Biringkanaya, Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besar pengaruh setiap variabel dan menyatakan variabel yang memiliki pengaruh terbesar terhadap permasalahan banjir di wilayah RT 03 RW 04 Kelurahan Berua, Kecamatan Biringkanaya Kota Makassar. Menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif untuk menganalisis permasalahan banjir tersebut, sehingga dari hasil analisis itu peneliti dapat menyumbangkan konsep mitigasi yang relevan dengan permasalahan banjir di wilayah setempat Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari uji validitas diperoleh R hitung (pearson correlation) lebih besar dari R tabel (0,254) maka dapat disimpulkan 3 variabel pertanyaan dianggap tidak valid yaitu X2, X5, dan X 11 sedangkan 11 variabel pertanyaan lainnya dianggap valid dan bisa dilanjutkan untuk uji realibilitas dan dari hasil uji reliabiltas diperoleh nilai Cronbach's Alpha yaitu 0,6 maka disimpulkan 14 pertanyaan dianggap reliable. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah beberapa variabel yang menyebabkan banjir adalah kondisi wilayah RT 03 RW 04 Kelurahan Berua, Kecamatan Biringkanaya Kota Makassar yang memiliki tingkat elevasi rendah sehingga air selalu bersifat sering mengalir dari daerah yang tinggi ke daerah rendah. Selain itu intensitas curah hujan yang tinggi terjadi pada bulan desember hingga januari, dan saluran drainase yang belum memadahi sehingga tidak dapat menampung debit air yang disalurkan. Variabel yang memiliki pengaruh paling besar terhadap banjir yang terjadi di wilayah RT 03 RW 04 Kelurahan Berua, Kecamatan Biringkanaya, Kota Makassar adalah saluran drainase wilayah setempat.

Abstract

Estimated Time and Cost of Realizing the Construction Work of the Education Quality Assurance Institute (LPMP) Phase II South Sulawesi. The purpose of this study is to find out all the estimated time and cost of realizing the construction work of the Education Quality Assurance Institution (LPMP) building phase II, South Sulawesi, where this research uses the S curve method with the aim of obtaining credible and valid data from the time schedule. The data collection method is carried out using the RAB method in construction, observation, and documentation projects and the results obtained are processed based on the time schedule made with the estimated time and cost realization design. The results obtained by using the estimated time schedule and realization costs, there is a 6 day time difference between planning and realization time, while the cost difference is Rp.1,506.414.776.12. from the planning budget Rp.42,492,268,405.01

Abstract

Many researchers' interest in carbon nanotube (CNT) materials has grown as a result of their potential use in the construction industry. This is mostly related to the mechanical, electrical, thermal, kinetic, and chemical properties of CNT, which have a big impact on the way concrete functions. Hydrated calcium silicate is a complex network of binding particles that compose the cement composite material known as concrete. Since it has nanoscale features, CNT will interact most strongly with hydrated calcium silicate, improving the concrete's mechanical qualities. The purpose of this study is to ascertain the impact of adding CNT to concrete mixtures. Three distinct mixes were created by varying the types and amounts of admixtures that were added to the concrete mix.  Two mixed variations employed CNT at various doses, while one mixed variation used admixture type F (superplasticizer), and the performance of one was compared to the other. Concrete that was both new and hard underwent specimen testing. On fresh concrete, a slump test was conducted using ASTM C163, while for hard concrete, cylindrical specimens measuring 100 mm x 200 mm were tested for unit weight and compressive strength at 7, 14, and 28 days following ASTM C39. According to the test results, utilizing CNT at a lower dose than the typical superplasticizer dose leads to greater workability and compressive strength. The results of the workability and compressive strength tests will be improved by the inclusion of CNT.
