Abstract

FPTI (Indonesian Rock Climbing Federation), the administrator of the Lampung branch, is an organization engaged in rock climbing. This study intends to find out how to develop athletes at FPTI Lampung. The descriptive evaluative research method uses the CIPP (Contex, Input, Process, and Product) model. The population in this study were FPTI Lampung administrators, trainers and athletes of FPTI Lampung. The data source sample was selected purposively, namely by selecting people who are considered to know about the focus of the problem in depth and can be trusted to be used as data sources. Then it is combined with the snowball sampling technique, which is asking the previous informant to show other people who can be used as the next informant. Based on the results of data analysis conducted by researchers, the results of the study indicate that the government's support, both morally and materially, in sports development, especially rock climbing has a major influence on the resulting achievements. In rock climbing sports, the program has not been fully carried out periodically and in a structured manner. From the description above, it is concluded that it is necessary to improve the quality and procedures in the process of coaching the Lampung rock climbing sport.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between nutritional status and physical fitness level of class X students at SMK Satu Nusa 2. The study used a correlational quantitative approach with data collection techniques through tests and direct measurements. The results of the Shapiro-Wilk normality test showed that the nutritional status and physical fitness data were normally distributed. The regression linearity test (ANOVA) shows that the relationship between the two is linear. Pearson correlation analysis found a very strong and significant negative relationship between nutritional status and physical fitness level. This means that the higher the nutritional status of students (especially those categorized as obese), the lower their physical fitness level. This finding emphasizes the importance of maintaining a balanced nutritional status to improve the quality of physical fitness in school-age adolescents. This study is expected to serve as a basis for designing appropriate nutrition and exercise programs in the school environment.

Abstract

The Indonesian Pencak Silat Association (IPSI) Central Lampung Branch is an organization that plays an important role in developing and preserving pencak silat at the regional level. This study focuses on revealing how IPSI Central Lampung trains athletes using a descriptive evaluative method through the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, and Product) model approach. The research population involved IPSI administrators, coaches, and pencak silat athletes who are active in coaching activities. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, which involves selecting informants who are considered to have in-depth and relevant knowledge of the research problem, supplemented by snowball sampling, in which the initial informants recommend other individuals who can be the next data sources. Data analysis shows that the role of the government, both in the form of moral and material support, is crucial to the development of athletes' achievements, especially in pencak silat, which requires serious attention in terms of continuous coaching. However, the results of the study also confirm that the coaching program run by IPSI Central Lampung is still not fully systematic, periodic, and structured, thus potentially hindering the achievement of optimal performance. Therefore, concrete efforts are needed to improve the quality of coaching, including through continuous program planning, improving the competence of coaches, and providing adequate facilities and infrastructure. With a more focused strategy and cross-sector support, the process of coaching pencak silat athletes in Central Lampung is expected to produce athletes who excel at the regional and national levels.

Abstract

Physical education at the junior high school level requires a comprehensive understanding and mastery of basic sports techniques, one of which is volleyball. The phenomenon that has emerged shows that students' overhand passing skills are uneven and there are still many errors in hand position and ball direction. This problem forms the basis of this study to analyze the level of basic overhand passing skills in seventh grade students at SMPN 3 Bangunrejo. The purpose of this study was to describe students' ability to perform overhead passes in volleyball and to identify factors that affect their accuracy and coordination. This study used a quantitative descriptive approach with observation and performance assessment techniques based on an overhead passing skill test rubric that had been validated by physical education experts. The results showed that most students had moderate passing skills, with an average score of 72.6%. The most mastered aspects were body coordination and response speed, while the weakest aspects were ball direction consistency and power control. Data analysis indicated that playing experience and training frequency influenced skill improvement. The conclusion of the study confirms that systematic training and demonstration-based learning can improve the accuracy and effectiveness of overhand passing techniques. The novelty of this study lies in the application of a quantitative performance-based technique analysis model in assessing students' motor skills, which has rarely been used in the context of junior high school volleyball learning.

Abstract

A form of training that can have an influence on volleyball skills is the use of independent and pair training methods. With the initial attitude, namely standing facing each other, then passing repeatedly and don't let the ball fall and the direction of the ball is unstable. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is an influence on the extracurricular students' under-passing skills in volleyball at SMP Negeri 01 Bangunrejo through independent and pair training methods. The type of this research is quantitative research, this type of research is quantitative research, the experimental method is an activity that includes an initial test, giving exercises, and a final test. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, this research shows that there is a significant influence between independent and pair training on lower passing skills. The results of the T Test calculation, where ????????????????????????? = 2.799 using a significance of 5% and d.b = (N-1) = (24-1) = 23, obtained a value of ???????????????????????? = 0.173. Based on the categories above, there is a value of ????????????????????????? > ???????????????????????? or 2.799 > 0.173. or the increase between the pre-test and post-test was 11.71 or 12.65% with a mean deviation of 0.731. So the null hypothesis (Ho), so the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. The results of the data analysis above obtained a value of R=0.524, a value of F=2.799 with a significance of p = 0.000 (<0.01), so independent and pair training has an influence on the bottom passing skills of extracurricular students at SMP Negeri 01 Bangunrejo.
