Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the interactive dialogue method in Islamic education as a strategy to enhance students’ moral awareness. The focus is centered on the reflection and understanding of the hadith "Save yourselves from the fire of hell", which emphasizes individual responsibility in moral and spiritual development. The research employs a literature review method, examining a range of scholarly sources that explore both the theoretical and practical aspects of interactive dialogue in the context of Islamic educational practices. The concept of interactive dialogue is explored as a means to create a dynamic and participatory learning environment, where students are encouraged to think critically, ask questions, and reflect on their values and behavior in light of Islamic teachings. Findings from the literature reveal that this method is highly effective in helping students gain a deeper comprehension of religious texts, especially hadith, by relating them to real-life moral challenges. Techniques such as open-ended discussions, contextual case studies, and guided self-reflection activities contribute to more meaningful learning experiences. These approaches not only enhance students’ cognitive engagement but also promote the internalization of Islamic values, encouraging the formation of strong moral character. In conclusion, the interactive dialogue method serves as a valuable educational tool that supports both intellectual and ethical development, making Islamic teachings more relevant and impactful in students’ everyday lives.

Abstract

This research aims to explore how the Cambridge curriculum can be adapted as a relevant educational strategy for addressing global challenges, particularly in developing countries such as Indonesia. In the inequality between national education policy and its implementation in the field, the Cambridge curriculum offers an approach that emphasizes critical thinking, collaboration, and global-mindedness. The method used in this study is a qualitative literature review, analyzing various academic sources and reports on the implementation of the Cambridge curriculum in different school contexts. The results of the study show that the adaptation of the Cambridge curriculum in Indonesia, both in public and Islamic-based schools, exhibits different dynamics. However, both have a positive impact. Public schools implement this curriculum directly with a primary focus on global academic standards, without the need to conform to religious values. Meanwhile, the Islamic school has successfully combined the Cambridge curriculum with Islamic values, creating an educational model that is not only academically global but also spiritually and morally strong. Both approaches show great potential in bridging local education with global standards in a contextual and relevant manner.

Abstract

General Background: Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools (SDIT) aim to develop students' religious understanding and character in line with contemporary educational demands. Specific Background: However, the application of curriculum innovation in Islamic subjects—Fiqih, Aqidah, and Tajweed—remains underexplored at the upper-class level. Knowledge Gap: There is limited empirical research on how thematic-integrative approaches are implemented and their impact on student learning outcomes in this context.Aims: This study investigates the implementation of curriculum innovation in Fiqih, Aqidah, and Tajweed learning at SDIT Hidayatul Mubtadiin, Mojokerto Regency. Results: Findings reveal that Fiqih is taught through practical and social projects, Aqidah through reflective-dialogical methods, and Tajweed through digital media and peer teaching. Novelty: The integration of Islamic values into globally and locally relevant themes using a thematical-integrative model enhances contextual religious understanding. Implications: This innovation increases student engagement, comprehension, and character development but faces challenges such as limited digital infrastructure and teacher readiness. The study recommends ongoing teacher training, technology enhancement, and curriculum flexibility to support sustainable innovation in Islamic basic education. Highlights: Thematical-integrative models enhance contextual religious learning. Digital tools and peer teaching boost Tajweed mastery. Innovation faces tech and coordination challenges. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the extent to which the TaRL approach can be adapted in PAI learning practices that are responsive to the unique needs of children on the autism spectrum. This study uses a qualitative method with a field research design. Data were collected through direct observation of learning activities in inclusive classes, in-depth interviews with PAI teachers, special assistant teachers (GPK), and parents of autistic students, and analysis of learning documents. The results show that the TaRL approach, which emphasizes learning based on students' actual ability levels, can be implemented effectively through differentiated instructional strategies, the use of visual media based on religious values, and collaborative support between teachers, parents, and the school environment.
