Abstract

This research article aims to describe and analyze the fundamental thoughts of Musâ’id ibn Sulaimân Al-Thayyâr regarding Ushûl Al-Tafsîr in various related works, especially in five of his works which use the term and label Ushûl Al-Tafsîr. This research uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive literature study approach with data collection techniques through documentation studies using content analysis as a data analysis technique. Primary data sources are the five works of Musâ'id ibn Sulaimân Al-Thayyâr about Ushûl Al-Tafsîr, supported by secondary data source documents related to the theme of discussion of Ushûl Al-Tafsîr as well as the character of Musâ'id ibn Sulaimân Al-Thayyâr and his thoughts. The results of the research article show that Musâ'id ibn Sulaimân Al-Thayyâr is an academic lecturer who has high attention and is very consistent in studying Ushûl Al-Tafsîr as a scientific discipline in his work. Among his interesting thoughts about Ushûl Al-Tafsîr are those relating to the definition and essence of Ushûl Al-Tafsîr, the position of Ushûl Al-Tafsîr, the urgency and purpose of studying Ushûl Al-Tafsîr, and the objectivity of Ushûl Al-Tafsîr. It is hoped that Musâ'id ibn Sulaimân Al-Thayyâr's works regarding Ushûl Al-Tafsîr can be used as reading material and reference sources to overcome the scarcity of references to Ushûl Al-Tafsîr in Indonesia, including in the scientific-academic scope at Islamic religious universities

Abstract

This research article aims to thematically describe Ibnu Al-Qayyim’s interpretation  of the verses and lettres of the Qur’an (maudhu’i) and analyze it from his works. This research uses a qualitative-comparative method with a library study approach and uses a thematic interpretation method (maudhu’i) which is descriptive in nature with data collection techniques using literature and documentation sources, while the analysis technique uses qualitative-interpretative content analysis. By introducing the three collectors’ works, examining Ibnu Al-Qayyim’s interpretation in them, and comparing the three, both in terms, of similarities and differences; It can be concluded that Ibnu Al-Qayyim really proved himself as a commentator who used many thematic interpretation methods (maudhu’i) in his various works. The results of the research in this article also provide implivation for the feasibility of Ibnu Al-Qayyim’s thematic interpretation as an object of scientific research, including through his three collector’s books.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh asumsi bahwa pelajaran Sirah Nabi akan membantu meningkatkan kualitas karakter religius perserta didik di Pondok Pesantren Modern An-Nida. Bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi pendidikan karakter religius dalam pembelajaran Sirah Nabi dalam Kitab Ar-Rahiqul Makhtum. Penelitian ini, memanfaatkan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran Sirah Nabi pada kitab Ar-Rahiqul Makhtum di tingkat SMP sudah cukup baik. Faktor pendukungnya: 1) tingkat intelektual, 2) minat dan motivasi yang tinggi, 3) tenaga pendidik kompeten, 4) lingkungan Islami. Faktor penghambatnya: 1) kurangnya jam pelajaran, 2) kurang fokus dalam pembelajaran, 3) rendahnya tingkat pemahaman, 4) kurangnya referensi, 5) kurangnya sarana dan prasarana, dan 6) kehadiran guru kurang maksimal. Solusinya yaitu: 1) menambah jam pelajaran Sirah Nabi, 2) menggunakan metode tanya jawab, 3) mengadakan kajian rutin orangtua santri, 4) menambah relasi, donatur, dan bekerjasama dengan penerbit, 5) menambah sarana dan prasarana, 6) membangun manajemen kedisiplinan guru.
