Abstract

The increasing application of artificial intelligence (AI) in academic activities, including the study of Islamic materials, raises important questions about its impact on students' Islamic thinking. This study aims to determine the extent to which AI influences Islamic thinking among students of the Islamic Education Study Program at Universitas Islam Zainul Hasan Genggong. This study involved 83 students from the 2021 cohort. Data were collected through a closed-ended questionnaire and analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) via the SmartPLS application. The results indicate that the use of AI positively and significantly influences students' Islamic thinking, as evidenced by a path coefficient of 0.810, a t-value of 20.654, and a p-value of 0.000. The R-square value of 0.656 indicates a moderate contribution of AI to Islamic thinking, while the F-square value of 1.905 reflects a strong influence. These findings can serve as a reference for educators in developing learning strategies that maintain a critical approach to Islamic studies amid the widespread use of AI. Additionally, this study is expected to enhance students' awareness of using AI as an academic tool while acknowledging the importance of primary Islamic sources in understanding Islamic teachings.

Abstract

Data BPOM tahun 2022 mencatat 72 kasus Kejadian Luar Biasa (KLB) keracunan pangan, meningkat 44% dengan 5.505 orang terpapar terutama dari jasa boga dan jajanan. Di Kota Padang Sumatera Barat, ditemukan masyarakat mengonsumsi makanan berisiko tinggi, konsumsi makanan manis mencapai 48,51%, gorengan 43,44%, makanan dibakar 10,42%, dan penyedap 48,02%. Pada tanggal 11 Januari 2022, SDN 29 Gunung Sarik mengalami KLB keracunan makanan dengan 36 siswa. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap siswa tentang jajanan sehat dengan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) : jajanan sehat. Desain penelitian cross-sectional study yang dilakukan di SDN 29 Gunung Sarik Kota Padang. Populasi adalah siswa kelas IV dan V di SDN 29 Gunung Sarik Kota Padang besar sampel 47 orang. Analisa data menggunakan uji Chi square (? = 0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 74,5% responden memiliki pengetahuan baik tentang jajanan sehat, 72,3% responden memiliki sikap positif, dan 55,3% responden berperilaku baik dalam memilih jajanan sehat. Selanjutnya didapatkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara pengetahuan (p = 0,005<0,05) dan sikap siswa (p = 0,015<0,05) dengan perilaku jajanan sehat di SDN 29 Gunung Sarik Kota Padang Data from (BPOM) in 2022 reported 72 cases of Extraordinary Events (KLB related to) food poisoning, a 44% increase, affecting 5,505 people, primarily from catering services and street food. In Kota Padang, Sumatera Barat, it was found that the community consumes high-risk foods, with consumption of sweets at 48.51%, fried foods at 43.44%, grilled foods at 10.42%, and seasonings at 48.02%. On 11th January 2022, SDN 29 Gunung Sarik experienced a food poisoning incident involving 36 students. The study aimed to determine the level of knowledge and attitudes of students about healthy snacks in relation to Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS): healthy snacks. The research design was a cross-sectional study conducted at SDN 29 Gunung Sarik in Kota Padang. The population consisted of fourth and fifth-grade students, with a sample of 47 students. Data analysis was using the Chi-square test (? = 0.05). The results showed that 74.5% of respondents had good knowledge about healthy snacks, 72.3% had a positive attitude, and 55.3% practiced good behavior in choosing healthy snacks. There was a significant relationship between knowledge (p = 0.005 < 0.05) and students' attitudes (p = 0.015 < 0.05) with the behavior of choosing healthy snacks at SDN 29 Gunung Sarik in Kota Padang

Abstract

This research is intended to explore and interpret the values of Islamic character education implied in the novel Anak Kuat by Tere Liye. This research is motivated by the decline of morals in the field of education as well as in the general public. Therefore, the role of education, especially character education, is very much needed to be constantly taught and instilled in social life. The novel titled Anak Kuat was chosen because it is one form of literary work that contains many moral messages and Islamic values that can shape the reader's character into a resilient and ethical individual. This study is a literature-based research (Library Research) that employs a descriptive qualitative approach as its analysis method. The object of study in this research is the novel Anak Kuat by Tere Liye, which tells the story of a child's struggle in facing various challenges, both physically and emotionally. This novel contains important character values such as honesty, hard work, independence, responsibility, and social concern, which are implicitly depicted through the journey of the main character in living their life, identified through the narration and dialogues between characters that reflect Islamic teachings in a contextual, applicable, and relevant manner to the realities of contemporary life, especially in shaping the character of the younger generation.

Abstract

The rise of theft, robbery, gambling and drug users by the youth of Negorejo Village, Lumbang District, Probolinggo Regency causes mental loss, addiction, and prolonged depression that can affect their peers and minors. The presence of Hadratus Shaykh Habib Ali Bin Muhammad al-Habsyi in 2017 brought solutions and significant changes in overcoming one of these problems by establishing the Pettengan Shalawat Council. The Pettengan Shalawat Assembly is a prayer assembly held at night to instill character values. Since the implementation of Shalawat Pettengan, youths are more civilized and have character; this is evidenced by the low level of drug users by young people, who are starting to realize the true meaning of life and the purpose of life. The implementation of the Pettengan Shalawat aims to grow awareness in shaping the character of youth and society so that they can communicate and establish good relationships with God (hablun min Allah) and others (hablun minannas). In this case, the existence of the Pettengan prayer meeting can direct, guide, and make people moral, dignified, and have a character so that they are helpful to the nation and religion.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the internalization of the value of Islamic religious education through the "Friday Shodaqoh" activity to form the students of MA Nahdlatul Ulama Kraksaan to have social care attitudes and good attitudes towards fellow human beings and apply them in everyday life. This descriptive qualitative research, data collection through direct observation to the field, interviews and documentation. The results of this study are MA Nahdlatul Ulama Kraksaan programs religious extracurricular activities with Friday Shodaqoh activities, the habit of "Friday Shodaqoh" is an activity in the form of infaq every Friday which is sunnah1 and has been carried out for more than 4 years. This infaq activity is not determined in nominal value, after the collected funds are handed over to the treasurer or homeroom teacher, then it is coordinated by the teacher in charge of holding the infaq money. pedicab drivers and others. The formation of social care attitudes in students can be seen from the patterns of thinking, attitudes and behavior that are getting better day by day.

Abstract

The development of each child is different both in talents, interests, creativity, emotional maturity, personality, physical and social health. The purpose of this study was to determine how the psychosocial development of pre-school age children from various literatures. This study uses a Literature Review research design with a traditional type of review using the PICO strategy. Articles were searched using the electronic database Science Direct, Research Gate, NCBI Pubmed, Semantic Scholar, Wiley Online Library, Google Scholar, and Clinical Key for Nursing. The results of this study, found as many as 6589 journal articles and as many as 7 journal articles that the author can analyze further based on the PRISMA selection flow. Based on the research, it can be concluded that the psychosocial development of preschool-aged children is that children like to fantasize and be creative, children have the initiative in playing with tools at home, children who like to play with peers will easily be separated from their parents, children understand better what is right and what is wrong. wrong, children learn to string words and sentences, children recognize various colors, children help with simple homework, children recognize their gender, learn new skills through games. Nurses are expected to be able to carry out appropriate stimulation according to the stage of psychosocial development of pre-school children.

Abstract

Parenting styles play a very important role in children's psychosocial development. Psychosocial development is personality development related to behavioral and social relationships. Psychosocial development has stages, and each stage has a critical period or a developmental task that must be passed. This is where the role of the family is needed as the first educator, in creating good psychosocial development. This research aims to develop parenting patterns to improve children's psychosocial development. The systematic review method is used to search for articles in electronic databases, namely Google Scholar, Research Gate, and PubMed/Medline. The search strategy method uses PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and meta-analysis) through four stages consisting of identification, screening, eligibility, and finally inclusion. The search was limited to publication year (2015 to 2023), article type "research article", and Open Access. Articles must be complete manuscripts, published in nationally or internationally accredited journals. Analysis carried out by the author of 6 relevant articles found that positive and supportive parenting styles, which include providing love, attention, appropriate discipline, and open communication between parents and children, contribute significantly to improving children's psychosocial development. In addition, an approach that is oriented towards understanding individual children, understanding their needs, and providing space for self-expression, also plays an important role in establishing balanced psychosocial development. By understanding the importance of positive parenting, parents can play an active role in helping their children grow into psychosocially healthy individuals, who have good social skills, and the ability to overcome the stress and challenges of daily life. This research contributes to further understanding of the important role parents play in shaping their children's psychosocial future.

Abstract

Reconstructing the paradigm of Islamic education has become an urgent necessity in response to the dynamic development of knowledge and the challenges of modernization. This study examines Fazlur Rahman’s alternative ideas as an effort to renew Islamic education through a library research approach. Fazlur Rahman proposes three innovative main approaches: the Islamization of modern secular education as an effort to integrate Islamic values into the contemporary education system; the simplification of the traditional syllabus to align learning materials with current needs; and the integration of classical branches of knowledge with modern sciences to create a holistic and relevant curriculum. This study emphasizes that these three approaches not only have the potential to overcome the stagnation of Islamic education but also open space for educational transformation that can compete globally without losing its Islamic identity. The findings are expected to serve as a conceptual foundation for educators and policymakers in formulating progressive and adaptive strategies for renewing Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the dialectic of faith and action in shaping students' religious character through the Field Practice Exam (UPL) program. This research is motivated by the importance of connecting students' religious understanding with real-life practices. The study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods to describe in depth the program's implementation process. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation of the implementation of the field practice exam program. The results showed that the field practice exam plays a significant role in connecting students' understanding of faith with real-life actions, such as patience in facing difficulties in the field, discipline and responsibility (Amanah) in carrying out tasks, maintaining worship amidst busy practice, and being honest and having good morals in interacting with others during the field practice. The dialectic of faith and action is evident when students' religious values ​​encourage religious behavior, while practical experiences in the field also strengthen students' faith and religious awareness. In addition, the UPL program provides students with direct experience in implementing religious values ​​in social life. Thus, field practice learning becomes an effective means of internalizing religious values ​​and continuously shaping students' religious character
