Abstract

The purpose of this study was determine the level of student knowledge of handling injuries using R.I.C.E method in the physical education study program FKIP University of Bengkulu. The problem in this study was that it was not yet know hiow high the level of student knowledge about handling sport injuries using the R.I.C.E method in the physical education study program FKIP University of Bengkulu. The type of research was descriptive research with a qualitative approach with survey method. The subject of research was a physical education student of the FKIP University of Bengkulu. Using data collection technique questionnaires, interview and documentation. Data analysis used in this research was data reduction, data display, conclusion/verification. The result of percentage of all aspects in the very high category were 61.39% (54 student) in the high category 39.64% (34 student) thus the data concluded that the level of student knowledge of handling sports injuries with the R.I.C.E method can be concluded that student have a very high level of knowledge

Abstract

Usia dini merupakan fase krusial dalam pertumbuhan dan perkembangan manusia. Pada masa ini, berbagai proses penting terjadi yang sangat memengaruhi kualitas hidup anak di masa mendatang. Gizi memegang peran fundamental dalam menunjang pertumbuhan tersebut, di mana asupan makanan bergizi seimbang menjadi kunci agar anak dapat tumbuh optimal. Sejalan dengan itu, tujuan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran orang tua tentang pentingnya pemenuhan gizi seimbang guna mencegah stunting sejak dini. Stunting merupakan masalah gizi kronis yang ditandai dengan tinggi badan anak yang lebih rendah dari standar usianya. Di Kabupaten Kerinci, angka stunting mencapai 24,2%, tertinggi ketiga di Provinsi Jambi. Tingginya angka ini menunjukkan pentingnya edukasi gizi kepada masyarakat. PkM ini dilaksanakan di salah satu posyandu dengan metode penyuluhan interaktif, demonstrasi pembuatan makanan bergizi, sesi tanya jawab, dan pembagian leaflet edukatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman orang tua mengenai stunting dan pentingnya gizi anak. Implikasinya, muncul kesadaran kolektif dan sikap proaktif dalam pencegahan stunting. Kegiatan ini mendukung pencapaian tujuan kedua SDGs, yaitu mengakhiri kelaparan dan segala bentuk malnutrisi serta mewujudkan ketahanan pangan pada tahun 2030.

Abstract

School administration and management are strategic components in supporting the quality of primary education. However, many primary schools in Indonesia still face various obstacles in administration and management, ranging from weak documentation to ineffective leadership. These problems have a direct impact on operational efficiency and the quality of education services. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through semi-structured interviews, non-participatory observation and documentation studies. The research locations included several public and private primary schools in Medan City, with the main informants consisting of principals, teachers and administrative staff. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles and Saldana which includes data reduction, data presentation, and thematic conclusion drawing. The results showed that the main obstacle in school administration lies in the use of manual systems that hinder accuracy and efficiency. On the other hand, principals' managerial competencies are still limited, especially in strategic planning and data-based decision making. The low utilization of information technology and weak internal coordination also worsen the effectiveness of school governance. These problems are systemic and interrelated. The study concludes that primary school administration and management reform needs to be integrated, emphasizing human resource training, system digitalization and cross-role collaboration. The findings make a theoretical contribution to the development of data- and practice-based school management models and are relevant as a policy basis for improving the quality of primary education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research is motivated by an interest in curriculum change, which is a routine and common occurrence in countries with globally advanced education systems. Naturally, changes in the curriculum also affect the Subject Specific Pedagogy (SSP). Based on observations at SDN 197/II Pulau Pekan during IPAS (Science and Social Studies Integration) learning, it was found that some teachers understood the concept of SSP, while others, particularly novice teachers, were not yet familiar with it—likely due to the fact that they had not studied SSP during their university education. The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum has already been carried out in all classes at SDN 197/II Pulau Pekan, from Grade I to Grade VI.This study employs a qualitative research approach, which involves procedures that generate descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words. The findings of the research indicate that in the implementation of Subject Specific Pedagogy in IPAS learning—as observed during the study at SDN 197/II Pulau Pekan—the researcher found several stages carried out by teachers in relation to the teaching module. These stages include: First, in the planning phase of IPAS learning in class VA, teachers at SDN 197/II Pulau Pekan are required to be creative in modifying the teaching modules provided by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Teachers must also be meticulous in selecting relevant topics and materials for IPAS instruction, considering both the available facilities and infrastructure, as well as the specific needs of the students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of student activity during the learning process and the use of less varied methods, which results in low learning outcomes. The aim of this study is to improve learning outcomes by using the Group Investigation model. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles at SDN 88/II Sungai Mengkuang with 27 student participants during the odd semester of 2023. The results indicate an improvement in both the process and outcomes of learning with the implementation of the Group Investigation model. In Cycle I, activity increased from 48.1% to 59.2%, categorized as active. In Cycle II, the activity percentage increased from 70.3% to 85.1%, categorized as very active. This improvement was accompanied by an increase in student learning outcomes, where test results in Cycle I improved from 40.7% to 62.9% (Very Good) and in Cycle II improved from 74.0% to 88.8% (Very Good). Thus, it can be concluded that the Group Investigation model can enhance student learning outcomes and is considered relevant to current educational needs, thereby improving the quality of classroom learning.

Abstract

General background: Mathematics is a core subject in elementary schools, yet students often face challenges mastering basic arithmetic operations. Specific background: In Muara Bungo, many fifth-grade students struggle to grasp multiplication concepts, including word problems, operation selection, and decimal placement. Knowledge gap: Few studies have analyzed multiplication difficulties within this local socio-cultural and educational context. Aims: This study aims to identify the types of multiplication-related difficulties, explore their causes, and provide context-specific recommendations. Results: Findings reveal four main difficulties: misinterpretation of problems, incorrect operation selection, errors in decimal placement, and reliance on memorization over understanding. Internal causes include low motivation and self-confidence, while external causes include fast-paced teaching, limited use of concrete media, and minimal parental support. Novelty: This study highlights psychological and contextual factors as the dominant contributors to multiplication difficulties in Muara Bungo’s schools, offering a locally relevant perspective. Implications: The results suggest that teachers should use varied strategies, concrete-to-abstract approaches, and supportive classroom environments, while parents should encourage consistent home practice. Highlights: Many students misunderstand multiplication word problems and rely on memorization. Psychological factors such as fear and low confidence strongly affect learning outcomes. Contextualized, concrete-to-abstract teaching strategies are crucial for conceptual mastery. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya capaian hasil belajar peserta didik, yang terlihat dari nilai rata-rata ulangan harian sebesar 50, masih di bawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Tingkat Pencapaian (KKTP) sekolah yaitu 70. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan proses dan hasil belajar matematika melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament (TGT) berbantuan media papan jurang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 31 peserta didik kelas V SDN 032/II Muara Bungo. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, tes hasil belajar, dan dokumentasi, yang kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model TGT berbantuan media papan jurang dapat meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran dan capaian hasil belajar. Pada siklus I, ketuntasan belajar peserta didik mencapai 68%, kemudian meningkat menjadi 87% pada siklus II. Peningkatan ini membuktikan bahwa model pembelajaran TGT efektif dalam meningkatkan keaktifan, interaksi, dan pemahaman konsep matematika, khususnya pada materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan. Dampak dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatnya motivasi, keterlibatan aktif, serta kemampuan kolaborasi peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Harapannya, penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif berbasis permainan dengan media inovatif tidak hanya mampu mengatasi permasalahan rendahnya hasil belajar matematika, tetapi juga dapat diterapkan pada mata pelajaran lain. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa guru dapat menjadikan model TGT dengan media papan jurang sebagai strategi pembelajaran alternatif yang kreatif dan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan kognitif, afektif, maupun sosial peserta didik di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini dilaksanakan di kelas V SDN 032/II Muara Bungo dengan latar belakang rendahnya hasil belajar matematika peserta didik, ditunjukkan oleh persentase ketuntasan hanya sebesar 34,37% yang mencapai KKTP. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan proses dan hasil belajar peserta didik melalui penerapan model Make a Match berbantuan media permainan ular tangga. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 31 peserta didik kelas V, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi aktivitas belajar dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Make a Match berbantuan media permainan ular tangga tergolong sangat baik dan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar. Pada siklus I, ketuntasan belajar mencapai 70%, meningkat menjadi 83% pada siklus II. Peningkatan ini menegaskan bahwa penggunaan model Make a Match dengan media permainan ular tangga dapat meningkatkan keaktifan, motivasi, serta pemahaman peserta didik pada materi bilangan cacah sampai 1.000.000. Dengan tercapainya indikator keberhasilan, penelitian dihentikan pada siklus II. Harapannya, model pembelajaran ini dapat dijadikan alternatif strategi oleh guru dalam mengatasi rendahnya hasil belajar matematika dan mendorong terciptanya suasana belajar yang lebih menyenangkan, interaktif, serta bermakna bagi peserta didik

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of students in Pancasila Education. This situation demands learning innovation through the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning model in improving student learning processes and outcomes in Pancasila Education, as well as to examine its implications and impact on active engagement and critical thinking skills. This study was a classroom action research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The subjects were 20 sixth-grade students of SDN 104/II Sungai Pinang in the odd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. Each cycle consisted of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed that the application of the Problem-Based Learning model improved student learning processes and outcomes. Improvements were evident in the learning process, with the average achievement score increasing from 70% in cycle I to 79.5% in cycle II. Meanwhile, learning outcomes also experienced significant improvements. For analytical skills, scores increased from 35% to 80%; Synthesis skills increased from 45% to 75%; problem-recognition and problem-solving skills increased from 40% to 80%; and conclusion skills increased from 50% to 70%. The implications of implementing the Problem-Based Learning model not only improve academic outcomes but also foster critical thinking, collaboration, and student responsibility for learning. Furthermore, this model encourages teachers to be more creative in designing student-centered learning, thus making Pancasila Education more contextual, meaningful, and fostering a reflective attitude toward Pancasila values.
