Abstract

Currently, the debate surrounding the lineage of the Habib is becoming increasingly widespread. However, in recent developments, this issue has turned into a platform for mutual hatred. Therefore, a middle ground is needed to prevent the discourse on lineage from spiraling out of control. The Qur’an can serve as a solution to strengthen the unity of the Muslim community. Using a literature study approach and critical analysis of Qur'anic arguments, this research investigates the exclusivity of the Habib title. This study offers a Qur'anic solution to address this phenomenon, particularly in fostering equality, Islamic brotherhood (ukhuwah Islamiyah), and social justice. It also aims to provide a more objective perspective on the position and role of the Habib within Muslim society and to develop a more inclusive approach to building communal harmony. In this study, the Qur’an, as the holy scripture, provides guidance on morality and brotherhood. It teaches that the most honorable person in the sight of Allah is the one with the highest level of piety (taqwa). This verse is relevant to all of humanity, regardless of ethnicity or lineage. The Qur’an emphasizes that what truly matters is piety, not social status. Piety arises from a transcendental moral awareness. The focus of Muslims should be on self-improvement rather than boasting about lineage, which only generates controversy without any real benefit.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas prinsip-prinsip Hak Asasi Manusia (HAM) dalam Al-Qur'an dan tantangan-tantangan dalam penerapannya dalam konteks modern. Melalui metode tinjauan kepustakaan, artikel ini menganalisis ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an yang relevan, interpretasi ulama, dan aplikasi praktisnya dalam masyarakat Muslim saat ini. Tantangan utama termasuk perbedaan interpretasi, konflik dengan hukum nasional dan internasional, isu gender, kebebasan beragama, pendidikan, dan pengaruh politik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendalami pemahaman tentang nilai-nilai universal HAM yang terdapat dalam ajaran Islam serta upaya untuk memperkuat implementasinya di era modern.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengakaji polemik mengenai nasab (garis keturunan) habib yang belakangan meluas dan memicu polarisasi di tengah masyarakat Muslim. Penelitian ini bertujuan mencari jalan tengah agar perdebatan tentang keturunan tidak berkembang menjadi permusuhan, serta merumuskan kembali posisi nasab dalam kehidupan keberagamaan dengan merujuk pada prinsip-prinsip Al-Qur’an. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis tematik ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an mengenai akhlak, ukhuwah, dan konsep kemuliaan manusia, khususnya penegasan bahwa ketakwaan merupakan satu-satunya ukuran mulia di sisi Allah. Pendekatan ini memungkinkan penilaian kritis terhadap praktik kebanggaan genealogis yang sering menimbulkan konflik sosial. Kebaruan kajian terletak pada penawaran kerangka rekonsiliatif yang menggeser fokus dari klaim status keturunan menuju pembentukan ketakwaan sebagai kesadaran moral transendental. Dengan demikian, kajian ini menghadirkan perspektif Qur’ani yang lebih inklusif dan berorientasi pada persatuan umat.

Abstract

Human beings are a fascinating subject to study. This is not only because they are one of the objects of philosophical inquiry but also because, essentially, all events that occur in the universe are related to humans. It is for this reason that a wide variety of opinions and viewpoints have emerged. The philosophical study of humans in the Qur'an is an analysis of the human self from a philosophical perspective. Its aim is to discover the essence of humanity and all matters related to it, using the Qur'an as the primary source for examining religious teachings. Consequently, this writing is intended to contribute to and enrich the treasury of scholarly knowledge, in addition to developing concepts about humankind. The expected benefit of this study is that by clearly understanding the mystery of human existence, it can serve as a foundation for further purifying oneself from blameworthy traits (akhlakul mazmumah) and filling it with noble character (akhlakul karimah), thus becoming a perfect human being (insan kamil).
