Abstract

Permasalahan sampah di Indonesia masih belum terselesaika sampai saat ini. Hal ini dikarenakan kurangnya kepedulian masyarakat terhadap akibat dari membuang sampah sembarangan tanpa diolah terlebih dahulu di sekitar area sungai. Penelitian ini ditulis dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana perilaku masyarakat dalam membuang dan mengelola sampah rumah tangga di bantaran Sungai Bedadung Kabupaten Jember. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data primer menggunakan cara observasi dan wawancara. Sampel dari penelitian ini yaitu 15 masyarakat yang membuang sampah di bantaran Sungai Bedadung. Berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan didapatkan hasil perilaku masyarakat dalam membuang sampah di bantaran sungai disebabkan karena tidak adanya sarana pembuangan sampah di sekitar bantaran sungai. Hal ini didukung dengan hasil dari wawancara yang menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 12 warga mengatakan bahwa di sekitar bantaran sungai Bedadung tidak terdapat sarana pembuangan sampah yang memadai.  Selain itu, tidak terdapat pengelolaan sampah organic dan anorganik yang dilakukan di daerah tersebut. Hal ini didasarkan pada hasil wawancara yang dilakukan. Sebanyak 8 dari 15 responden tidak mengelola sampah sebelum dibuang. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu faktor yang menyebabkan perilaku masyarakat membuang sampah di Sungai Bedadung yaitu kurangnya sarana dan prasarana pembuangan sampah, kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat dalam mengelola sampah, serta kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat untuk menaati larangan membuang sampah di sungai.

Abstract

Pulsed Electric Field (PEF) merupakan cara menginaktivasi mikroba tanpa merubah ciri khas produk pangan serta menjaga kandungan gizi pangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menggali kelebihan teknologi kejut listrik yang dapat dikembangkan di industri pangan Indonesia. Dengan metode kualitatif, peneliti menganalisis penelitian teknologi kejut listrik yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti dan ahli pangan sebelumnya pada beberapa makanan/minuman olahan. Hasil penelitian membuka jalan baru bagi dunia industri pangan untuk mengawetkan pangan dengan cara yang aman, mengurangi penggunaan bahan kimia berbahaya, serta memeriksa kualitas makanan/minuman olahan sebelum akhirnya didistribusikan ke masyarakat.

Abstract

The development of a teaching module is carried out as a learning support medium, but in developing a teaching module it is necessary to analyze its completeness and accuracy. This study aimed to determine the validity of the PBL-based physics module on simple harmonic motion material that has been prepared. This type of research in this research was qualitative research. The data analysis method used in this research was descriptive analysis method. The data that had been obtained from the validation test in the form of a completeness and accuracy test of the material will be analyzed and described. In the PBL-based Physics module on simple harmonic motion material, a test was carried out with the validation of material experts obtained from the percentage value of the completeness aspect of the material by 87.5% and the accuracy of the material by 87.5%. These results were obtained using qualitative research methods that tend to use descriptive analysis. So that this module can be declared valid or can be used without revision.

Abstract

Instructional aids serve as tools used in the teaching process to provide a clearer understanding of concepts and learning materials. The aim of this research is to design, assess the feasibility, and test the accuracy of a physics instructional aid based on Arduino Nano sensor for the topic of Uniformly Accelerated Linear Motion (UALM). The methods used in this research are literature review and design and development. This research consists of two stages: the first stage is the design stage of the instructional aid, and the second stage is the feasibility test of the instructional aid. In the design stage, there are five steps involved: preparing the tools and materials, assembling the track board, assembling the Arduino Nano and distance sensor circuit, assembling the components of the practical apparatus, and evaluation. The feasibility test of the Arduino Nano instructional aid was conducted through two experiments. From the results of the first experiment, testing the feasibility of the Arduino Nano instructional aid for Uniformly Accelerated Linear Motion (UALM), two findings were obtained. In the first experiment, when the time and angle varied, the graph showed that time is inversely proportional to the angle. On the other hand, in the second experiment, when the time and distance varied, the graph indicated that time is directly proportional to the distance.
