Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of an electromagnetic induction module based on process images on high school students' conceptual mastery and critical thinking skills in physics. The research design used is a nonequivalent control group design with cluster random sampling. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri Arjasa Jember in the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The sample consisted of one experimental class and one control class. Data were collected through pretests, posttests, and observations. The analysis of conceptual mastery using the Mann-Whitney U Test showed a significance value of 0.020 (2-tailed) and 0.010 (1-tailed), indicating a significant effect of the module on conceptual mastery. Meanwhile, the analysis of critical thinking skills showed a significance value of 0.519 (2-tailed), indicating that the module did not significantly affect students' critical thinking skills. These findings suggest that the module effectively supported students' conceptual understanding but was insufficient to foster higher-order thinking. The results highlight the need to integrate more inquiry-based or reflective activities into future module designs to better promote critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis konsep kesetimbangan pada permainan tradisional Engklek. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka melalui berbagai buku dan jurnal. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permainan tradisional Engklek memiliki konsep fisika yang dapat dikaji yaitu pada materi kesetimbangan benda tegar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan hasil bahwa terdapat tiga variabel yang mempengaruhi kesetimbangan tubuh, yaitu posisi kaki pemain, lengan pemain, dan massa pemain Engklek. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa eksplorasi konsep fisika kesetimbangan benda tegar pada permainan tradisional Engklek ini dapat dikembangkan sebagai bahan ajar untuk membantu guru dalam menciptakan inovasi pembelajaran fisika.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengkaji potensi pemanfaatan radiasi sinar gamma untuk ertumbuhan tanaman padi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknikl iteratur review. Data yang telah didapat akan dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan radiasi sinar Gamma dalam dosis rendah memiliki berbagai manfaat, termasuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan bibit tanaman serta perkecambahan benih, memperbaiki sel-sel respirasi, meningkatkan aktivitas enzim, serta meningkatkan produksi struktur tanaman. Sedangkan, dengan dosis yang terlalu tinggi, maka radiasi sinarg Gamma dapat mengganggu pertumbuhan tanaman. Pada pertumbuhan tanaman padi, dosis radiasi sinar Gamma berbeda-beda sesuai dengan jenis tanaman padi. Padi jenis Kultivar Sileso Generasi M-2, padi Siam Kuning, padi lokal Aceh kultivar Sileso generasi M1, padi Varietas Ramos, dan padi lokal Ase Banda mengalami pertumbuhan terbaik dengan dosis radiasi sinar Gamma sebesar 300 Gy. Padi varietas Sintanur mengalami pertumbuhan terbaik dengan dosisn500 Gy. Padi gogo mengalami pertumbuhan terbaik dengan dosis kurang dari 408 Gy. Padi varietas mentik susul mengalami perubahan genetik yang efektif dengan dosis radiasi 100 Gy dan 200 Gy. Padi varietas lokal SiGadis mengalami perkecambahan benih tercepat dengan dosis radiasi 300 Gy.

Abstract

The development of a teaching module is carried out as a learning support medium, but in developing a teaching module it is necessary to analyze its completeness and accuracy. This study aimed to determine the validity of the PBL-based physics module on simple harmonic motion material that has been prepared. This type of research in this research was qualitative research. The data analysis method used in this research was descriptive analysis method. The data that had been obtained from the validation test in the form of a completeness and accuracy test of the material will be analyzed and described. In the PBL-based Physics module on simple harmonic motion material, a test was carried out with the validation of material experts obtained from the percentage value of the completeness aspect of the material by 87.5% and the accuracy of the material by 87.5%. These results were obtained using qualitative research methods that tend to use descriptive analysis. So that this module can be declared valid or can be used without revision.

Abstract

Instructional aids serve as tools used in the teaching process to provide a clearer understanding of concepts and learning materials. The aim of this research is to design, assess the feasibility, and test the accuracy of a physics instructional aid based on Arduino Nano sensor for the topic of Uniformly Accelerated Linear Motion (UALM). The methods used in this research are literature review and design and development. This research consists of two stages: the first stage is the design stage of the instructional aid, and the second stage is the feasibility test of the instructional aid. In the design stage, there are five steps involved: preparing the tools and materials, assembling the track board, assembling the Arduino Nano and distance sensor circuit, assembling the components of the practical apparatus, and evaluation. The feasibility test of the Arduino Nano instructional aid was conducted through two experiments. From the results of the first experiment, testing the feasibility of the Arduino Nano instructional aid for Uniformly Accelerated Linear Motion (UALM), two findings were obtained. In the first experiment, when the time and angle varied, the graph showed that time is inversely proportional to the angle. On the other hand, in the second experiment, when the time and distance varied, the graph indicated that time is directly proportional to the distance.
