Abstract

This study aims to find out the extent of the application of kahoot media in increasing students' interest in learning informatics subjects in MTsN 9 Kuningan school. The research method used is a quantitative method. The design used was quasi-experimental which was part of the experimental method, this study grouped the respondents into two parts, namely the first class as an experimental class that was given treatment using Kahoot media and the second class as a control class that was given treatment using conventional learning. The instrument in this study is in the form of a questionnaire that uses kahoot media which has previously been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis includes normality and homogeneity tests, linearity and the use of paired sample t-tests. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in terms of increasing the learning interest of students taught using conventional learning methods with students taught using kahoot learning media. The use of kahoot learning media in learning Informatics class VII MTsN 9 Kuningan is better than conventional media. This is evidenced by the results of the pretest and posttest questionnaire calculations for the experimental class, the pretest was 71.44 and the posttest was 80.25. This shows a significant increase in student interest in learning after the kahoot learning media treatment with an increase value of 5.81

Abstract

This research aims to find out the learning using the Canva application in the subject of Information and Communication Technology in grade VIII MTsN 3 Kuningan. This study is experimental research, with a classical experimental design Classical Experimental Design. The subjects of the study were 30 students in grade VIII of MTsN 3 Kuningan. Research data was taken by questionnaire and observation sheet. The validity and reliability of the questionnaire were tested using Corrected Item-Total Correlation. The normality test was used the Shapiro Wilk test because the samples studied were less than 50. The results showed that there was an influence of the canva application on the learning outcomes of grade VIII students of MTsN 3 Kuningan in the subject of Information and Communication Technology, as evidenced by the significance value of 0.032 for the learning outcome variable

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to increase the effectiveness of woodwall media on the learning interest of SMPN 1 Cipicung students. The method used in this study uses a quantitative approach with pre-experimental designs (non-designs) in the form of intact-group comparison). The instruments used are observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The research data obtained from the data of the results of the questionnaire that was declared valid using the instrument test, namely the validity and reliability test. Data analysis techniques used normality tests, homogeneity tests, and t-tests. The results of data analysis show that ICT learning using wordwall media has been effectively applied to increase the learning interest of grade VII students of SMPN 1 Cipicung. In the delivery of learning materials, it shows the effect of direct involvement between teachers and students so that it can facilitate the teaching and learning process so that the expected goals can be achieved, especially in increasing students' interest in learning.

Abstract

Due to the traditional methods, the information teaching in this school is rather boring. The purpose of this study is to increase student learning outcomes using genially media materials. Seventy seventh-grade students participated in a quantitative quasi-experiment at SMP Negeri 2 Darma. The genially result is really effective. The siswa rata-rata nilai increased dramatically after using this media, going from 49,71 to 75,71. Uji-t indicates a significant increase (8,041 > 1,690), hence the hypothesis is accepted. Overall, student response was also quite positive (rata-rata 69,60), which is higher than previous methods. Overall, it has been successful in significantly increasing student learning outcomes and motivation in information.

Abstract

Indonesian language learning in schools generally still relies on textbooks and lecture-based methods, making it seem monotonous and less engaging for students. This study aims to enhance students’ learning interest by using Focusky as an instructional medium. The research employed a quantitative method with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design and was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Kadugede. The research subjects were students of class VIII A (27 students) and class VIII B (26 students). Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data is analyzed using quantitative descriptive methods. The study is expected to improve students’ learning outcomes and provide benefits for both teachers and the school. The analysis results show that the average learning interest of students using Focusky media is 37.54, higher than the class without this media, which is 25.38. This difference of 12.16 points is statistically significant (p = 0.000). The Paired Samples T-Test also shows a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), meaning there is a significant difference in learning interest between the two groups. It can be concluded that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. These findings prove that the use of Focusky is effective in increasing the learning interest of Indonesian language students at SMP Negeri 2 Kadugede

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes using Gimkit as a learning medium. The research method used is quantitative with a type of Quasi Experiment using a research design known as Nonequivalent Control Group Design, conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Kadugede. The population used in this study is students in class VII A and VII D, totaling 54 students. Data collection techniques involved observation, interview techniques, and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used are normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis test, or T-test. The results showed that the average learning interest of students in the class using Gimkit was 41.12, which was higher than that of the class without Gimkit, which was 30.04. This 10.08 point difference was statistically significant (p = 0.000), indicating that the use of Gimkit is effective in increasing students’ learning interest in English at SMP Negeri 2 Kadugede. Based on the results of the Paired Samples T-Test, the significance value obtained was 0.000 (< 0.05), thus H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted. This means that there is a significant difference in learning interest between students who used Gimkit and those who did not. Therefore, the use of Gimkit as a learning medium has been proven to enhance students’ interest in learning English.

Abstract

This study is based on the low level of student engagement and unsatisfactory learning outcomes due to the continuous application of conventional teaching methods. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of using Kahoot as a learning tool on the learning outcomes of eighth-grade students at MTs PUI Kuningan in the Indonesian Language subject. The method used is a one-group pretest-posttest design with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used was total sampling, 19 students from class 8 at MTS Kuningan were used as research samples. Data collection procedures included questionnaires, tests (pretest and posttest), and observations. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality testing, N-Gain analysis, and hypothesis testing with Paired Sample T-Test. The findings from the N-Gain test indicate an increase in student learning outcomes after using Kahoot, which is categorized as effective. In addition, the analysis shows a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores, as reflected by the t-test significance value which is below 0.05. The results obtained in this study confirm that Kahoot is an effective tool for improving student learning outcomes and offers a fun and interactive alternative compared to conventional language teaching methods, especially in learning Indonesian.
