Abstract

This research aimed to examine empirically the effect of the performance of Islamic Bank on sharia governance in Indonesia. The social performance of the Islamic Bank was measured by qordhul hasan and micro finance, and sharia governance (SG) was measured by the proportion of the independent board of commissioners, board size, audit committee and sharia supervisory board. The data in this study were secondary data from Islamic Banking Financial Report (IBFR) of 2012-2016. This research applied quantitative approach with the panels of data regression using E-views 9.0 software. Data analysis was conducted by using factor analysis. The test result showed that the direct effect of SG on performance was 0.323 significant because it had a value of t count of 11.96 or a value of probability of (0,000) alpha 5%. The positive coefficient showed that SG was able to improve performance while the highest loading values that reflected SG (TKS) was X3 (number of KA members) of 0.934, and X4 (number of KA meetings in a year) of 0.880. The loading value of X5 was the number of DPS of 0.445 while the value of loading X2 (the number of DK meetings in 1 year) was 0.319

Abstract

Indonesia is experiencing a serious inactivity of cooperatives, initially the number of active cooperatives was 209,448 units (2014) but has decreased to 130,119 units (2023) or a decrease of 79,328 units. This research aims to defined the effect of cooperative outreach on the sustainability of sharia saving and loan cooperatives (SLC). SLCs endeavor to elevate support provision to members. Mutually beneficial will be reached if financial and non-financial services (NFS) provided in a balanced manner. Utilizing data via questionnaires from 11 provinces in Indonesia or 32.3% of the total provinces, linear regression, mediation and moderation analysis were carried out. The analysis technique uses Structural Equation Model Partial Least Square (SEM PLS). The findings show a negative relationship between outreach and sustainability. Meanwhile, capital deepening has a positive effect and has a mediating effect on sustainability. However, NFS were found to have no moderating effect on this relationship. This research concludes that SLCs have to take a look at the capitals strength to maintain outreach, and should be wise regarding non-financial services. As a recommendation, the delivery of NFS needs a carefully consideration because apart from adding costs it also does not support the sustainability of the institution.

Abstract

Empty oil palm bunches processed by palm oil mills in Indonesia are still abundant, reaching 56.35 million tons per year. Empty oil palm bunches contain around 40% cellulose, so they can still be used for various derivative products, one of which is composite products. The use of empty oil palm bunches as raw materials for Bioplastic production is a series of ongoing research, one of which is starch-cellulose blend, but until now it has not been successfully commercialized. The design of the starch cellulose blend bioplastic industry using palm oil as raw material produces two factories, namely a cellulose factory and a composite bioplastic factory. Both factories are designed in separate buildings. The separation of cellulose from TKKS uses a chemical method with soda, after mechanical treatment of size reduction. The industry is designed in 3 scales of production capacity, namely a large scale of 190,000 tons / year, medium 115.00 tons / year, and small 40,000 tons.year. The financial analysis of the three scales of production capacity as a whole is declared feasible. Profit margin is calculated at a minimum of 17.6%. The average payback period is between 3-5 years with an IRR of 24-49%. Analysis of the economic value produces an EScale index of 0.64 which indicates that the economic scale has been achieved. The economic scale of the starch cellulose blend bioplastic industry from TKKS is at a production capacity of 40,000 tons per year with a minimum supply of TKKS raw materials of 20,203 tons/year. At the smallest economic scale, the BEP is actually only 6627.4 tons/year, where this condition can be achieved because the industry has relatively small fixed costs.

Funding for this institution generally comes from several sources, including the State Budget (APBN) as a government institution. The research is descriptive qualitative with primary data from the original source of Pusat Standardisasi Instrumen Peternakan dan Kesehatan Hewan and secondary data taken from existing sources. Not only that, researchers use observation, interviews to obtain other data, this study tries to describe how and how effective Direct Transactions (LS) and cash reimbursement (GU) transactions are carried out at the livestock and animal health instrument standardization center. By providing a snapshot of transactions on SAKTI, the results of this study indicate that government agencies are not yet effective in the budget input process on the Sakti application, there are still error problems such as the website on Sakti loading or blanking. This internship aims to understand the mechanism of the Sakti input process in financial management at the Center for Pusat Standardisasi Instrumen Peternakan dan Kesehatan Hewan, the author gains new knowledge, insights and experiences. Especially in financial management in the division of the financial and state-owned goods work team, such as procedures for running the arrangement of official travel files, witnessing the direct payment transaction process (Ls) after making an official trip, inputting data into the application, in addition the author also gains knowledge about the financial process through Ls transactions, cash reimbursement (Gu), and knowing the Government Credit Card (KKP) files

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of this study is to examine whether the savings and loan cooperative (SLC), through financial literacy, to increase loan performance quality and the business capacity of members as institutional owners. The research sample was selected using questionnaires with five Likert scales. Research population and sample take location in five Java provinces in Indonesia, which represent 150 SLC or 15 percent of the total provinces in Indonesia. The research method was quantitative, and the analysis technique used SEM PLS. The results of this study indicate that saving and loan cooperative management innovations through the provision of business assistance, marketing consulting, and financial literacy affect the credit performance of their institution. Research findings can play a pivotal role of microfinance institutions (MFIs to support members' businesses and strengthen literacy through institutional regulations. This research can assist microfinance institution management to strengthen the organization's strategic role in financial intermediation and empower micro and small entrepreneurs as members in line with the dual economic and social mission.ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji apakah koperasi simpan pinjam (KSP) melalui literasi keuangan dapat meningkatkan kualitas kinerja pinjaman dan kapasitas usaha anggota sebagai pemilik institusi.
