Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of promotional language by influencers on TikTok in Glad2Glow skincare advertisements and its influence on Generation Z’s purchase intention. The research is motivated by the increasing role of influencer marketing in social media, particularly TikTok, which has become a dominant platform among Gen Z. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through semi-structured interviews with 15 respondents aged 18–25 years in Medan who actively use TikTok. The results show that most respondents were exposed to Glad2Glow advertisements and admitted that casual, authentic, and relatable promotional language successfully captured their attention and sparked curiosity. However, only a small portion of respondents expressed an actual purchase intention. Trust was identified as the most dominant factor bridging interest and purchase decisions, while advertisement visualization only played a supporting role. These findings indicate that the effectiveness of promotion is not solely determined by language style but also by the integration of persuasive communication, creative visuals, and influencer credibility. Abstract

Inflation and money supply pla y an essential role in influencing a country’s economic growth. This study aims to analyze the effect of inflation and money supply on economic growth in Indonesia from 2005 to 2024. The study uses secondary data obtained from Statistics Indonesia (BPS) and is analyzed using multiple linear regression methods. The results show that inflation has a negative but insignificant effect on economic growth, while the money supply has a positive and significant effect on Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence Indonesia’s economic growth. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.987 indicates that 98.7% of the variation in GDP is explained by inflation and money supply. These findings highlight the importance of maintaining a balance between inflation control and liquidity management to ensure sustainable and stable economic growth in Indonesia. In addition, the results emphasize that monetary policy should be directed toward stimulating productive sectors, improving public purchasing power, and supporting investment activities. A well-coordinated policy between the government and the central bank is needed to maintain price stability while encouraging inclusive and long-term economic development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh ekspor dan impor terhadap Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) Indonesia selama periode 2000–2023. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode regresi linier berganda dalam bentuk logaritmik, studi ini memanfaatkan data sekunder dari Badan Pusat Statistik, Bank Indonesia, dan World Bank. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan, ekspor dan impor berpengaruh signifikan terhadap PDB Indonesia dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 79,17%. Secara parsial, impor memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap PDB, mencerminkan perannya dalam mendukung produksi domestik melalui penyediaan bahan baku dan barang modal. Sebaliknya, ekspor tidak menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan dan bahkan memiliki koefisien negatif, yang mengindikasikan bahwa struktur ekspor Indonesia yang masih didominasi komoditas primer belum mampu mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi secara optimal. Meskipun model regresi mengalami autokorelasi dan multikolinearitas, analisis tetap relevan secara teoritis. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi kebijakan perdagangan, yaitu perlunya optimalisasi struktur ekspor dan pengelolaan impor secara produktif untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional.
