Abstract

Perilaku perundungan (bullying) merupakan salah satu permasalahan serius yang kerap terjadi di lingkungan sekolah, termasuk pada jenjang Sekolah Dasar. Fenomena ini tidak hanya berdampak pada kesehatan mental dan emosional peserta didik, tetapi juga dapat menghambat proses pembelajaran serta perkembangan sosial anak secara menyeluruh. Sekolah Ramah Anak merupakan inisiatif yang digagas oleh Kementerian PPPA bekerja sama dengan Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Kemendikbudristek) yang bertujuan menjamin pemenuhan hak dan perlindungan anak selama berada di lingkungan sekolah. Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan materi penanganan dan pencegahan perilaku perundungan di lingkungan sekolah dasar untuk mewujudkan sekolah ramah anak. Metode yang digunakan meliputi tiga tahap, yaitu tahap persiapan meliputi koordinasi internal antara tim PkM dengan guru-guru sekolah dasar di Kota Pontianak yang akan terlibat, meliputi tanggal pelaksanaan, lokasi pelaksanaan dan sebagainya; persiapan materi oleh tim PkM, pembuatan modul dan hand out oleh tim PkM dan lain sebagainya, tahap pelaksanaan yaitu workshop penanganan dan pencegahan perilaku perundungan di lingkungan sekolah dasar untuk mewujudkan sekolah ramah anak. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan dengan meminta peserta kegiatan untuk mengisi kuesioner melalui pemindaian QR code. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta terhadap penanganan dan pencegahan perundungan di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop local culture-based teaching materials for Natural and Social Science (IPAS) on the topic of States of Matter and Their Changes that were feasible for use in Merdeka Curriculum learning in Grade IV at SD Negeri 10 Sungai Kakap. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consisted of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation; however, the study was limited to the development stage. The research subjects consisted of three expert validators and 30 fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 10 Sungai Kakap. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires. The validation results indicated that the developed teaching materials demonstrated a very high level of validity, with validation scores of 89.58% for the design aspect, 92.50% for the language aspect, and 88.46% for the content aspect, all of which fell into the very valid category. The practicality test results showed a score of 85.17% in the small-group trial and 88.06% in the large-group trial, both of which were categorized as very practical. Therefore, the local culture-based teaching materials were considered feasible and practical for use in IPAS learning for Grade IV elementary school students.

Abstract

Although animated video-based learning media have received attention in various previous studies, studies that specifically discuss their development in IPAS learning for Chapter 5, Topic C, for Grade V elementary school students based on the Kurikulum Merdeka remain limited. This study aims to produce learning media in the form of animated videos that can be used in the IPAS learning process for Grade V elementary school students. This study used a research and development approach with a product development design, involving 25 Grade V students of SDN 24 Pontianak Kota selected through informant selection. Data were collected through observation and validation, then analyzed using content analysis. The results show that the developed animated video-based learning media were considered feasible for use in IPAS learning. These findings contribute to the development of visual-interactive learning media and broaden understanding of the use of animated videos in supporting IPAS learning in elementary schools. The conclusion of the study affirms that animated videos are relevant as learning media that can support the delivery of material in a more engaging manner and in accordance with the needs of Grade V elementary school students. The implications of this study include theoretical contributions to the development of literature on animated video-based learning media, as well as practical implications for educators in improving the quality of IPAS learning based on the Kurikulum Merdeka. This study also opens opportunities for further research on the effectiveness of animated videos in IPAS learning at the elementary school level.

Abstract

The ability to write simple narrative texts with coherent plot sequences among third-grade elementary school students remains low, thereby necessitating learning media that can help them construct narrative texts systematically. This study aimed to produce a Puzzle-Based Picture Series as a learning medium for writing simple narrative texts for third-grade elementary school students that is suitable for use. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method by adapting the ADDIE model and focusing on the Analysis, Design, and Development stages. The research subjects consisted of four validators (two questionnaire instrument validators and two product validators comprising a material expert and a media expert), one classroom teacher, and 29 students. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, and were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively to assess the feasibility of the developed product. The results showed that the developed medium obtained an average feasibility score of 4.00 for the material aspect and 3.96 for the media aspect, both falling into the “Highly Feasible” category. These results were reinforced by the teacher response test with a score of 97.5% and student responses with a score of 90.16%, both categorized as “Very Good.” The study concludes that the Puzzle-Based Picture Series is suitable for use as a learning medium and has the potential to support the teaching of simple narrative text writing among third-grade elementary school students. Its implications indicate that this medium can be utilized by teachers as an alternative creative learning resource to enhance student engagement and narrative writing skills.
