Abstract

Sebagian besar masyarakat anggota PKK Desa Guntur yang mayoritas adalah ibu rumah tangga berada pada kondisi ekonomi menengah ke bawah, kewirausahaan yang dilakukan oleh ibu rumah tangga juga tergolong rendah. Sebagai alternatif solusi dari kondisi tersebut adalah dengan memberikan sosialisasi kewirausahaan dengan pelatihan pembuatan buket snack. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sehingga dapat menciptakan lapangan kerja, melatih peserta untuk berkreasi, dan mengasah keterampilan dengan memanfaatkan barang yang ada di sekitar. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa KKN UIN Walisongo Semarang di Desa Guntur Demak. Peserta pelatihan buket snack terdiri dari ibu-ibu anggota PKK Desa Guntur, Demak. Adpun pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan metode Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) dengan tahapan sebagai berikut: 1) Survey aset yang dimaki masyarakat dan konfirmasi, 2) Pembelian Bahan, 3) Pelatihan Pembuatan Bucket Snack, 4) Tahap Sosialisasi Kewirausahaan. Hasil dari pelatihan pembuatan buket snack ini mampu meningkatkan kesadaran wirausaha dengan memaksimalkan potensi yang ada dan memberikan keterampilan peserta dalam pembuatan buket snack sebagai salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga. Kata Kunci : Keterampilan, buket snack, wirausaha, Demak Most of the PKK members of Guntur Village, the majority of whom are housewives, are in lower-middle economic conditions, entrepreneurship carried out by housewives is also relatively low. An alternative solution to this condition is to provide entrepreneurship socialization with training in making snack bouquets. This activity aims to improve skills so that they can create jobs, train participants to be creative, and hone skills by utilizing items around them. This activity was carried out by KKN UIN Walisongo Semarang students in Guntur Demak Village. Participants in the snack bouquet training consisted of women from PKK members in Guntur Village, Demak. Meanwhile, this service is carried out using the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method with the following stages: 1) Survey of assets used by the community and confirmation, 2) Purchase of materials, 3) Training on making snack buckets, 4) Entrepreneurship socialization stage. The results of this snack bouquet making training were able to increase entrepreneurial awareness by maximizing existing potential and providing participants with skills in making snack bouquets as a way to increase family income. Abstract

The use of effective sentences in academic communication is essential, especially in essay writing that contains various legal arguments. Essays should employ proper sentence structures to clearly conver ideas and persuade readers. This study aims to analyze ineffective sentence constructions found in the Kumpulan Esai Kritis NACE Competition 2021 published on thr LK2 FHUI website as educational reading material. The research method used is descriptive qualitative and theoretical. Data collection was carried out using observation and note-taking techniques by analyzing various types of errors in the essay texts. The data collection process followed four steps: (1) data collection, (2) data analysis, (3) discussion, and (4) conculusion and recommendation. The results show that many ineffective sentences are still found in the essays, such as punctuation errors, wordiness, inappropriate use of foreign terms, improper word choices, and excessive repetition. These errors negatively impact the clarity and persuasiveness of the messages and arguments within the essays. This research is expected to contribute to improving essay writing quality and the development of more effective academic literacy.

Abstract

This study examines illocutionary speech acts in geography learning on the Ruangguru YouTube channel, which has grown into one of the most popular online learning environments in Indonesia. The background of this study is the increasing use of digital media in the learning process, which requires teachers to develop effective communication strategies so that the material can be well understood by students. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach that combines listening and note-taking methods. The research data consists of three videos on geography education: Definition of Geography, Geographical Conditions of the Asian Continent, and Concepts of Regions and Spatial Planning. Five categories of illocutionary speech acts, assertive, directive, expressive, commissive, and declarative, are clearly visible in the analysis based on Searle's (1975) classification. The most common category consists of assertive, followed by directive and expressive, while declarative and commissive are less dominant. Each type of speech act has a communicative purpose in the learning process by conveying information, encouraging involvement, expressing feelings, making promises, and establishing truth. The study's results indicate that illocutionary speech acts are crucial to creating engaging, interactive online learning. Practically, this research helps teachers and digital content creators improve communication strategies in online classes, while theoretically advancing pragmatic studies in the context of digital education.
