Abstract

This thesis discusses the analysis of potential demand to find out how much people's interest and preference for a transportation development. Jabodetabek is an area that has the busiest transportation activities and of course it is not free from traffic jams. Therefore, a suitable public transportation mode for urban areas is needed, one of which is LRT. The use of dynamic system theory as a basis to find out how much demand people. The transportation mode analyzed is LRT, especially on the Soekarno-Hatta - Kemayoran route. The results of this study indicate that demand is publicvery high for the LRT Soekarno-Hatta Airport - Kemayoran.

Abstract

The terminal is the main and most important element for serving, loading and unloading of goods. The services provided are in the form of loading and unloading activities, arranging and storing goods in the transit warehouse or at the stacking yard, receiving goods to be shipped or sent and handing over the goods to the consignee after being unloaded from the ship. The waiting time or time scale required for a container from the time it is unloaded or lifted from the ship's hold (unloading) until the container leaves the port is known as the dwelling time process. The process of determining the length of dwelling time at the port is Preclearance, Custom Clearance, and Post Clearance. Dwelling time service performance research was conducted at Koja Container Terminal with descriptive quantitative methods, with a total sample of 75 service users. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires with a Likert scale model that had been tested. Then the data collected was analyzed using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) methods. The results of the study show that the value of the service user satisfaction index is75.29%, the level of conformity of dwelling time service performance has not met the expectations of service users, and the main priority for improving dwelling time service performance is 10 attributes that is included in quadrant A and 12 attributes have to be maintained in quadrant B.

Abstract

The increasing number of Jabodetabek residents who drive to the peak area of Bogor Regency makes the Puncak highway more crowded and congested plus the width of the road does not increase and road side disturbances are experiencing The problem faced in this study is how the peak road performance on weekdays and holidays and efforts to improve road service performance on holidays. In this study, the method that will be used is traffic microsimulation using PTV Vissim software to model according to what is happening in the field. Based on the results of the PTV Vissim simulation with the guidance of the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI 1997), the peak road service level on holidays is in bad condition with a V/C Ratio of 0.98. The use of road capacity is less than optimal, due to various side disturbances. By making road repairs through widening from 7 meters to 12 meters, and reducing various side obstacles, it will be able to produce road services from F to C or from the average speed of 2775 smp/hour and do something when the capacity value becomes 5167 smp/hour.
