Abstract

Underdeveloped areas are areas inhabited by communities with various problems such as economic factors, human resources, infrastructure (infrastructure), regional capacity, accessibility, and regional characteristics. Regional development has been encouraged by various government policies, one of which is through pioneer transportation so that people, especially those in the outermost, disadvantaged, poorest, and border areas (3TP) are served and connected in order to reduce regional disparities. This study aims to measure the purchasing power index of each region / region. This study uses the Ability to Pay (ATP), Willingness to Pay (WTP), and Composite Performance Index (CPI) techniques, then formulates a formula to determine the purchasing power index of transportation services. The results of this study are to provide an index value for underdeveloped areas in Indonesia which is associated with the CPI results in regional development related to the development of sea and ferry transportation infrastructure.

Abstract

Domestic CBU flows at Car Terminal of Tanjung Priok Port are increasing. This resulting in a decrease of utilization in the open field at domestic car terminals. This can lead to excessive cost increases and also cause congestion in the Tanjung Priok Port area. Therefore, the Car Terminal at Patimban Port was built with the aim of reducing logistics costs caused by congestion at Tanjung Priok Port. This study aims to describe the competitiveness based on logistics performance and the right marketing strategy to be applied at the Domestic Car Terminal of Patimban Port in 2021.The research method used is descriptive qualitative with an approach using Resource Based View (RBV) analysis, Politic, Economics, Social, Technology, Legal, and Environment Analysis PESTLE analysis and Five Forces Porter Model Analysis. Furthermore, to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the Domestic Car Terminal at Patimban Port SWOT analysis and also 7 P's Marketing Mix was used to determine the right marketing strategy. The results of this study reveal that The Domestic Car Terminal of Patimban Port doesn’t have competitiveness yet according to Porter Competitiveness indicator. Therefore, marketing strategy has been identified and developed for the sustainable of Domestik Car Terminal business in Patimban Port. In terms of logistics performance, the Domestic Car Terminal facility is one of the strength factors for the Domestic Car Terminal of Patimban Port.

Abstract

The increasing number of Jabodetabek residents who drive to the peak area of Bogor Regency makes the Puncak highway more crowded and congested plus the width of the road does not increase and road side disturbances are experiencing The problem faced in this study is how the peak road performance on weekdays and holidays and efforts to improve road service performance on holidays. In this study, the method that will be used is traffic microsimulation using PTV Vissim software to model according to what is happening in the field. Based on the results of the PTV Vissim simulation with the guidance of the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI 1997), the peak road service level on holidays is in bad condition with a V/C Ratio of 0.98. The use of road capacity is less than optimal, due to various side disturbances. By making road repairs through widening from 7 meters to 12 meters, and reducing various side obstacles, it will be able to produce road services from F to C or from the average speed of 2775 smp/hour and do something when the capacity value becomes 5167 smp/hour.

Abstract

An abstract is a brief Route optimization and cargo optimization have a role in efforts to streamline the company's operational logistics activities. There are 5 routes on PT Temas Shipping, the results of the research are one route that dominates the least cargo, especially on the Sumatra route dominated by the skinny route or the least cargo. The method used is Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) with Simulated Annealing (SA) approach. Based on the results of research based on MATLAB software, it can be found that the results of the comparison of the minimum optimization value between alternative ships and existing conditions, namely ship alternative 1 with a difference in the value of 10.16% (existing conditions ship 0. 117 tons and alternative ships 0.116 tons) in the existing condition of the ship, alternative ship 2 with a difference value of 406.56% (existing condition of the ship 0.7 tons and alternative ship 0.03 tons) in the existing condition of the ship In the existing condition of the ship. While testing the route using simulated annealing obtained the results of alternative route 1 with a smaller optimization value with a difference of 0.78% (Existing condition route of 1,424 Nm and Alternative route of 1,346 Nm) than the existing condition route..

Abstract

The shift in route from the Suez Canal to the Cape of Good Hope has led to delays in export shipments, resulting in reduced vessel space allocation and increased shipping costs. This indicates that the company is not effectively implementing supply chain resilience. This study aims to analyze the supply chain resilience at the company, a freight forwarding company in the maritime logistics industry, and provide recommendations for possible mitigation steps. The methodology used in this study is Quality Function Deployment (QFD) with the application of three Houses of Quality (HOQ). HOQ 1 is used to analyze the relationship between customer needs and potential risks, thereby identifying risk priorities. Next, HOQ 2 evaluates the relationship between potential risks and their causes, resulting in prioritized risk causes. Finally, HOQ 3 assesses the relationship between risk causes and mitigation measures, to determine the priority of these measures. The study findings indicate that the top three risk priorities are Document discrepancies and handling errors, Service errors, and Communication tool failures. To enhance supply chain resilience at the company, the recommended mitigation measures are: establishing good communication with customers, implementing a performance assessment system for employees with monthly evaluations, and maintaining effective communication and monitoring with shipping line partners.

Abstract

PT. Multi Terminal Indonesia subdivision Halal Logistics and Cold Storage is a company engaged in the field of logistics service. This research the authors are doing analysis of capacity container yard that has a percentage of yard occupancy ratio over 50% by 2021 means warning overcapacity and it will lead to loading activities in the field became ineffective. The purpose if this research to know throughput container growth in the domestic field and know the field capacity for the next 5 years, so this kind of research is a quantitative with a statistic data analysis. On this study the author uses forecasting methods with techniques used in which normal time series data plot and browser error analysis to determine the forecasting methods to be used. The research uses the type of population data because it uses the 5 years field production report historical data. Based on the miscalculation of the browser by comparison of the 4 kinds of forecasting methods in the fourth error rate, with an 11% MAPE model for the decomposition model method . Based on the forecasting with decomposition method is known throughput through the container for the next 5 year in 2022-2026 earned throughput average yield of 21,925 teus with an average percentage of yard occupancy ratio is in the rate average 61% meaning warning overcapacity field capacity.
